Hi ladies

Thought I’d start a new thread as we were close to filling the last one. Shall we do a little check in?

I’m due 7th Jan with 2nd baby.

@Ceejay19 I found out I have under active thyroid two years ago. Been on medication as it could affect conceiving. Now first pregnancy 6+1. When confirming my pregnancy with doctor, I also did a blood test for this. All seemed ok. I'm sure you'll have more information after the visit to doctor. Probably will give you some pills to take.

Gorillaandme · 18/05/2019 05:40

I know this is stupid but I just took another clearblue digital with weeks indicator expecting it to say 2-3 as I'm 4 weeks 4 days and it still says 1-2 😕 feel like I shouldn't let it bother me but it has and now I'm panicking.

AstroKate · 18/05/2019 06:08

Oh @MrsH497 I'm so so sorry to read this update

Take care of yourself and really hope to see you back on pregnancy boards soon x Thanks

SleepingStandingUp · 18/05/2019 06:11

MrsH497 I'm so sorry x

CatRash · 18/05/2019 06:13

Oh I'm sorry MrsH497. I hope you're being looked after and taking it easy.

@Gorillaandme - those tests are notorious for getting the weeks wrong so don't panic. During my first pregnancy I was still getting 2-3 weeks at 6+ weeks. Needless to say I was worried so Googled it lots and it's very common. So many things can affect it like time if day, concentration of urine etc.

Morning sickness has well and truly kicked in here so that's fun. I was only sick once in the first trimester of my last pregnancy and I've already beat that record Blush

Gorillaandme · 18/05/2019 06:46

Just caught up properly on the thread. @MrsH497 so sorry to hear. Feel so sad for you.

@CatRash your probably right think I'm just over analysing everything at the moment. I don't remember this stage in my first pregnancy.

primarywoodle · 18/05/2019 06:49

Really sorry mrsh thats sad news :(

primarywoodle · 18/05/2019 06:51

Right so horrible all day nausea now accompanied by a full on cant breath cold. Wonderful!

Possible silver lining - will be less sensitive to smell? Trying to look on the bright side 😂

Bentley111 · 18/05/2019 07:03

I'm so sorry @MrsH497 take care of yourself Sad xxx

Woke up at 4am for a wee and getting up triggered my nausea, have been sat in the bathroom retching and heaving since. DH is being so good, he is currently mucking my horses out in the pouring rain so I can sit on mumsnet and feel sorry for myself try and get half an hours sleep.

KMic · 18/05/2019 07:53

So sorry @MrsH497 ... please rest up and remember there is a reason for everything. You will be able to try again when the time is right.

I am tentative about joining he fb group as it's still such early days ... I joined one last time and it sucked having to leave it after my MMC ... I might wait and few more weeks and then if everything is good join in Smile

MrsM18 · 18/05/2019 08:20

SleepingStandingUp · 18/05/2019 09:14

Well the wooziness is getting worse, so that's fun. Put it down to tiredness yesterday - DH walked in at 6 and I went straight to bed and slept through til DS woke at 5.45. But keep going woozy still and I have a theatre date with MIL later who can't find out til next week!!

DaisyMay25 · 18/05/2019 09:21

So sorry @MrsH497

I put some ginger biscuits next to my bed before I went to sleep, the doctor said to eat a couple 20 minutes before getting out of bed and it should help with the nausea! It's worth a shot

She gave me some nausea tablets too and I went for a blood test yesterday.
I slept for about 9 hours but I'm still exhausted and got work soon.

SleepingStandingUp · 18/05/2019 09:22

I used to have a 2 am banana with DS but the smell makes me vommy now

TheOnlyMrsA · 18/05/2019 09:27

Good Morning All,

Thanks for the invite @AstroKate @SleepingStandingUp!

I'm 26, this is my 2nd pregnancy, 1st baby (we hope).

Having MC'd only 4/5 weeks ago the only day thing I can base my dates on is that 🙄 brining my little pips EDD as the 22nd Jan. hoping and praying for this one to stick xox

AysLon · 18/05/2019 09:27

@MrsH497 so so sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself, sending virtual hugs.

BeckyG86 · 18/05/2019 10:31

If it is ok can I join this thread please? I am pregnant with my first baby and based on my dates I am 8+3 weeks today. Based on this my due date is Christmas Day (I know, that would make me December 2019 thread, and I am on there). However last Sunday me and my Husband went for one of those early scans at a place called Window to the Womb and they said my measurements seem to be about a week behind my dates, which if that is the case I would be due on New Year's Day, taking me in to January 2020. I did ask the sonographer what I should do about my dates and she said stick to mine until I get my hospital scan at around 12 weeks as they'll date me there. Now I am sort of in limbo as to whether I will have a 2019 or 2020 baby!

Congratulations to you all on your pregnancies. I wish you all a healthy and happy pregnancy and labour.

mynameisMrG · 18/05/2019 10:47

Course it is @BeckyG86 welcome and congratulations. I expect a fair few of us will end up with 2019 babies despite when our EDDs are 😊

I’m having another day without symptoms. Hoping things start to ramp up when I hit the 7 week mark

SleepingStandingUp · 18/05/2019 10:48

We'll remind you of that when you're vomiting all day and woozy mynameisMrG 😂😂

stressedoutorknockedup · 18/05/2019 10:53

Hello!
I got a bfp yesterday. Very much a surprise baby number 3 (older children are 9 and 6 so a big gap!)

I remember thinking with my second maybe I wouldn't be sick this time then hyperemesis hit at week 8 so I'm counting down the days!

I think I'm due 17th jan so 5 weeks yesterday. Eek.
