Is anyone else due in Jan 2020? My dates are a bit iffy 🤣 but I’m either due 30/12 or 2/1. Baby number 4 ( I swear we were stopping at 1). 🤣

@DaisyMay25 it's completely understandable that you'd be worried, especially if you've miscarried before. My friend had a miscarriage and then went on to have a perfectly healthy baby. Is it just me or so days seem to go by very slowly? I just want to be at 12 weeks now! Booked an early scan at 7 weeks and 5 days, so hopefully that'll put some worries at ease.

Chantalle3 · 30/04/2019 16:47

@leclark91 SO SO Slow! I've got one booked too and hoping it will help pass the time a bit till 12 weeks!

DaisyMay25 · 30/04/2019 16:50

@leclarke91 I've got a scan booked in for 9 days time, just counting down the days! It's dragging so bad though

leclarke91 · 30/04/2019 16:54

@Chantalle3 I'm glad it's not just me! When do you have your scan booked for?

leclarke91 · 30/04/2019 16:54

Good luck with scan @DaisyMay25
How many weeks gone will you be when you have your scan?

DaisyMay25 · 30/04/2019 16:55

@leclarke91 6+1 it's a viability scan because of ivf, I think I get one three weeks after after 9 too but I'll probably get one in between too haha

leclarke91 · 30/04/2019 17:40

@DaisyMay25 Ahh, I see! Good luck with all your scans! Smile

Chantalle3 · 30/04/2019 17:41

@leclark91 its booked for 7 weeks from my LMP.

Just realised that there's quite a few of us coming up to having known a week. That feels like a milestone. One week closer anyway!

mynameisMrG · 30/04/2019 18:00

I have to have a scan at ten weeks but I’m not sure I can wait that long 😕 seems an age away!

Missmonkeypenny · 30/04/2019 19:23

Symptoms for me are much like Daisy, which is no surprise given we’re likely on the same meds!

Sore boobs on and off
Gassy
Extreme tiredness
Waves of nausea
Very wet feeling down there ( I keep wondering if it’s AF)

My clinic won’t accept my BFP until official test day which is Saturday but then I’ll be booked in for an early scan!

Redorangeyellowgreen · 30/04/2019 20:38

I'm one of the people who will reach their one week BFP anniversary tomorrow! Exciting.

Did a CB digi today and got 2-3 weeks, so that was reassuring! I've banned myself from buying anymore pregnancy tests though...

Instatwat · 30/04/2019 20:41

I’m in Italy at the moment and really missing a big glass of red with my pasta!

Told my parents as soon as we got our BFP. Unfortunately I don’t really feel like there’s a ‘safe zone’ any more after losing our daughter; however, the rest of the world (aside from this thread!) won’t know until our anomaly scan at 20ish weeks. Specifically my in-laws, who were a nightmare during both my other pregnancies. Thankfully DH is in full agreement. Anyone else keeping the secret for longer than 12 weeks?

CatRash · 30/04/2019 20:43

My symptoms are bloated, bloated and really fooking bloating. I forgot how awful the first trimester bloating is!

Also tired, nipples are very sensitive, watery mouth and thirsty.

It's quite nice being due early on in the month - my last baby was due at the end of the month so I always felt way behind everyone else on the thread (and jealous AF when everyone's babies started popping out). Although my LO did arrive early so came mid-month in the end.

MrsBeds · 30/04/2019 20:51

@Chantelle3 I hadn't realised that until you put it!! A week!! (Well almost a week and a half for me) .. I'm still in disbelief!! How can time seem to go so slowly but so fast aswell!?

DaisyMay25 · 30/04/2019 20:58

@Instatwat enjoy Italy! We've gone the other way and told DHs parents and not mine! Gonna tell them after 9 week scan I think. I'm sorry for what you've been through before and I completely understand not wanting to tell people til later on. I'm absolutely terrible at secrets, DH is even worse! I have to tell him to stop telling people!!

frillyfarmer · 30/04/2019 21:09

@CatRash I've cheated and jumped ships for that reason 😂 I'm due on 29th and got my BFP two weeks ago tomorrow. I just couldn't stay in the Dec group as a lot of them were already 7/8weeks having scans and it just seemed so much further along than me!

I'm 5+2 based on my LMP and today is the first day I have felt properly sick, especially when people started warming their lunches up in the kitchen. I didn't get any sickness with my DS, I feel really sick and so bloated.

@Instatwat we won't be in a rush to tell outside our circle. Had a mc in Jan and had a rough time of it, one of my best friends announced her pregnancy soon after and has been rubbing my face in it ever since, so I'm keeping people at arms length. Especially won't be telling in laws also because they are overbearing and interfering. All being well with everything I'm hoping to just wonder around smugly with our growing bump and leave everyone else to be awkward wondering whether I'm just packing a few extra pasties. 😂

In all seriousness I was all up front last time, and apparently you show earlier with your second? So going on that, it'll be fairly obvious by 14 weeks!

mynameisMrG · 30/04/2019 21:26

@instatwat we are telling people later. We lost two at 15 and 16 weeks last year so we don't feel 12 weeks is much of a target for us either. I'm hoping to keep it quiet as long as possible but I am not sure I will be able to hide it in the summer!

Bentley111 · 30/04/2019 21:28

Hi everyone, very tentatively joining.
I had a BFP this morning putting my due date at 14th Jan. Had a mc in November at 8 weeks exactly and a chemical last month so feeling quite anxious!
Feeling really nauseous and only 10dpo so hoping that's a good sign 🤞🏼

Bentley111 · 30/04/2019 21:28

*afternoon not morning 🙈

mynameisMrG · 30/04/2019 21:29

Welcome @Bentley and congratulations :) Sorry for your losses, here's hoping for a sticky bean x

leclarke91 · 01/05/2019 00:07

@Chantalle3 best of luck with the scan!
You're right! That's a great way to look at it. We are one week closer to safer times Smile

leclarke91 · 01/05/2019 00:09

Hi @Bentley111 congratulations on your BFP! I hope it sticks for you!! Nausea already is reassuring too

Bunnylover84 · 01/05/2019 00:13

Ladies, please keep me in your thoughts. I felt majorly bloated and sick earlier with what I thought was severe trapped wind, then pain started to get more severe. Tried to go to the loo and strained a bit and a gush of pink blood came when I wiped. Instantly broke down and hubby was fab. He’s booking me an emergency app with my gp tomorrow. I’m preparing myself for the worst as still in pain and feels like it could be AF, but trying to get a good nights sleep and see what tomorrow brings. Had a chemical pregnancy in Nov and really thought this was the one, but tomorrow is a new day and as my hubby said it’s not the end of the road just yet...

Kinsters · 01/05/2019 01:08

Oh no Bunny fingers crossed everything is OK for you. It's such a stressful time.

Hi Bentley!

I don't have many symptoms - a bit nauseous and my boobs are slightly tender. Tmi but I've also got diarrhoea. I know most people get the opposite!

leclarke91 · 01/05/2019 01:54

Hi @Bunnylover84 thinking of you! Hopefully it is just a scare and nothing to worry about! Good luck at your gp appointment, sending love Thanks
