@megganonion thank you, I had it week 5,6,7 and nothing since now I’m nearly 10 weeks and it’s come from no where. Hopefully that’s all is it is just the cervix change. I have a scan on Sunday so I guess I don’t have long to worry for 😊

anitagreen · 21/06/2019 15:27

@BowiesJumper ah see I had one at 8 weeks and all was fine but I'm really nervous still. I'm struggling to eat also I'm not being sick but the constant nausea is awful I'm living of tea and bread I'm so tired and hungry 😭

plipliop · 21/06/2019 17:57

I am the sandwich queen.

So glad it's Friday 😭😂😅🤤🥰🤨😫
Feeling all the emotions.
Eating all the sandwiches 🥪

Anon120 · 21/06/2019 18:11

@plipliop know exactly what you mean 😂 there's something about sandwiches at the moment that are hitting the spot

plipliop · 21/06/2019 18:13

Sandwich and crisps...

Soph43 · 21/06/2019 18:29

Just as i suspected, shit 12 week scan again. 3.9mm nt measurement so booked in for a rescan and cvs with consultant on tuesday.

Absolutely devestated.

MummyBearBoo · 21/06/2019 19:11

@primarywoodle -oh hun I'm sorry but the NT measurement doesn't sound too bad think mine was 4.1 in my last pregnancy -the consultant did say it doesn't necessarily mean anything some have a large measurement but nothing is wrong - your CVS is the day after mine! Xx

plipliop · 21/06/2019 19:28

@primarywoodle hope you're ok x

primarywoodle · 21/06/2019 19:34

mummy was it a happy ending? My rainbow daughter's was 3.48 so just under "normal" but still high, this feels much scarier

My angel had 5.5mm but with hydrops and a cystic hygroma aswell, its just the raised measurement this time.

Fingers crossed for your cvs too xx

MummyBearBoo · 21/06/2019 19:56

It wasn't but the baby had the genetic condition I have to have CVS for which it is 50% risk everytime so I had to have TFMR this condition is unrelated to NT -the baby had Down syndrome too but like I said the neck on my baby was much thicker than yours and the consultant still said there is more chance of it being unaffected than being affected- I was unlucky!!
Fingers crossed for you!! I know quite a few people who did have happy endings too!! Xx

anitagreen · 21/06/2019 20:45

My daughter has come down with chicken pox badly I've had them as a child extremely but now I'm worried the baby will get sick or something?

Bluebelltulip · 21/06/2019 21:04

@anitagreen I spoke to my midwife about this a few weeks ago. If you are immune there isn't any risk. She did get my blood tested just to be sure but most people that have had it are immune.

Cannyhandleit · 21/06/2019 21:18

@primarywoodle did they do bloods? I take it you haven't had the results of those yet. Try not to worry until you get bloods back and you have a clearer picture, believe me I know that is easier said than done.

MoominMantra · 21/06/2019 21:25

Ooh I've heard about this nub theory. But I don't know what I'm looking for!

primarywoodle · 21/06/2019 21:48

anita ive heard the same - as long as youve had it or have immunity baby wont be affected

canny not had those results yet no but i will be high risk

I know i sound like a brat but i just wanted one scan where i dont have a mental breakdown and get told my baby is probably going to die or be very poorly, just once. Very very fortunate to be in this position with a healthy little girl upstairs in bed though. It destroyed me first time when i had no living dc

mynameisMrG · 21/06/2019 22:10

I can’t imagine what you are going through @primarywoodle, fingers crossed for a positive outcome x

@primarywoodle I hope you'll be okay probably not a help but everyone on this board is really supportive feel free to vent any time they'll always be someone on to reply and listen x

MummyBearBoo · 21/06/2019 22:29

@primarywoodle -have you ever had a CVS before? Xx

Botanica · 21/06/2019 23:31

Evening all!

I've been lurking silently since the first thread, too terrified to believe that this pregnancy would be the one but reached a major milestone today so am absolutely delighted and finally starting to believe, hence finally stepping out of the shadows!

I'm 41 and hopefully this will be baby number one after previous losses including an MMC at eleven weeks last year. I've also had four rounds of IVF in our quest, three rounds of fibroid surgery and recent cone biopsy surgery on my cervix.

So you can imagine it was an absolute miracle to discover I was pregnant naturally after all of that!

I had my NIPT screening on Monday at 11 weeks and today we got the phone call to tell us everything had come back low risk so we are so so relieved!

Not only that but we also opted to find out the sex of the baby, and guess what, we are having a GIRL!

Bursting with joy right now, couldn't be happier!

MummyBearBoo · 22/06/2019 00:02

Congratulations @Botanica xx

DaisyMay25 · 22/06/2019 00:15

@Soph43 I'm guessing girl based on the skull!

@primarywoodle sorry it's been a bad day for you, hopefully Tuesday gives you answer and that the results come back quickly. You don't sound like a brat at all. Vent away!

@Botanica congratulations! That's so lovely knowing already it's a girl!

Mothercare have a huge sale on! Think me and DH are gonna but sone stuff next weekend after our scan (all being well of course)

Kinsters · 22/06/2019 01:05

Soph43 beautiful picture! I have no idea when it comes to nubs or skulls lol.

primarywoodleso sorry that the scan didn't go better, you must be so worried. Hopefully you don't have to wait too long to get a definitive answer either way.

Botanica that's amazing! Congratulations! What a lot you've been through x

Daisy my scan is today (Saturday) morning. I live in Malaysia so when it looks like I'm posting really late it's cause we're 7 hours ahead here lol.

Kinsters · 22/06/2019 02:25

Scan went well! Baby was in there measuring exactly correct, moving around and a good heartbeat. It was so lovely to see. We couldn't get a very good view cause he had his back facing upwards but my dr turned on the 3D ultrasound - looked so weird! It was really cool to see it wiggling around in 3D though.

Now just a couple of weeks wait for the NIPT results.
