Is anyone else due in Jan 2020? My dates are a bit iffy 🤣 but I’m either due 30/12 or 2/1. Baby number 4 ( I swear we were stopping at 1). 🤣

Is anyone experiencing heavy arms and legs? My legs feel as though I've been walking uphill and arms feel as though I've been holding them above my head. Been reading online about circulatory problems and issues with blood pressure. But not sure if what I'm feeling might just be fatigue!?!

KellyA25 · 01/05/2019 06:18

Thinking of you @Bunnylover84 .. I hope all goes well and it's nothing to worry about Flowers

KellyA25 · 01/05/2019 06:21

@Kinsters - I've also got diarrhoea, and I'm so bloated but no morning sickness symptoms.. Hmm

Redorangeyellowgreen · 01/05/2019 06:35

Keeping everything crossed for you today

Redorangeyellowgreen · 01/05/2019 06:36

Sorry I meant to tag @bunny84

plipliop · 01/05/2019 06:38

Another night of crazy dreams here.
Hope everyone is feeling ok today.

When did you all call your GP?
I'm 4+2 today and it feels a bit early. Can't remember what I did before as it was so long ago.

plipliop · 01/05/2019 06:39

@Bunnylover84 hope you're ok x

leclarke91 · 01/05/2019 06:49

@plipliop I'm 4+1 and I called gp last week, who asked me to self refer to midwife by filling in a form online. Received a letter in the post and have my first midwife appointment at 9 weeks.

Missmonkeypenny · 01/05/2019 06:51

I’m 4 weeks today! It feels like a bit of a milestone and I’ve downloaded a pregnancy app which tells you what fruit the baby is Grin

Redorangeyellowgreen · 01/05/2019 06:56

plipliop I also self referred to the midwife this time, I sent the form off at the weekend when I was approx. 4 weeks. It did feel a bit early but I figured I would rather be in the system so I can start getting appointments booked.

leclarke91 how long did you have to wait between sending off the form and getting the appointment letter? My hospital isn't brilliant when it comes to admin so expect I will end up chasing them...

Chantalle3 · 01/05/2019 07:04

@BunnyLover84 hope all is okay! ♥️

@leclark91 thank you! Hope yours all goes well!

I got the impression from my GP receptionist it took some time so I went in last Thursday or Friday and did the referral form for the midwife (was exceptionally quick). Haven't heard anything yet though. Apparently I might not hear anything till 8 weeks which seems a bit last minute for the booking in appointment?

Congrats @missmonkeypenny I have to admit I have two apps on the go 🙈 although they differ. Apparently baby is the size of an apple seed at the minute yet by the time we are at 12 week scan it's already got to the size of a lime! Crazy!

mynameisMrG · 01/05/2019 07:15

@Bunnylover I hope you’re ok this morning and managed to get some sleep. Fingers crossed it is just a scare and bean is safe in there xxx

DaisyMay25 · 01/05/2019 07:15

@Bunnylover84 fingers crossed everything is fine, hopefully they'll do some blood tests

I'm five weeks today! Gone up to the size of an orange seed apparently! That seems quite a jump from a poppy seed

mynameisMrG · 01/05/2019 07:15

@kellya25 I have the diarrhoea too. Had it with all my pregnancies. It’s a very inconvenient symptom!

Izabelus · 01/05/2019 07:37

I'm exactly 5 weeks today too @DaisyMay25 Smile I've been feeling a dull sort of pain in my lower abdominal (on the right side yesterday and it seems to moved to the left side this morning)... can't tell if it's the stretching or pain in the ovaries Hmm I've got my GP appointment this morning (fingers crossed). So far my symptoms are tender breasts, some sorts of cramps and missed period! No nausea so far... still very early!

Anon120 · 01/05/2019 08:01

Sorry to sound silly but how do you work out how far gone you are?

@Bunnylover84 keeping everything crossed for you x

Bentley111 · 01/05/2019 08:20

Hope you're ok @Bunnylover84 xx

Good luck for your GP appointment @Izabelus 🤞🏼

I think I'm going to call the Drs next week. Feels a bit silly before I'm even 4 weeks. Last time the appointment was completely unnecessary so hopefully they can refer me to the midwifes over the phone.

DaisyMay25 · 01/05/2019 08:27

@Izabelus it's nice to be at the 5 weeks mark! I think it's fine to be feeling all kinds of things right now as long as they're not severe, worse than period pains I was told. Just things stretching out! Good luck for the gp appointment!

@Anon120 if you know when you ovulated count that as a two week starting point, or from your last period as day 0.

frillyfarmer · 01/05/2019 08:51

@Bunnylover84 keeping everything crossed for you.
@DaisyMay25 @Izabelus I'm also having all kinds of abdominal pains- just looked back through my previous pg diaries and I had this at the same stage with DS. My booking apt is 10th May and then I have an early scan at 8 weeks. I've exhausted neurotically googling everything now and just need to chill out.

DaisyMay25 · 01/05/2019 08:55

@frillyfarmer good to know it's normal then, I think mine are getting better. I think you're right, we just need to relax and enjoy it instead of all the worrying and googling. That's early for a booking apt isn't it?

Izabelus · 01/05/2019 08:56

@frillyfarmer I need to do the same. I've been reading the same info over and over again. Patience is the key! The notes from your previous pregnancy must be so helpful! Try to relax x

MrsBeds · 01/05/2019 09:03

@bunnylover84 hope everything is ok ❤

I'm 5 weeks today too! Referred myself to midwife last Tuesday, calling my GP on Friday if I haven't heard from them to push for an earlier app if possible.

Symptoms wise, my nausea has gone but I still feel really tired and constantly need to pee! Sore boobies too! Ohh and I get emotional for no reason haha my MIL has some new solar lights in her garden and when I saw them just started sobbing 😂

DaisyMay25 · 01/05/2019 09:05

@MrsBeds haha were the new lights that good?!

MrsBeds · 01/05/2019 09:12

@DaisyMay25 apparently so 😂 my OH looked so confused bless him! Luckily MIL was in the kitchen as we aren't telling her til 12 weeks haha

frillyfarmer · 01/05/2019 09:38

@DaisyMay25 I'll be 6+6 then so not too early but due to my history they will do an early scan and they won't confirm the scan is booked until my booking appt 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's crazy how differently the different NHS trusts do things!

@Izabelus they are, my DH thought I was batshit when I photocopied then all (you don't get to keep your notes after you've delivered) but I knew I wanted more children and I knew I would want to compare - data analysis is part of my job 😂

The bloat today is absolutely UNREAL. anyone else?!
