@MoominMantra i would guess girl aswel!! Oh i cant wait too see the actual genders, just to see if the theories work to some extent.
To the ladies waiting on cvs result or tests... i really hope you all get a positive outcome, i think our due date club has lost enough angels over the last number of week. I truly hope we can all start the next decade with healthy babies!

Thanks guys. I don't mind if it's a boy or a girl but since I have 3 dds already I'm probably more likely to have another girl I think.

Are those of you not having diagnostic tests going to have a private scan to find out the gender? I just want to find out so that it's easier to choose a name. I am not sure if my hospital will be funny about telling me gender or not at the 20 week scan.

Hope everyone's having a nice weekend. Because of the good scan I'm restarting my exercise classes. There are lots of things I hate about pregnancy but how my boobs look in a sports bra is not one of them! I've always had tiny breasts so it's a novelty!

@DaisyMay25 oh no 🙈 my DH is exactly the same about giving birth... MIL lives opposite the hospital & he was like "as soon as it's out she'll be over." Erm, no she bloody won't!!!

Lovely pics @MoominMantra and @maym 😍 have read about nub theory but it's so hard to tell unless it's really clear! How does the skull theory work?

I’ve got my early scan this.morning, so excited! Hope I get a good pic like all the other lovely ones being posted. I’m 10+1 so should be reasonably clear 🤞🏻

Oh ladies, I've woke up this morning and had a tiny bit of red blood when I wiped. I've now got back into bed and I feel sick and have some mild cramping. But I am driving myself crazy. I can't tell if the cramping has got worse or if it's normal. I am afraid to go and check if there is more blood.

I don't know what to do I am 9 weeks today and was just starting to allow myself to get excited

I'm actually wishing my weekend away as my scan is on Wednesday!

Are you telling the world straight away after 12 week scan?

I hate telling people! I find it so embarrassing. There are a couple of groups of friends who I can't wait to tell.

I'm running out of clothes to wear too. What kind of things are you all wearing? Maternity is too big but my clothes are tight!

@winter138 don't panic. Contact midwife or EPU x

Agreed @winter138 call your epu and see what they say. Chances are it is absolutely nothing to worry about but best to get these things checked out. If it makes you feel better I’ve been bleeding for five weeks now and baby is still in there causing havoc

My boobs are normally a C cup- last time I was pregnant they went to an F! My DH isn't too impressed at the mo tho coz they're really sore -I have to wear a sports bra at night otherwise they hurt too much to sleep! Xx

@winter138 try not to panic, probably nothing to worry about if it’s only a tiny bit.

@plipliop I know what you mean, I feel a bit embarrassed about telling people too. I think we’ll be telling most of our friends more or less straight away once we’ve had our 12 week scan, will probably just text people!

@DinoGreen we have had a 10 year gap and I think people will be surprised!

A few people who we have told have already wrongly assumed it wasn't planned for that reason.

Ooh, can I get a gender guess on mine, please? This was 10+3 but measuring 10+5!

plipplop we’ve pretty much told everyone now, I am very clearly pregnant as you can see in second image and most people knew we were doing IVF so it wasn’t like we were able to go ‘ we aren’t going to talk about it for 10 weeks and ignore my body’

Hi all, survived my week in a tent! Need to catch up with the thread.

Still being sick but not as much. Scan a week on Monday which I'm more nervous than excited for 😔.

@Bentley111 oh god, I feel for you! I've already said no visitors in the hospital and not for a few days after/a week. Our DHs just don't seem to understand do they?

@MoominMantra I'm having at scan on 20th July for when I'm 16+3 to find out the gender. I can't wait til 20 weeks, I wanna start buying things!

@DinoGreen good luck for your scan! Looking forward to seeing it!

@plipliop mines on Tuesday and also wishing time away. I think we will announce it at the weekend as I think it we haven't had a call by then it means bloods are okay. Done days no matter what I wear I'm uncomfortable, but I mostly wear joggers atm, haven't worn jeans in months!

@winter138 how horrible for you, hopefully it's just an irritation in your cervix but agree that you should give the EPU or midwife a call.

@Missmonkeypenny I'm guessing boy for yours! I might write my predictions down to see if they're any good!

@Missmonkeypenny such a cute bump and lovely scan photo. I would guess boy by skull. But 10 + 5 is a bit early for nub asvfar as i can tell it can change up to week 14.
@winter138 i would phone your midwife and get referred for a scan just to be safe x

Wow @Missmonkeypenny that’s amazing you’ve got such a bump already! I feel huge and I know you show earlier second time round but I’m just looking chubby really, not really noticeable as a bump yet.

@plipliop that must be annoying people assuming it’s an accident!

I haven’t told anyone yet except my best friend and then 2 friends from my NCT group who just guessed because we’d been planning a night out for cocktails for ages and then all of a sudden I turned up and wasn’t drinking so it was so obvious. All being well with my scan this morning, we’re going to tell both sets of parents and siblings later today - we’re going to a family wedding next weekend so again it would have been so obvious when I’m not drinking at that, but I wanted to have the early scan first to check everything’s looking ok before I tell them.
