EDD 7/01/20 with DS2

Hi all! Can I join?

I am due 07/01/2020, first baby! First scan on 2nd July (13weeks)... Feels like a lifetime away! I didn't realise how long these weeks would feel especially when you're desperate to tell people!

Also I've been very tired and nauseous so feel like I've been a bit of a recluse at times. I've heard the second trimester is easier on symptoms? I hope that's right anyway

Just catching up @NoMoreFastCars82 on your dramas. So sorry you're being put through it but was very surprised to read it wasn't even an internal ultrasound so almost certainly a mistake on their part rather than anything wrong! Fingers crossed tomorrow goes well.

I've got my 12 week scan Thursday and am pooping my pants a bit (I could actually do with this as suffering constipation at the moment 😂). Very nervous as most of my symptoms seem to have trailed off this week so hoping to get good news. All was ok at 8 week scan but you never know.

I'll also get the results of all the tests so one more reason not to sleep!!

@AstroKate I think it's the one thing I'm holding onto through this, it wasn't internal and the midwife this morning was like 'wasn't internal? well it should have been at that stage' and then went even more nuts Cos of this woman's inability to date properly xx

So who has their 12 week scan the soonest? Too excited to see everyone's scans!!

My scan isn't until 1/7/19 and the wait is killing me hehe. Just want to tell the world but we're holding off for the all clear.

@peanutbaba thank you xx I'm thinking positive as this afternoon the sickness and nausea are back with a vengeance and my sciatic nerve in my hip is going nuts today and read it's uterus pushing on it and this is a new symptom today so surely that means something xx

@poposaurus I wouldn't mind but after yesterday I haven't a clue! LMP puts me at 10+2 and she said 7w5 TO 8w2 ... confused much, but as we had sex 3 times in 2 weeks after that period and unprotected, she could have been right with 8 also xx I was also having longer cycles as was a week over normal for 2 periods so 8 could be right still xx it's all so confusing! I just want tomorrow to give me that heartbeat and I'll be the happiest person on the planet xx

@NoMoreFastCars82 the midwife you saw today sounds great. When are they doing another scan? Apologies if I've missed that 🙈

@MrsPandigital mine is 27/06... a week on Thursday. Mixture of nerves and excitement... I'd say 90% nerves though so far!

My dad just rang, that was a difficult conversation but he's told me to rest and be positive xx

My scan is on the 26th June. 1 week and 1 day away 😬

@NoMoreFastCars82 that's great they're not keeping you waiting too long, appreciate 2 days is probably an eternity after what happened though. Sounds like you're in the best hands with a dr present too xx

Still no idea when my scan is, Hope the letter comes through soon, I imagine it will be second week in July. Welcome @peanutbaba and congratulations on your pregnancy 🙂

I’m probably just weird but I’m actually dreading telling people that I’m pregnant. I find it so cringey and hate the attention being on me so wish I could just skip past that bit 🙈

9+2 weeks today, everything was all as it should be with a heart rate of 168. My impatience got the better of me and made me book the appointment for today 💕

@NoMoreFastCars82 thank you, I still have to have my scan that’s booked for Sunday as my partner couldn’t make today as it was spur of the moment 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 I love seeing people’s scan pictures, especially now our babies are looking more like babies 💕

I've got my 12 week scan on Monday. I'm sure me and my dh will be really nervous when it comes to scan day, scans are always nerve-wracking since our mmc.

@plipliop mine is the same day! I'm nervous it's next Wednesday come round fast x

Has anyone gone of food majorly? Since being pregnant I now don't like Chinese, hunters chicken, any seasoning, hash browns, mushrooms, most veg, I haven't had a proper dinner in about a month. We do love though golden graham cereal, sour sweets and juice

@anitagreen regardless what's going on I'm still here if you need an ear xx I really appreciate how amazing you've all been through this and I don't think I'd have gotten through the day with my sanity as in tact as it is without you all xx

So looks like the group will get a lot busier next week with scan photos. How exciting! 😊😊😊
