Good luck today @NoMoreFastCars82 Thanks

Bentley111 · 19/06/2019 06:52

Lovely pic @beth3735

So pleased the bleeding is easing @Kinsters that's such fab news!

Good luck today @NoMoreFastCars82 - what time is your scan?

This morning is the first morning I've not woken up and needed to be sick right away... felt nice for about 20 mins and then I started to panic because I haven't been sick. Ffs 😩
Hoping it's just the placenta kicking in and doing its job!

Bentley111 · 19/06/2019 06:53

Sorry @NoMoreFastCars82 half asleep still, can see the time in your post 🙈

NoMoreFastCars82 · 19/06/2019 06:57

@Bentley111 you're ok, I've been up since 5 lol xx sleep just wasn't an option and back on google I went asking if due dates could be 2 weeks apart because they estimate things wrong in first place xx

I suppose I'm trying to arm myself with as much info as possible so I feel confident that this is going to have a positive outcome xx

Pregnancy test was positive as normal this morning, not sure why I bothered, perhaps for my sanity I needed something to be positive this morning xx

I've had severe nausea and aversions already this morning ... all fun that bit xx

Kinsters · 19/06/2019 07:25

Oo Bentley hopefully this is the beginning of the end of your sickness and nausea! You're a week behind me and it was about a week ago I started to really notice a reduction in nausea/food aversions. It is nerve wracking though.

Ann334 · 19/06/2019 07:35

@NoMoreFastCars82 got everything crossed for you today, and so glad you are getting better care now.

I’ve got my bloods today, I’m A neg so abit nervous. But also don’t have my scan until 16th July so it’s just nice to have an appointment regardless. It’l be my first ever visit to a hospital (appart from the GUM clinic🤦🏼‍♀️)
Just to clear that up I wasn’t a massive ho in my early years...I just didn’t trust any fella I ever went out with. Sensible ho?!

Bentley111 · 19/06/2019 07:38

It must be horrendous for you @NoMoreFastCars82 I'm not surprised you've not slept. Glad you're feeling sick (in the nicest way) that's got to count for something. When I lost my baby last year I lost all of my symptoms around the time it stopped growing so it does sound positive xx

I am hoping so @Kinsters 🤞🏼 that's really good to hear. Are you able to eat normally now? It is so nerve wracking - crazy how you complain when you have symptoms then complain when they go 🙈😂

mynameisMrG · 19/06/2019 07:46

Good luck this morning @NoMoreFastCars82, will be thinking of you.

That’s really good your bleeding has stopped @Kinsters, hopefully that will be the end of it for you.

I slept for 11 hours last night. First time I’ve slept more than 6 hours in about three months. Was glorious!

Kinsters · 19/06/2019 08:07

Bentley yeah I'm mostly eating normally now, sometimes still get some nausea but I don't dread meal times anymore. I was annoyed the other day, we met FIL's new girlfriend (this is the second time I've ever met her and the first time was before MIL died) and she said to me "do you have a problem with eating? You're so skinny and you ate so little at lunch" yeah lady it's because I've got a stinking cold and I'm just getting my appetite back after being nauseous for weeks!! Who says that to someone the first time you meet them?! I'm sure she must know I'm pregnant as well, although maybe FIL didn't tell her.

Haha sorry for the rant, that just really pissed me off.

mynameisMrG 11 hours sounds great! How come you've not been sleeping? Pregnancy insomnia?

AstroKate · 19/06/2019 08:07

Good luck today @NoMoreFastCars82

Will be thinking of you and keeping everything crossed for a positive result x

Bentley111 · 19/06/2019 08:11

That's really good news @Kinsters - I'm so excited to be able to eat salad or a nice bowl of veggies and salmon instead of beige food!
Omg how rude!!! Part of me hopes she does know you're pregnant - imagine if you were recovering from a really horrible illness or an eating disorder. That's awful.
Hopefully your FIL sees sense and finds someone much nicer 🙈

Kinsters · 19/06/2019 08:16

I know!! I think it's partly a cultural thing but even for Asian culture that comment is taking it a bit far. DH has said he'll see it as his cue to take a similar approach with her about how she parents her daughter...it would be funny if he did but I also think I'd die of embarrassment!

