Onto thread four already! Wow we like a chat!

EDD 7/01/20 with DS2

@DinoGreen @Missmonkeypenny glad to hear other experiences of WTTW! I just get paranoid.. didn't want to spend loads on one on Harley st but also don't want to end up with something sub- par.. I'm a mixture of nerves and excitement. Did you get pictures printed?

@DaisyMay25 that's what I'm hoping. I don't think anything works in honesty... they take the edge of but it's just so miserable feeling so ill all the time 😩 I know I shouldn't complain and after 2 MCs I am unbelievably grateful just to be pregnant but it's really bloody hard!!!

Anon they print one photo for you which you choose but we paid an extra tenner to have all of the photos and videos taken of baby moving ( baby was moving loads! I was 10+3 at mine but measuring two days ahead) and now they’re all on an app on my phone

Afternoon all!!
Finally got a date for my 12 weeks scan its next friday 28th, lady on the reception desk wasnt best pleases when she had to call me at the doctors request to get me in for scan and blood work! (Same ignorant lady as last week😂)
I will be 11+6, which is just perfect and exactly when i wanted it for as hubby is bringing me away for my birthday that weekend.
My symptoms have pretty much gone, breasts a little tender but nausea hasnt raised its head in a few days and my skin is clearing up. Still having crazy dreams, i dreamt that my dog dug up a dead body in the back garden last night 🙈

My GOD I've had a day of it!! Had cramping for 2 days and last night had some spotting. 8+4 today, complete panic ensued. Went and sat in the EPU for 3 hours waiting for an emergency scan. They tested my urine, no infection but it had traces of blood in it, was certain it was all over. Had emergency scan and bean was happily sat in there, heart beating away. They didnt measure the heart rate (apparently they're just happy to see one) but bean measured exactly 8+4 today. At my 6+5 scan it only measured 6+1 so its caught up to my exact date perfectly. Been put on bed rest but I'm so relieved. They did warn anything can happen, but today they are not concerned. Just hoping and praying to reach 12w scan (15th July) and all be okay. So so grateful that today was okay.

Glad your scan was ok @Mirana that must have been worrying.

What a worry @Mirana ! You poor thing. So glad all is well! I wonder why they said bed rest - does over exertion really make a difference? Just asking as I've had the odd bit of brown spotting (although I did last time too and all was well).

My cramping is stress and anxiety related, and I've found its worsened with exercise (even changing the bed). She said that the cramping is a sign I'm over doing it and to just stop and relax. Theres no signs of bleeding in my uterus so the current assumption is that it's from everything stretching, moving around and the cramping irritating my cervix. They did say theres no promises still but everything looks good and exactly on time. Have discovered the local fish&chips shop delivers so am quite happy to take to my bed for the next few weeks!!!

Glad scan was ok @Mirana must have such a worry!!
I'm literally sooooo scared coz my genetic test is on Monday and I can't think about anything else -even more worried that I'll be on my own with DD when I get the results coz if it's bad news I doubt I'll be able to hold my shit together but I don't want to totally lose it in front of her!!!
11 weeks tomorrow!! Xx

DS1 is 12 today!
It's so weird thinking that this baby is not born and my boy is so grown up.
Facebook had some flashbacks to when he was 3 and he was so cute. I can't wait to have another little one running around.

Feeling tired and only really get sick towards the end of the week when I'm worn out.
It's getting hard to hide my tummy and I think people might have noticed that I'm eating more and not drinking coffee. Can't wait for scan next week. Hope everything is ok.

Excited to be 11 weeks tomorrow with you @MummyBearBoo can't imagine how nervous you're feeling.

Having the worst lower back pain this evening. Sat on the sofa with a hot water bottle behind me... @Kinsters how far were you when your back pain started? Is anyone else having it and got any remedies?

@Bentley111 I thought it was just me with the back pain! It's very annoying! No remedies I'm afraid of it gets worse I'll have to ask the midwife or go for remedies

Painful isn't it @DaisyMay25? I've had a "bad back" before but this is right at the base of my spine. Where's yours?

I had physio in my previous pregnancy for back and hip pain and it helped a lot.

@Bentley111 base of my back too, I'm guessing it's things stretching and moving I can only guess this is just the start too!

Sorry to barge in at the end of the day with scan photos... 12 week scan and all perfect. Good the results I was hoping for on all bloods too (as I have been heavily reminded of my very old age of 38 😂)

Now trying to understand nub theory...no idea! Any takers?

I also had our scan today, pulled forward to 12+2 with an EDD of 31/12. Unfortunately we couldn’t get a decent enough measurement for the screening and they don’t offer a rescan so I wouldn’t count on a second offering if unsuccessful unfortunately. We can have a blood test for downs but nothing for the others now as baby wasn’t co operating!

@DaisyMay25 same spot then... just spoke to my DM and she said she had it with both DSis and me from 14 weeks, non stop 😩
