@Cindy61 sorry to hear that, but they do vary so try not to worry - the bloods will give a better indication. Was it 2.7mm?

For those waiting for the blood test results to go with the NT scan.
I had mine done last Tuesday, the results were on my online notes on Monday and I received the letter with them today.
For anybody wanting a time scale x

Thanks Daisy. We don't have online notes annoyingly. She said to me if it was high risk they'll phone within 5 days, and if low risk, I'd get a letter within 2 weeks. Fingers crossed!

My 20 week scan date has just come through - we are actually due to see the Foo Fighters in Dublin on that date so I need to call up and change but just seeing it in black and white is surreal!

@Cindy61 try not to panic. You are within range and even if you were out, it isn't a definitive measurement. It sucks that at the time we most need alcohol we can't x

Just thought I would update you, the bleeding got worse today and by 4 o clock I was going through a sanitary towel in half hour, was going to a and e when I passed what I think is the placenta followed by the foetus in the sack, the pain was excruciating but now I'm in no pain so going to wait it out until tomorrow.

The consultant reassured me that my NT could be normal and booked NIPT at 15 week. I guess i just need to keep calm and carry on. Thank you all for your kind words and information. X

@Kinsters great news! With the NIPT test, did you book this yourself and was it very expensive? Is it just a blood test and how long did it take to get the results?