Good luck to everyone with appointments today! Hope you're on your way NoMoreFastCars!

Kinsters · 19/06/2019 08:17

And yes to no more beige food!

karryk · 19/06/2019 08:23

Best wishes @NoMoreFastCars82 ❤️

I'm so tired today (10w1d) I just about managed to drag myself to the bus stop only to see the bus go past (nooooooo Sad)

Last night's dinner was a jacket potato and a packet of prawn cocktail crisps. Yay for health. Grin

DinoGreen · 19/06/2019 08:33

Good luck @NoMoreFastCars82 I’ll be thinking of you.

I haven’t even had any morning sickness yet I’ve still been eating so badly. DH keeps suggesting takeaways and I go along with it because I’m tired in the evenings after a full day of work and getting ds to bed and can’t be bothered to cook, but I’m really feeling sluggish now and fed up of eating crap food. I’m going to go to the supermarket at lunchtime and buy stuff to cook something nice and healthy for dinner tonight!

mynameisMrG · 19/06/2019 08:35

Yeah I think so @Kinsters that and I keep dropping off for an hour when I get home from work so by ten I’m wide awake!

All the nausea magically stops at 12 weeks right?? 1 week 6 days and counting

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 19/06/2019 08:53

It’s funny how you forget @SleepingStandingUp isn’t it. I definitely didn’t feel this crap when I was pregnant with DD, and by 12 weeks I felt pretty much back to normal. I hope it’s the same this time or I’ll be feeling very sorry for myself 😞

SleepingStandingUp · 19/06/2019 09:02

I had no morning sickness with DS at all, just tiredness but I worked two jobs, so would come home and sleep solid. Now I have a 4 yo who doesn't always sleep and wakes up at 6!!

Even pain with DS weren't this bad, had some at around 7/8 weeks but thry settled. Nothing like the stop me in my tracks pains I had last Friday for example

beth3735 · 19/06/2019 09:26

@NoMoreFastCars82 good luck with your scan today 😊

DaisyMay25 · 19/06/2019 09:40

@NoMoreFastCars82 good luck with your scan!

@Bentley111 did you get your bloods back yet?
My nausea is so much better! It just when I'm hungry I feel sick but that's easily solved and I just have to make sure I eat slowly but last night I didn't have any, I ate a packet of salt and vinegar crisps before bed and I've woken up with no nausea!

I'm 12 weeks today! Can't believe I've made it! Although last night I dreamt I had a mc. I'm hoping the cramps in my dream were just in my dream.

MamaGeordie · 19/06/2019 09:47

@NoMoreFastCars82 good luck for your scan today.

I've been hovering in the background but am a tad useless at keeping up with these threads. I'm part of a December group as my EDD is 1st Jan and we have a Facebook group which is easier to keep up with. Is there one for January? If not maybe it would be good to have one...?

Anyone else due at the beginning of the month? In getting so impatient for my 12 week scan. I'll be 13+1 when I have mine which seems an age away. In 12 weeks today.

DaisyMay25 · 19/06/2019 09:48

@MamaGeordie I'm due 1st Jan too! My scan is on Tuesday, it's a horrible wait isn't it?

MummyBearBoo · 19/06/2019 09:51

I'm 10+5 i don't have a 12 weeks scan coz they scan me as close to 11 weeks as they can as they have to take a sample from the placenta to test for a genetic condition so my scan is Monday too! But I won't post the scan picture unless the results come back ok 4-5 days later coz I always have a picture but put it in an envelope coz I don't want to look at it in case I have to have a TFMR which is what I have to do if baby is affected -it's a 1 in 2 chance either way!! I'll see it on the screen but don't want to get too attached!! My stress levels are thru the roof!! So far I've had 1 of each a healthy DD and aTFMR with a little boy xxx

MummyBearBoo · 19/06/2019 09:52

What time is your scan @NoMoreFastCars82 ? Good luck! Xx
