Ahh congratulations on the beautiful scans and positive test results 🤗🤗 fantastic news!!! I'm so pleased for you all, getting exciting isn't it 😁😁

I ended up in the EPU again, diagnosed with HG 🙄🙄 had to have 2 rounds of anti-sickness to stop the vomiting and 2 IV's of fluid. Was +2 for ketones but they said I came in at the perfect time. Let me tell you ANTI SICKNESS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I actually ate lunch properly (more than a few bites) and had my first hot chocolate in 6 weeks. Came home, no gagging or wretching. Had a proper sleep without waking up to vomit. Hadn't realised how bad it had gotten until it stopped. Feeling ropey tonight but am actually hungry which I haven't felt in a month so I'm on cloud 9!!

Mirana · 25/06/2019 21:09

Oh also found out my blood group finally, B+, so I dont need anti-D which is a relief, although they'll plan ahead for the birth as it's a relatively rare blood group. Good news all round x

megganonion · 25/06/2019 21:42

Oh my @mynameisMrG im so sorry to hear this! I hope all goes well for you over the next month, take plenty of me time and let dp treat you like a queen!! X

Missmonkeypenny · 25/06/2019 21:45

Mirana B+ is a rare blood group? That’s what I am and I’ve never been told this!

megganonion · 25/06/2019 21:48

@Mirana i am also B+ 😉 apart from myself and my dad ive never met anyone else who is B+ and i give blood regularly. I have no clue what blood type my boys are, their dad is O+ so they are either B or O lol.

anitagreen · 25/06/2019 22:07

My turn for a scan tomorrow I'm hoping I have a nice photo to put on!

DaisyMay25 · 25/06/2019 23:30

@Missmonkeypenny oh no! Glad they've sorted you out in the end though! I might have to start taking my tablets again but I'm not sure that they did anything!

I'm O- as I found out today and DH is +(not sure which type) so I've already got my appointment for that jab! After this pregnancy I might start donating blood, I know I should because everyone can have my blood?

DaisyMay25 · 26/06/2019 00:20

@Mirana that was for, sorry!

mynameisMrG · 26/06/2019 07:32

So glad you have found some relief @Mirana hope it lasts!

Thanks @megganonion I intend to milk it lol

Good luck to all those getting scanned today 😊

@anitagreen good luck! Hope all goes well x

Bentley111 · 26/06/2019 09:14

Good luck to those having scans today!

So pleased you're feeling better @Mirana

Can I ask how long everyone's scan appointments took? My appt is 3.20 tomorrow - dh isn't sure whether it's worth going back to work or not after or just booking the whole afternoon off

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 26/06/2019 09:29

@Bentley111 from my memory the 12-week scan itself doesn’t take that long but if you are having the screening tests you may need to factor in waiting times for this. It probably isn’t worth his while going back although it obviously depends what time he usually finishes.

I had some bleeding last night. Not a lot but it was bright red. Not sure what to do think, 10+5 just now. Feeling so sick today that I can’t concentrate. Going to phone triage in a bit...

DaisyMay25 · 26/06/2019 09:42

@Bentley111 mine took an hour yesterday, but that was because baby wasn't in right position so the scan took just over the 30 minutes and then I had a load of appointments to book in.

@MonicaGellerHyphenBing it could just be your irritated cervix but give them a call anyway. When's your scan?

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 26/06/2019 10:06

My scan isn’t for another 2 weeks on Friday. I’ve just been sick in the disabled toilet at my office. Honestly never felt this low. I’m on annual leave tomorrow and Friday and have a mountain of work to get through today but I honestly don’t know how 😢

Morris26 · 26/06/2019 10:32

Had my scan this morning at 9 weeks due to spotting but all is well and baby is measuring as expected. Appointment was half hour late and then they prodded me lots as they were testing out a new machine. Thought I was going to wet myself but just so pleased everything is OK! Attached pic not that you can really see much!!

@MonicaGellerHyphenBing hope your day gets better and triage are helpful. Me and the disabled work loo are getting very well acquainted too!

Hope everyone else has a good day too! Xx

Monica EPU should see you but if they don’t, can you book a private one for peace of mind? I know that isn’t an option for everyone but it might be for you Flowers

12 weeks today, feels like a massive milestone hit! Very impatiently waiting for my scan on Monday - I’m on annual leave all week this week and time is going even slower!

MummyBearBoo · 26/06/2019 11:14

Thank @Bentley111 and @Kinsters -I'm coping ok so far my trisomy results are due today should get a phone call at some point but the biggest risk result isn't due til Friday at the earliest! Think I might find out gender today!
@Morris26 - I couldn't eat properly til I hit 10 weeks then my appetite and sickness got better!
@mynameisMrG -12 weeks hope 16 weeks come quickly for you so you can feel more relaxed! I think I'm 12 weeks on Friday according to my dating scan I had at 9+4 though at my scan on Monday (I was supposed to be 11+3) they said the baby was already measuring at 12 weeks!
@megganonion -I'm B+ too -thank you for giving blood I had to have 3 emergency blood transfusions March last year due to internal bleeding following my TFMR!! I never heard that it's rare! When I was younger I didn't weigh enough to give blood I gave blood a couple of times when I got heavier but then I'm no longer allowed to give blood coz I've had transfusions!
@Missmonkeypenny -I get a really bad stretching pain if I get up too quickly and I have to bend forwards til it eases!
Lovely scan pics! Xx

mummabear18 · 26/06/2019 12:06

Had our dating scan today... was extremely exciting to see and we have an extremely active baby. Due at the beginning of Jan 🤗

Anyone have thoughts on gender?!

beth3735 · 26/06/2019 12:13

@mummabear18 I’m thinking boy 💙

DaisyMay25 · 26/06/2019 12:16

@mummabear18 lovely scan! I think girl though!

anitagreen · 26/06/2019 12:16

anitagreen · 26/06/2019 12:17

My pic is awful quality though Grin

anitagreen · 26/06/2019 12:17

Better pic I think

Bentley111 · 26/06/2019 12:19

Thanks @MonicaGellerHyphenBing and @DaisyMay25 I was thinking about an hour given time for test results too.

@MonicaGellerHyphenBing hope triage is helpful, try not to panic x

Congrats @Morris26 & @mummabear18 💜

Another one feeling rotten (again) today. I'm so, so bored of feeling like this now - it is miserable... and I'm going to probably attack the next person who suggests ginger 😩
@Mirana did you just go to EPU with sickness? The meds I've been prescribed are doing nothing and my head is pounding where I'm so dehydrated- I just can't keep anything down at all - and I'm starting to think a drip might be the best option.
