Hi ladies

Thought I’d start a new thread as we were close to filling the last one. Shall we do a little check in?

I’m due 7th Jan with 2nd baby.

Sorry to hear that @Mirana, it’s so rubbish isn’t it.

Lost so much blood over night. If this isn’t a miscarriage then I’m not sure where all this bleeding is coming from! Nothing to do but wait now. Sorry to those in the same boat and thank you everyone for all your kind words x

@mynameisMrG I'm so sorry you've been through a hard time, fingers crossed you get your scan soon - sounds positive though x

@Mirana I'm also so sorry, how far gone are you now? X

MrsM18 · 21/05/2019 07:36

@Sunshine3105 I totally agree! I swear they were 2/3 days when I had my DD but these ones lasted 24 hours on the dot. I've still kept them even though they're now blank 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Bentley111 · 21/05/2019 07:40

Oh no @mynameisMrG I'm so sorry you've lost so much blood. Is there anyway you could book a private scan today?

Hope you're ok @Mirana x

anitagreen · 21/05/2019 07:45

@mynameisMrG sorry forgot to say my friend had this and when they scanned her there was a sac of blood that had popped or something behind the baby all was fine but they do like to keep an eye on it. X

mynameisMrG · 21/05/2019 08:32

Thank you @anitagreen that’s encouraging

@MoominMantra my DP has two children from his previous relationship who are 18 and 22.. they've had mixed reactions. The oldest thinks it's weird but is inquisitive.. the youngest has just shut him off completely. To be fair they have always had a tumultuous relationship since he split with their mother and I can't be mad if they're not over the moon.. but does feel a bit unfair with all the harsh words being said about an innocent baby. Don't really know what to do to help the situation either.. guess it's up to our DPs to sort it out. Have been trying to stay calm as I spent the last 2 weeks so stressed out I'm sure it hasn't done the baby any good at all 😕

MoominMantra · 21/05/2019 09:16

Hi @Anon120 thanks for sharing your experience. I'm trying not to get involved because like you I don't think it will do the baby any good. I feel like my dp obviously hasn't made him feel secure, otherwise why would he be acting like this.

MoominMantra · 21/05/2019 09:17

To everyone who has worries about bleeding, I'm so sorry you have this going on and I hope you get some reassurance soon xxx

stressedoutorknockedup · 21/05/2019 10:10

Bad news here. I'm going to say goodbye. Good luck to everyone else and hope your beans all stay sticky xx

DaisyMay25 · 21/05/2019 10:26

So sorry @stressedoutorknockedup

KMic · 21/05/2019 10:45

Wow this thread moves quick!

I'm so sorry for those who have had losses or are unsure of where things are at at the moment. Try and take comfort that everything happens for a reason and things will work out in the end.

I am booked in for an early scan at the EPU on Monday - i'll be 7+1. Due to my previous MMC and the day of spotting I had, I just want to make sure there is a little heartbeat fluttering away before I go on holiday next Wednesday.

How many people are i the fb group now? I think I will join in after a bit of reassurance on Monday x

SMiles14 · 21/05/2019 10:54

Hi ladies, can I join please? I am 28 from Wiltshire and I'm 5w5d with my first. lots of symptoms so far, nausea, bloating, tiredness, boobs like rocks.... its all going on!

micls · 21/05/2019 11:08

Hi all. Hoping to join ye, but a bit anxious/reluctant.

Had a miscarriage in March of twins, and terrified it will happen again.

Should be 5+5 but had a doc appointment today and she thinks it could be a bit earlier based on the pregnancy test.also found some blood in the urine so I have to come in every 48 hours for bloods to see if pregnancy progresses.

So mostly terrified rather than excited at the moment.

GrandTheftWalrus · 21/05/2019 11:17

I'm out as well. Must've been a chemical pregnancy. Good luck to everyone xx

Seahawk80 · 21/05/2019 11:30

@mynameisMrG hope you're ok. Bleeding is just the worst.

I've been a bit absent from this thread, just been so hectic with DH away and on my own with DS. Back at work now so have almost caught up! I've been having spotting on and off since weds. Only when I wipe and brown or pink - is exactly the same as with DS but I'm still worried. I'm not working thurs so will go to EPU as there should be a heartbeat if all ok. Ive had lots of cramps too but they could just be a normal sign. I'm going to have to take DS with me to EPU as only person who could realistically have him is my sister and she has a chest infection and 3 kids of her own. It's not ideal but there's no way round it. I am stocking up on stickers and will give him some chocolate biscuits while they do the scan.

AnneTwackie · 21/05/2019 11:42

@mynameismrsg I’ve also had heavy bleeding yesterday but it doesn’t sound like the hospital have been as thorough with me. A scan today too. Would you mind if I pm you? Feels wrong to talk about it too much on what should be a happy thread.

Islandermum · 21/05/2019 11:42

Absolutely gutted to say that I have had bleeding through the night and terrible cramps. GP confirmed early miscarriage. Wishing you all the best with your pregnancies. I hope to see you all again on another forum x

AnneTwackie · 21/05/2019 11:43

@grandtheftwalrus good luck for the future Flowers

AnneTwackie · 21/05/2019 11:44

@stressedoutorknockedup sorry to hear your news

Starfish83 · 21/05/2019 12:03

Morning everyone.

To all those who have suffered losses - I am so very sorry. I do hope that you have solid support networks around you and that you can take comfort in knowing that you can get pregnant. Hope to see you return to these boards very soon, if that is what you want. Thinking of you and sending best wishes.

To those experiencing bleeding - I really hope that you have some good news soon. As others have said, there can be lots of reasons for bleeding in early pregnancy.

Victoriaaaaaaaa, I have messaged you about joining the Facebook group. (It is a private group, isn't it?)

Welcome to the newbies. xx

Mirana · 21/05/2019 12:31

It is absolutely crap :(

I spoke to another midwife this afternoon and she said I was spotting not bleeding. Have a back ache from hell and I'm poorly so in general not impressed with life. I have a scan booked for 11.30am Friday, and on orders to rest up until then. Having had 3 miscarriages before, bleeding and backache screams that it's all over but the midwife wasnt concerned and said it's very normal.

No idea how far along I am. By my period, I'm 5+3, by my opk's I'm 4+2. However, going by opk's I would have had my bfp on the evening of 3+3 which is absurdly early especially for an evening test (and it wasnt a frer). I'm probably somewhere in between!

Glittergirl2 · 21/05/2019 12:37

So sorry to the people who have experienced losses. It's heartbreaking reading what people are going through. I hope you're being well looked after and wish you well for the future xx

AnneTwackie · 21/05/2019 12:40

I’m going to go now, good luck to all x

mynameisMrG · 21/05/2019 13:20

I’m so sorry @GrandTheftWalrus, @AnneTwackie and @sleeping. What a horrible day for so many. I’m still bleeding and no word from the scanning dept yet. Guessing it will be tomorrow. I have resigned myself to the outcome so I’m not that bothered about the wait now.

Of course you can message me @AnneTwackie
