Crikey. I'm mega-early, but did a Clearblue early detection test today and here I am! Hopefully some more folk will join me soon.
Second baby for me, already have DS who is 4. Feel like I've forgotten everything tho!
Eeeeeeek!

Hi all, hope everyone is well.

My bleeding seems to have stopped. I've done a test today and it's still blazing. Boobs still hurt. Just waiting for scan on Monday now. Hoping it's good news.

A few people have mentioned the FB group - as a reminder if anyone wants to be added (it's a 'secret' group) inbox me the email address linked to your FB account, or your FB name and tell me what's on your profile pic and I'll add you as a friend, add you to the group and then unfriend.

Hi everyone. Yesterday morning I had a bfp. From my period due date calculator states I’m due 30th of January. And 7 weeks but I took a test a week ago before I went on holiday and was still negative even though I was convinced I was pregnant. Got back from my holidays yesterday and line was very strong. Have I feeling i’ll be due around the first week of the February.

This is my second pregnancy I have a little boy who is 18 months this week. My previous mums net fb group has been my online family since I had my son. Looking to enjoy the journey again with this little peanut.

Jayne79 · 08/06/2019 23:47

@rebs1993 welcome and congratulations!! I'm seeing doctor on Tuesday to book scan etc and will be 6 weeks tomorrow, should be due Feb 2nd 😀

SuzieQ10 · 08/06/2019 23:51

Finally, after over a year of TTC I got my BFP tonight!! I'm so happy and nervous.
Just praying it lasts.
Did 3 cheapie tests then DH went out to get a clear blue, which said 2-3w pregnant. According to Flo app I would be 5w&2d approximately. Wow!! BFP pls pls stay.

Age:29
Cycle: 13
TTC: dc no2 (5yr age gap)

star1980 · 09/06/2019 00:30

Welcome Rebs and SuzieQ, congratulations!! Here’s to a happy and uneventful (yeah right!) 9 months Smile

Rebs, our DC are similar ages - my DD is 16m, I wonder how she’ll react!

sulkysukey · 09/06/2019 05:32

Hi all! Hopping on, very early days, period not due till Tues but just got BFP - EDD would be 18 Feb, 3rd DC.

I'm so panicky tho as youngest had an itchy bum (🙈) so we all had to deworm with Ovex (mebendazole) which is contraindicated in the first trimester. I took it yesterday (12dpo) - spoke to doc after I got the BFP who half reassured me that it's the same level of risk as alcohol... but I'm still freaking out and just can't enjoy the BFP... Anyone else done anything stupid similar? I'm kicking myself.

GoodShipSerenity · 09/06/2019 07:44

Welcome and congratulations new ladies!

rebs1993 · 09/06/2019 09:56

@star1980 also wondering how my little will cope. We went to see friends last night who have a 1 week old and he spent the night trying to poke him in the eye and shake the Moses basket hopefully by the time he’s 2 it’ll be better.

@jayne79, Good luck with first dr appointment on Tuesday! I have my midwife on the 28th of June.

Could someone add me to the fb group if possible?

tisonlymeagain · 09/06/2019 10:47

Hi @rebs1993 - can you PM me your email address linked to FB or your FB name and what's on your profile pic and I'll get you added?

Chichichi · 09/06/2019 12:31

Hello everyone, just got a shock doing a pregnancy test as my period hadn't arrived after 32 days (although they are frequently around 35 days) and got a clear second line, confirmed with digital which says 1-2 weeks. Bit confused by my due date but think if the digital is accurate then it would be about 16th February.

I have a two year old already, but the shock of finding out feels the same as the first time!

ivyleaf4 · 09/06/2019 15:29

@tisonlymeagain that sounds really promising, good luck for the scan tomorrow.

Welcome to the newbies Smile @sulkysukey try not to panic, sounds like the GP thought it was nothing to worry about.

