@AstroKate lovely scan! I'm not sure about nub theory but the head is stacked so I'm guessing boy!

@Sweetooth92 that's very rubbish! I think that's pretty bad of them!

@Bentley111 oh god, that with my sciatica type pain (it's not sciatica it's to do with my muscles) I'm glad I'll be going on maternity at about 34 weeks!

Sweetooth92 · 20/06/2019 20:16

@Bentley111 we are Nottingham. They didn’t say anything about private being an option-didn’t think to look into it but will do. The images from the scan are awful too-despite seeing better on screen so I think the sonographer may just have been a little newer to the job than those we had with our son as they were really clear. She did say it looked okay and she wasn’t concerned but it’s not the same as having the tests done.
It’s just one of those things so we won’t worry too much

mynameisMrG · 20/06/2019 20:17

Congratulations to all the scanners today 😊 can’t believe we are all heading towards the 12 week mark. Never thought we would get there!

Not been on the thread much for a while. 12 week scan tomorrow - have yet to have a positive one (this will be my 3rd with one live child so far) so im absolutely terrified. Hope to come back tomorrow with positive news - would be nice for a change!

Congrats to all the positive scans, sweet i am also nottingham and they have been amazing with me amd my history so if youre concerned shout loudly and im sure theyll rescan or do a 16 weeker

Sweetooth92 · 20/06/2019 20:30

@primarywoodle thankyou. Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow and the nerves aren’t too terrible tonight.

I’ll give them a call tomorrow and see if there’s anything they can do. There’s no harm in asking, we already have our 20 week booked in so I assumed it was a definite no go.

Bentley111 · 20/06/2019 20:33

Ouch @DaisyMay25 I can't imagine that plus this 🙈

I'm a worrier @Sweetooth92 but am really shocked that they didn't offer to rescan. You'd have thought they'd prioritise screening for abnormalities above all else!

AstroKate · 20/06/2019 20:53

Thanks everyone. Good luck to those scanning tomorrow.

I don't understand the nub theory either-have to wait til 20weeks

Symptoms have defo eased off the last week and half which had me petrified that something was wrong. So for those of you commenting you're worried about symptoms reducing-mine all but disappeared last week.

Another Thursday, another gain at slimming world 🤦🏻‍♀️ God I need to get a grip or I won’t fit in my car!!

Lovely scan pic @AstroKate!

One more day of work. This week has really dragged for me. Come on weekend, and scan on Sunday!

mrscatmad31 · 20/06/2019 22:25

Loving the scan photos! Still seems a long way off for me, haven't had my booking in appointment yet

MummyBearBoo · 20/06/2019 23:10

Lovely scan photos -
I need relax a bit coz I know stress isn't good for the baby - my parents have said they'll come up to mine if I find out on Monday when the results should be due so that makes me feel a bit better- coz I've had one of each the emotions are like total elation or total devastation so it's extreme either way!!
Sorry I'll stop bringing everyone down now glad everyone is progressing well so far
I've recently been feeling much better since I get towards 11 weeks I actually got thru today without a nap - my boobs are still really sore but apart from that I actually feel ok! Xx

Kinsters · 21/06/2019 02:23

Bentley my back pain started at about 10 weeks if I remember correctly, that was hips though and the lower back pain was a bit later.

I've seen a prenatal yoga for back pain video on YouTube which I'm going to try out.

AstroKate such a lovely scan picture!

MummyBearBoo can't imagine how stressful it must be for you. Do you know roughly how long you'll be waiting for the results? Everything crossed for you x

12 week scan for me tomorrow and I really hope everything is going ok in there. This is my 5th day in a row with no bleeding so hopefully that's a good sign!

Sunshine3105 · 21/06/2019 07:55

MummyBearBoo · 21/06/2019 08:16

@Kinsters glad your bleeding has stopped!
Results take between 3-5 working days and I know they are going to drag I can also find out the sex of my baby then too on the plus side not that that'll matter if I can't progress with the pregnancy!!
@Sunshine3105 -lovely scan picture! Xx

SylviaUndata · 21/06/2019 09:13

I JUST WENT 24 HOURS WITHOUT THROWING UP! 🙂
For the first time in over four weeks. I hope this is getting past the peak rather than a brief reprieve.

megganonion · 21/06/2019 09:14

@AstroKate congrats on ur scan photos they are lovely. Ive no idea on nub or skull theories tho 🙈

DaisyMay25 · 21/06/2019 10:18

@Kinsters as you posted so late not sure if you mean your scan is today or tomorrow, good luck either way! Glad the bleeding has stopped!

Loving all these scans and lovely updates!! 😍 keep them coming!

Mirana · 21/06/2019 10:47

Ahhh yay, lovely scans 😍😍

I'm glad you guys mentioned back pain, 8+5 today and had some mild back ache all week at the base of my spine. Also weird pains where my hip bones are, I feel much more normal now. I do have joint hypermobility so I'm more sensitive to joint pains and aches but that's really calmed me down.

Mirana · 21/06/2019 10:50

Also my sickness and nausea is still there, but it's way less than last week. I still heave at bad smells, but I tend to have a bad day, then a few good days, then a bad day. Seems early for things to peter off but maybe my body is getting a grip! Especially since bean yesterday was totally fine. I have had nausea literally since week 3 so I am very grateful!!

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 21/06/2019 11:29

My nausea and headaches are still really bad. 10 weeks today, hoping this is the peak and I’ll feel better soon. I’m in tears most days cos it’s exhausting feeling so ill all the time. Makes it hard to be happy about the pregnancy which sounds terrible as I know how lucky I am but I’m fed up feeling shit 😞

anitagreen · 21/06/2019 12:09

I've got my 12 week scan next Wednesday I've been okay throughout just really nervous now until I get there and see the baby anyone felt really scared before theirs?x

MoominMantra · 21/06/2019 12:22

I've had a terrible week. I've been on training for work since Monday and yesterday developed a really nasty UTI. This obviously causes stomach pains which nobody wants when you're pregnant 😩

The doctor gave me antibiotics. I can't wait to go home to bed tbh

BowiesJumper · 21/06/2019 13:53

@anitagreen I'm scared about mine! Not had an early scan so this will be the first chance to check if all is well!

beth3735 · 21/06/2019 14:42

Is there any reason I would randomly spot at nearly 10 weeks? I spot for 3 weeks and had an early scan at 7 weeks all was ok. I had a scan on Wednesday and all was still ok. Can wearing jeans too tight cause it or overdoing the lifting at work? Bit worried now 😩

megganonion · 21/06/2019 14:59

@beth3735 i had spotting in all my pregnancies around the 8/9/10 week mark, was always put down to cervical changes as ive been told in the past i have cervical erosion and pregnacy irritates it. X
