@Cindy61 🤦🏻‍♀️

My cold is finally starting to go.
I still have really blocked ears and nose but don't feel like I'm swallowing glass anymore.

Nausea has completely gone now.
Still keep wondering if I'm pg still. I was sick much later with my boys.

Scan 1 week tomo! Excited and nervous.

@NoMoreFastCars82 hope you managed to rest.

How is everyone today?

plipliop · 18/06/2019 07:07

@DaisyMay25 my midwife said to keep taking prenatal vitamins for the whole pregnancy.

mynameisMrG · 18/06/2019 07:28

@DaisyMay25 there is no harm in taking folic acid so I would take it until your next appointment/scan and then ask when to stop taking it.

@plipliop a little, though I feel exhausted and pretty depressed this morning xx

My nausea calmed for a week then came back again bad for a whole weekend so I don't think there's always a normal pattern xx

mynameisMrG · 18/06/2019 08:47

I’m going to rip my own face off this morning. My eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows are so itchy!!!! This is why I hate the summer

@NoMoreFastCars82 to be completely honest with you i have no idea, he was her 6th pregnancy and she is quite religious, she said she just knew they had made a mistake that she knew her own body and could feel she was still pregnant.
Try an get an internal scan today, our bodies are stange and can take some longer to ovulate and implant than others.
I know exactly wen i got pregnant with this little bean as we only dtd 1 time in april, and it was on day 6 of my cycle, so i know i conceived between day 6-11. Which is very early but.
Hope you get better news this morning, we will all be thinking of you x

DaisyMay25 · 18/06/2019 09:09

@NoMoreFastCars82 yeah they did, it was a lot of the moving the wand about. Hopefully it's an internal scan for you today.

Thanks everyone, I've got my scan a week today (I'll be 12+6) so I'll just take them until that and see if they say anything.

Anyone else going to have an early gender scan? I'm going to book mine for 20th July

MummyBearBoo · 18/06/2019 09:14

My water retention bump is causing problems a lady I see on the school run said oh you're having another baby how lovely so I had to kind of make her aware that DD doesn't know coz I can't tell her til after the test results if it's ok -fortunately I don't think my DD was paying much attention!! Xx

NoMoreFastCars82 · 18/06/2019 09:17

I'm into Peterborough hospital tomorrow morning at 10am.

She says what this sonographer did was wrong and I need an internal one and that they will have a doctor on call so everything is done properly and they will check everything properly xx

She was very good and said the notes this lady gave weren't conclusive and even that she had written 7wks5 to 8wks2 on my report shows she's no idea as couldn't even date the baby correctly xx had made me feel better than I did xx my poor boss has just had me blubb down the phone uncontrollably and my upline too as I had a meeting with him today but we've pushed that back and boss has said he will call me tonight to check up on me xx

I work with some good people xx

DaisyMay25 · 18/06/2019 09:20

@NoMoreFastCars82 I'm glad they're doing an internal one. Sounds like you're in the right hands now. You'd think the sonography would know what they're doing. Awful that they can give people such a fright for no reason sometimes! Take it easy today, binge watch some awful tv!

@MummyBearBoo I'd be fuming in your situation, but I'd also say no I'm not just to shock people!

Bluebelltulip · 18/06/2019 09:22

@NoMoreFastCars82 I'm glad you have an appointment with the hospital. Fingers crossed it goes well tomorrow. Also glad your work are supportive. X

MummyBearBoo · 18/06/2019 09:30

@NoMoreFastCars82 -oh I hope everything goes ok hun your boss sounds lovely!!
@beth3735 -I wouldn't worry too much I was overweight in my 2nd pregnancy and tried the Doppler at 9 weeks and couldn't hear anything - this time around I've lost 2 stone (so now healthy weight) and didn't try until 10+3 and I could hear it - my dad (who's a GP) says at 9 weeks it's normally too quiet to hear on a Doppler try again in a few weeks!! Hope everything goes ok on Sunday for you!! Xx

NoMoreFastCars82 · 18/06/2019 09:33

@MummyBearBoo I'd tell them it's chocolate cake and make a joke ... or depending who it was act really offended lol xx

beth3735 · 18/06/2019 09:35

@MummyBearBoo thank you, i tried again this morning, caught it very quickly at 157 bpm and heard it but it vanished and I couldn’t for the life of me find it again 😂 I won’t bother again now for a couple of weeks I’m just reassured that I caught it.