KimKardash · 09/06/2019 15:53

Hey ladies so I my last update was not good I had bleeding last Saturday and been assessed by EPU - my levels have more than doubled in 48 hours so it's looking promising, I have a scan on Tuesday but only around 5-6 weeks so won't see much but fingers crossed! Hope you're all doing well x

SuzieQ10 · 09/06/2019 16:57

@KimKardash that sounds promising & hoping they give you good news on Tuesday.

What do you have to do once you find out your pregnant? My DC1 is nearly 5 so last pregnancy was so long ago I can barely remember.

Tablefortwoplease · 09/06/2019 18:38

Hi guys, hoping I can join! Can’t quite believe I’m pregnant! After years of trying with my ex partner nothing and with endometriosis and PCOS I was always told I’d need help. Fast forward around 7 years and with an amazing partner, I had a miscarriage on the 27th April (didn’t even know I was pregnant) and couldn’t quite believe my eyes when I did a test yesterday, AF still hadn’t returned post MC and I’m pregnant! Did another 2 tests and both say 2-3 weeks. I’ve got sore boobs and feel drained but no other symptoms. I’m scared to believe it’s real so hopefully can learn to relax sometime soon, I’m terrified to go to the bathroom in case I’m bleeding. I sound so naive but not even sure what to do next!

KimKardash · 09/06/2019 18:41

suzie my local hospital has online booking in - maybe Google your hospital name and booking in or midwife and it will come up? If not your gp might be able to refer you or tell you where to go

star1980 · 09/06/2019 20:23

@KimKardash that’s great about your hcg doubling. Hope you get to see a nice healthy bean at your scan. Smile

Congratulations @Tablefortwoplease and welcome. What a journey you’ve had to get here! Flowers

ECPCR2 · 09/06/2019 20:29

Hi all, I'd like to join in with you too to share concerns and excitement! Expecting a very wanted baby #1.

Had my implant out in December, then one visit from AF in January and nothing since then despite DTD regularly (and all ovulation tests came back negative). Went to the GP on Thursday to ask to start some initial investigations, mainly for lack of periods, so got booked in for that and given a lovely sample pot for DH. Then that afternoon after getting really annoyed with incredibly painful boobs I saw a beautiful, clear second line on a cheapo test, followed by 2-3 weeks confirmed by Clear Blue! No idea actually how to date it/estimate a due date because no cycle to go from, but I'm assuming it'll be early February.

I'm already terrified however about MC considering my cycle hasn't gone back to normal at all post implant. I know research says it shouldn't affect fertility or increase likelihood of not sticking, but there's so much anecdotal evidence that says otherwise...

My local maternity service has a self referral form - did those of you who did that also let your GP know, or would the early pregnancy unit pass the message on? I want to get a scan as soon as possible to have a EDD but realise I'll have to go private for anything really soon

Chichichi · 09/06/2019 20:37

Congratulations @ECPCR2! I'm also a bit confused about my EDD but did have a period in May so they will go by that.

For my first I went through self referral only, and they let your GP know. I did originally call the GP and they were prepared to do the referral, but it seems a pointless use of an appointment as I had no other concerns.

Givealittlebit · 09/06/2019 20:44

@ECPCR2 @Chichichi @rebs1993 @SuzieQ10 @sulkysukey @Tablefortwoplease wow busy few days! Big congratulations to all of you!

Seriously struggling with the tiredness this time around, although the combination of a toddler and a 2/2.5hr commute each way to work 3x a week may be making it harder than first time!
Also the nausea has started, joy! Was never sick last time though so hoping for that again

SuzieQ10 · 09/06/2019 21:18

@Givealittlebit wow that's a long commute. Been feeling tired too. Started taking some iron tablets, helping a little.

Can I ask, anyone who has self referred or booked themselves in for the booking appointment - does that mean you've already chosen the hospital that you want to go with? I haven't a clue 🙈. When do I need to do this

Jayne79 · 10/06/2019 09:31

That's me out girls, miscarrying since yesterday 😢 They won't scan me until Thursday but it's def all over. Feel so sad but wishing you all the luck in the world with your wee bundles 💕💙

ivyleaf4 · 10/06/2019 10:21

@jayne79 I'm so sorry to hear that Sad
