Is anyone else due in Jan 2020? My dates are a bit iffy 🤣 but I’m either due 30/12 or 2/1. Baby number 4 ( I swear we were stopping at 1). 🤣

Hi everyone, tentatively joining! Got my bfp yesterday so very early and due 7th Jan. I have one DS already and last year I lost two babies both at the fifteen week mark so I’m quite nervous for this pregnancy. Hopefully we will all be here for the next 8 months together 😊 fingers crossed for lots of sticky beans

leclarke91 · 28/04/2019 12:03

@UnicornsandRainbows1 so sorry to hear of this, can’t imagine the feeling 😥 💗

leclarke91 · 28/04/2019 12:10

@BubsyMalone congratulations! 😃 I’m expecting my first baby too. I also have been having period like pains (no bleeding though) for the last 4 days. Nothing severe, just like cramping. Has been a worry as I’m worried AF is going to show. So it’s reassuring to hear others have been having the same type of pain! X

leclarke91 · 28/04/2019 12:11

Congrats to all the BFPs Smile

plipliop · 28/04/2019 12:27

@mynameisMrG keeping fingers crossed 🤞

Redorangeyellowgreen · 28/04/2019 12:38

rastawife9 I've had bleeding in every pregnancy, both when things didn't work out but also when I had my DD (she's now 3). My mum said she had the same. It's very common and not necessarily a bad sign so stay positive - keeping everything crossed for you.

I sent off my self-referral form to the hospital today. I'm only 4 weeks but figured I might as well get the ball rolling and hopefully get some appointments booked in soon!

Kinsters · 28/04/2019 13:03

Is everyone else checking their pants all the time? I need to stop and chill about it but every time I go to the loo I'm checking the paper for blood. Doesn't help that I get quite wet down there when I'm pregnant which is disconcerting because it can feel like my period starting.

frillyfarmer · 28/04/2019 13:35

@Kinsters yes, I'm also ahem, moist down there and keep getting panicked when I feel something, I miscarried in Jan at a similar point so I'm just nervous!

Welcome to all the newbs, hoping for sticky beans for us all. 🤞🏼

Kinsters · 28/04/2019 14:05

frillyfarmer seems miscarriages are so common, looks like loads of us have had previous losses.

I think it's impossible to not be nervous, I'm just trying to focus on that there's nothing I can do that I'm not already doing. Hopefully we're lucky this time.

Missmonkeypenny · 28/04/2019 14:17

Can I join, please? Pregnant after our first ivf transfer Smile I tested this morning and got a BFP after 3 years of trying.

Missmonkeypenny · 28/04/2019 14:19

Oh, also tested super early at 5 days past transfer which is the same as 10DPO! Due 8th Jan!

Congratulations! How lovely after such a long wait ❤️

mynameisMrG · 28/04/2019 14:24

Aww congratulations @missmonkeypenny how lovely

plipliop · 28/04/2019 14:58

@Missmonkeypenny congratulations! Xx

Navy123 · 28/04/2019 15:19

Can I tentatively join? Got the faintest line on a frer which I was expecting to be stronger with af due today but a line is a line and I'm trying to be positive! Due around the 6th Jan I think.

I have a DS who will turn 2 about 2 weeks after this one is due! History of early mcs - 3 before I fell with DS and 2 since starting trying again. Really hoping this one is sticky because I'm fed up with it all already!

mynameisMrG · 28/04/2019 15:58

Sorry for your losses @navy, it makes it so hard to enjoy or get excited about pregnancy doesn’t it? Baby dust to everyone

DaisyMay25 · 28/04/2019 16:49

@Missmonkeypenny you're the exact same as me! I just did my first round of ivf and got my bfp on 5dp5dt! I had my bloods done last Thursday to confirm. Congratulations! I'm due 1/1 I've got my viability scan on the 9th, do your clinic do early ones too?

Rastawife9 · 28/04/2019 17:10

Ah that sounds like a great idea. Im just moving so i will find a new gp tomorrrow hopefully be able to get seen quick.
What vits is everyone taking. At the moment im taking seven seas pregnancy vits with added ginger. I also have self prescribed low dose asprin a obyn friend also suggested. But i have omega oil capsules not sure if its too much?

SamT210 · 28/04/2019 17:10

Can I join? Got my BFP Friday, 13DPO.. 1st baby so not really sure what the next step is. But super excited and of course very anxious 😊

LizzieZara · 28/04/2019 17:13

Can I join please? Due 3rd Jan according to my last period. Amazing to hear so many ladies in the exact same position! Congratulations everyone.. only 8 months to go!

Missmonkeypenny · 28/04/2019 17:24

Daisy oh wow, how amazing! They do early scans, yes, i think at around 6.5 weeks - does that sound about right to you?

Navy123 · 28/04/2019 17:32

@Rastawife9 I'm just taking the bog standard tesco pregnancy ones - took them last time too and they seemed to do the trick. Was wondering about baby aspirin based on how many early mcs I seem to have - why were you advised to take them?

DaisyMay25 · 28/04/2019 17:36

@Missmonkeypenny I get one at 6 and one at 9, 6.5 sounds about right though! When you OTT?

@Kinsters @frillyfarmer I'm the same, got mild af like cramps and a bit moist down there too, but just be things adjusting! I check every time too but so far so good!

Welcome and congratulations to everyone else!

mynameisMrG · 28/04/2019 17:47

@Rastawife9 I’m taking high dosage folic acid and vitamin D. Was taking pregnacare while TTC. I have to take low aspirin from 12 weeks but I’m wondering whether to take it earlier.

Anyone else consultant led?

frillyfarmer · 28/04/2019 18:15

@Missmonkeypenny that's just like mine 10DPO - congrats after so long trying!

@DaisyMay25 @Kinsters it is so unnerving but like you say, nothing we can do now other than look after ourselves.

@Navy123 I think I recognise your username from one of the MC threads. Congratulations and fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time xx
