@NoMoreFastCars82 so sorry for your loss. Take care of yourself. Send you loads of hugs x Thanks

Mirana · 19/06/2019 13:16

@NoMoreFastCars82 I'm absolutely gutted for you 😓 I'm so sorry. Nothing compares to the shock, it's awful. Thinking of you Flowers

Kinsters · 19/06/2019 14:12

NoMoreFastCars be kind to yourself and give yourself time to grieve. Are you able to take time off work? When I had my MMC last year I was so shattered, physically and emotionally, and really needed time to rest. I tried to go back to work a couple of days after my surgery but I couldn't manage it and ended up just taking a whole weeks leave and sitting on the sofa playing video games.

Bentley111 · 19/06/2019 14:15

@NoMoreFastCars82 I'm so, so sorry for your loss. Echoing what everyone else says, take time off work and rest. You'll need it both physically and mentally. Be kind to yourself and do not blame yourself for anything Thanks sending you lots of love xx

NoMoreFastCars82 · 19/06/2019 14:32

I'm going to call my boss and tell him I've got consult Monday and d&c next Friday and Cos I spend majority of my day in and out of a car and customers it's not a good idea to be out in the car when I could have an MC start at any point or also may have complications before I get to the D&C xx
The week after my op we are in Orkney islands so I have a weeks holiday booked and will be able to relax and eat and be away which will help xx

SleepingStandingUp · 19/06/2019 14:42

I'm so sorry FastCars, I'd def see if doctor can sign you off for a week. Being customer facing as well is crap and depending on your clients could be quite triggering and confronting too. Take care of yourself x

megganonion · 19/06/2019 14:55

peanutbaba · 19/06/2019 17:02

@NoMoreFastCars82 I'm so sorry to hear your sad news, I can't imagine how you must be feeling. As the others have said, definitely take time out for yourself. Hope to see your name on these boards again very soon 😘 xx

plipliop · 19/06/2019 18:59

@NoMoreFastCars82 you are so brave. I hope you and your partner can find some time to process and grieve. All the best for the future to you both xxx

NoMoreFastCars82 · 19/06/2019 19:08

Thank you all xxx

My dad has been here this afternoon and we had a good cry and chat about what happened with mums pregnancies, as I knew mum had had MC's a lot. Turns out mum had to have a cervical stitch to have me and she also carried one child to nearly term who didn't make it after 8 days in the hospital xx

So knowing this going forward gives me something to work with xx

I've taken up too much of this thread today and we need some positive news, scans and things from you ladies too!! xx

Chembecky · 19/06/2019 19:36

@NoMoreFastCars82 sorry for your loss. I went for my 12 week scan today and I was so nervous. My baby is healthy and the correct size - although it was a bit difficult to measure as it was hanging out upside down! And I was too-ing and fro-ing to the loo - I was told to do a half wee?!?! Here is a blurry pic :)

NoMoreFastCars82 · 19/06/2019 19:42

@Chembecky this is what I meant ☺️ huge congrats!!! and I am over the moon for you!!! Lol at half wee, bloody hard that when you're in full flow lol xx

DaisyMay25 · 19/06/2019 19:43

@Chembecky beautiful scan! Glad all went well. I love the half wee, like I'll know when my bladder is half empty...

Chembecky · 19/06/2019 19:47

It was a trainee who told me to do it. Then the other sonographer was like "blimey your bladder filled up quickly" and I had to awkwardly say I was told to do a half wee....

CatRash · 19/06/2019 20:53

Glad your scan went well @Chembecky. Reminds me of my 20 week scan where my DD was in a funny position - the sonograph made me wee, jump in the spot, go have lunch and a sugary drink, go for a walk and absolutely NOTHING would make my DD move. I had to go back the following week for another scan so they could get all the measurements. She's a pretty lazy toddler now tbh so hasn't changed much 😂

I'm craving milk so badly. I don't usually drink much milk but it's all I want this week 🤤 How's others cravings going?

SleepingStandingUp · 19/06/2019 20:57

Every time i move or twist i seem to pull a muscle, right low in my tummy by my C Sec scar, i actually cried lying on the bed with DS who is 4 earlier because it hurt that bad. So fed up, i feel like i can barely move without fear of pulling it.
Oh and i need to pack for camping tomorrow....

Lovely pic Chem

DaisyMay25 · 19/06/2019 21:59

Oh no @SleepingStandingUp I hope it eases up for you!

These hormones are getting to me today, I feel like I could cry any second!
But I feel miles better today, almost back to normal apart from still being exhausted and dizzy but I'll take that as long as the nausea stays away!

I've read that is normal for my symptoms to just go though? Something to do with the placenta taking over at this stage?

winter138 · 19/06/2019 22:20

I got my scan through today and it's for 2 weeks away when I'll be 10+6. Is that too early do you think? Excited to see if all is ok sooner rather than later (first baby and we haven't had an early scan) but also worried we aren't out of the woods at that stage yet. I rang and they have no other appts until 14 wks.

What do you ladies think?

Chips84 · 19/06/2019 22:25

@NoMoreFastCars82 very sorry for your loss. Take time to grieve and look after yourself. Big hug xx

@Chembecky glad all went well today, what a lovely scan

SleepingStandingUp · 19/06/2019 22:27

@winter138 are you having the screening for the trisomies? If so, yes you're to early. Go along anyway, they'll date you and if you're having the screening they'll fit you in. You get 2 for the price of 1. Mine is 11+2 which is the earliest you can have it i beleive, gutted as i was hoping for a cheeky freebie haha

winter138 · 19/06/2019 22:34

@sleepingstandingup I have absolutely no idea. First I've even heard of that! It'll be my first appt, they do booking in and 12 wk scan at the same time. Apart from achey boobs, some tiredness, serious bloating and a constant metallic taste in my mouth, that's it for my symptoms. Which makes me worry!! Want to know all is ok but have resisted urge for an early scan xx

DaisyMay25 · 19/06/2019 22:40

@winter138 looks like the NT scan can be done from 10+3 but I'm not so sure about bloods

DaisyMay25 · 19/06/2019 22:44

@winter138 all the info about it is here. You don't have to have it, it's completely optional
