Onto thread four already! Wow we like a chat!

EDD 7/01/20 with DS2

@MoominMantra - yes CVS is taking cells from the placenta and usually done between weeks 11-13 Amnio is taking cells from the amniotic fluid and usually done between weeks 14-17 - sometimes CVS can't be done due to the position of the placenta if it is low or towards the back. At my scan they said mine was at the front and high so if it's not moved it's should be fine on Monday! Lovely scans everyone! Xx

Feeling really nauseous again today. Have had a big nap and eaten but can't shake it.

Thinking of Chinese take away later which will be kill or cure I think.

I'm in bed with all the blinds down and it's a beautiful day out there 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Bentley111 it's my DH that doesn't seem to understand. Our scan is on MILs birthday and he's said we'll go round afterwards to show her but I'm like, what if it's bad news? And he just thinks I'm being silly!

I was like that @DaisyMay25 my 10 year old dd is sooooo excited and I was worried how she'll feel if anything was wrong.

@MoominMantra I'm terrified to see the screen, I might just not look til they confirm it's all fine.

I've got as far as making a wish list on amazon though to try remain a little optimistic

Oh @DaisyMay25 thats interesting. I cant work out if my placenta is left or right. As it is right along the bottom, some on the left and sone on the right... would live you opinion was an abdominal ultrasound at 8weeks!

I had a nosebleed today, I remember having nosebleeds the first time too!

@mrscatmad31i had nosebleeds with all my pregnancies apart from this one!

@DaisyMay25 I feel the exact same! I've looked everywhere and seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks lowers the miscarriage risk to 1.6-2% depending on where you look but I'm still not totally comforted. I haven't mentally invested yet as a self protection thing.

Sick again tonight. Same as @plipliop I had a wild day of watching "The Originals" on Netflix and sleeping. Feel a tad guilty but 🤷‍♀️ will be ordering fish & chips which will either be fab or horrendous.

Has Chinese which has taken away the nausea mostly.

Hi all hope your pregnancies are all going well, very exciting! I had my 12 week scan this week and am so desperate to know the gender I am so impatient anyone want to take a guess? I've heard about nub theory but not entirely sure how it all works! TIA x

Wow @maym what an amazing scan photo so clear. I posted on the last page about nub theory. I really have no idea about it though. Ive looked into the skull theory aswel 🙈 ive looked at them all if im honest im at home with my 2 year old all day so googling gender prediction methods has become my hobby 😂
I would guess girl going by what i have read on google but as we all know they are not always reliable x

@MoominMantra yes I was quite pleased with the scan photo.. mind you this did take several attempts and some funny dances in the ultrasound room to get baby moving and see the baby properly haha!

@megganonion thank you!I have also read about the theories but I just cannot tell with my scan photo! Can't wait to get my 20 week scan and have it confirmed!!! X

@maym i have my 12 week friday and my birthday is saturday, ive asked my mum to book me a gender scan for start of august as my birthday gift all being well friday. I couldnt wait to the 20 week scan, the private clinic does just gender scans for £35 and will do them from 12 weeks. With ds2 i was able to predict with nub theory, my other 2 ds where both lying with their backs during the 12 weeks scans no matter what i tried they wouldnt budge! It really shows now they are both really stubborn 😂
I found out with all three of my boys the gender as i wanted to start buying and didnt want to waste money on neutral things. I have so many boys clothes put away and would need to do a big clear out if this one was a girl. I did keep the larger items more neutral though. X

@megganonion I see what you mean! It's not really on either side, more so on the left maybe? So boy? I'm interested to see your next scan!

@Mirana I know that odds are tiny but it doesn't help does it? When's your scan?

@megganonion aw good luck !! Yes I might look into booking a private scan as I'm just so impatient I want to start buying clothes etc! I do love neutral clothes whites/greys but would be nice to add a touch of pink/blue! Good luck with everything!!

@maym -lovely pic looks like baby has a hand in the air waving!! Got my scan Monday (at 11+3) and will find out the gender 1-5 days later when I get the CVS results!! Xx

This is my baby at 10+6. Any ideas on gender? It's not hugely clear though.