Cindy61 · 18/06/2019 09:43

@NoMoreFastCars82 I'm relieved for you. Keep everything crossed for you too!!

BowiesJumper · 18/06/2019 12:33

@NoMoreFastCars82 thinking of you, hope all is well!

I had to drop another wee sample into the antenatal clinic this morning (suspected asymptomatic UTI) and asked about my scan, they haven't got to my lmp date for booking them in yet! Hopefully get to it soon!!

Bentley111 · 18/06/2019 13:09

Just catching up through... @NoMoreFastCars82 I'm so sorry you're having such a shit time 🙁 your boss sounds lovely and I'm so glad the hospital are being responsive and good. Keeping everything crossed for you!

@Kinsters oh no, I'm sorry the physio isn't really working. Pregnancy yoga sounds like a great idea though.

Had my first pregnancy craving this afternoon... sushi. We live in really rural Cornwall so barely anywhere sells it here and our nearest sushi bar is about 2 hrs away in Plymouth but might have to pay it a visit on the weekend if I can last that long

NoMoreFastCars82 · 18/06/2019 13:10

@BowiesJumper that's frustrating for you xx

Well I've eaten my weight in food as normal and I'm hungry again xx just feel tired and bit sicky but not fully nauseas so think it's nerves doing it xx
Too many scenarios rolling through my head at present xx

NoMoreFastCars82 · 18/06/2019 13:11

@Bentley111 thanks xx

Careful with sushi, there's fineprint with it on what you can and can't have xx

Bentley111 · 18/06/2019 13:22

Thanks @NoMoreFastCars82 I will be - it's avo California rolls I'm really wanting 🤤🤤

DinoGreen · 18/06/2019 13:40

The weirdest thing has happened to me ... I’ve gone off tea. I’m a total tea addict and up until a few days ago was struggling to stick to my 3 cups a day (hate decaf). Then suddenly it’s like a switch has flipped and I don’t want it! This didn’t happen with my first pregnancy so it’s very odd!

Just been and purchased a large bottle of gaviscon as I’ve been suffering from heartburn at night.

Tomorrow I get to call and book my 12 week scan, yay! Will be so nice to have it in the diary.

NoMoreFastCars82 · 18/06/2019 13:41

@Bentley111 no idea what they are 😷 lol

My lodger is burning toast again today and it straight away turned my tummy like it has done throughout the pregnancy so I'm taking that as a good sign xx

NoMoreFastCars82 · 18/06/2019 13:43

@DinoGreen I've got that bottle of gaviscon too lol

I have been off tea and coffee for most of this and only the last 2 days have managed decaf tea again but only one if I do xx

Can't stand coffee at the min and I used to drink tonnes of it 😷 decaf didn't taste any different so it's not that xx

Mirana · 18/06/2019 14:03

From the second I found out I was pregnant I stopped all caffiene except for the odd McDonalds coke and I haven't missed it at all, when I'm usually a 6 cups a day girl! Dont miss it either, the few I have had made me feel quite ill tbh.

My nausea massively eased the last 2 days, was a little worried, but today it's back with a vengeance. 5hours of vomming and counting. Hoping it's a good sign but my GOD my tummy hurts!!! 8+2 today roughly. On a massive countdown to 12 weeks.

NoMoreFastCars82 · 18/06/2019 16:19

I honestly thought I'd end up with headaches after how much caffeine I used to have xx I've had none since I found out 🙂

Speaking of vomming, lodger is home and as normal he's cooking some shite and making my stomach churn 🤢🤢🤢
