Hi,

It looks like we filled up the last thread before anyone had a chance to start a new one, so here we go! Hope everyone finds their way over.

@twittlebee could you possibly link to the Google Doc again?

@karigan195 so glad you were seen again and got a bonus scan. Lovely to get a bit of reassurance too, hope the next 7 days go quickly for you.

Hi guys!!!!
I had no idea this thread was made!! I was so confused as to why I couldn't post on the old one and why no one else was posting on it!!
I shall try and catch up on everything, hope everyone's okay!! Xx

Megan2018 · 27/02/2019 08:52

NIPT results in! All low risk 1/10,000
And we are having a girl!
I genuinely didn’t mind, but DH pleased!
So just 12wk scan on Monday to go.

Lavellan · 27/02/2019 08:52

It's scan day. I'm so nervous for some reason. Argh. Was having stress dreams about being late for the appointment. I seriously need to chill. 😂

Megan2018 · 27/02/2019 08:55

Good luck @Lavellan!

April88 · 27/02/2019 08:57

Brilliant news @Megan2018, how exciting you already know the sex!

Good luck @Lavellan

Easterbuns1 · 27/02/2019 09:32

Great news @Megan2018 and good luck @Lavellan

@porge123 we will be a bit more organised when we get near the end of this one and link the new one first! Threads are limited to 1000 posts.

Went to turn over in my sleep last night and got woken by a sharp pain to the right side of lower abdomen. No cramps etc just one sharp pain. Gone now. Could that be round ligament pain?

Megan2018 · 27/02/2019 09:43

@Karigan195
I have had that pain! A couple of times actually in bed.
And also yesterday when crouched down trying to out air in tyre.
It felt like muscle/ligament pain to me - not a cramp pain so I assumed it was that too.

DustyDoorframes · 27/02/2019 09:52

That's a classic moment for round ligament pain, @Karigan195
It's so sore!!

Karigan195 · 27/02/2019 09:53

It bloody hurt. Glad it seems to just be that though. And then had loads of are you ok from DP who seems to be a very protective future dad 😂😂😂

Tefiti2 · 27/02/2019 10:09

Lovely news @megan2018! Thinking of you @twittlebee, hoping it’s just an irritable cervix!
14 weeks today and was woken by a really odd sensation in my lower tummy- felt a round lump sticking out, then it disappeared a few mins later! Has anyone had this early on? I remember it with DS but not until about 18 weeks!

Fortheloveofscience · 27/02/2019 10:22

Brilliant news Megan, really happy for you Smile.

Good luck today Lavellan, fingers crossed for you.

Hope everyone else is ok

Florencenotflo · 27/02/2019 10:48

I've not had that @Tefiti2 but I've had definite flutters. I'm only 14+3 and with dd I didn't feel anything until way after 20 weeks. My placenta was at the front and being my first I wasn't sure. But twice now I've felt definite fluttery type feelings (that didn't turn out to be wind!).

Karigan195 · 27/02/2019 11:00

@Florencenotflo same here. Definite flutters. This baby seems very active! I think it’s easier to recognise second time round

Florencenotflo · 27/02/2019 11:19

Is it your second too @Karigan195 ? When we had the scan a couple of weeks ago baby was rolling around all over the place. They took ages to get the measurements they needed because it was wriggling so much!

Karigan195 · 27/02/2019 11:32

Yes. Second here too.

They gave up on trying to measure crown to rump as he just would not stay still. They got a skull measurement in the end 😂 he was kicking off one side of the uterus and sliding back down constantly

BridgetJonesDaiquiri · 27/02/2019 11:52

@Megan2018 brilliant news on your NIPT! How long did the results take to come through in the end?

Megan2018 · 27/02/2019 12:08

@BridgetJonesDaiquiri
I had the test at 8:30 on Weds 20th Feb and redults back before 9am today, so exactly a week. Less than the 7 working days quoted.

BridgetJonesDaiquiri · 27/02/2019 13:04

Thanks @Megan2018 that’s much quicker than I had imagined.

Has anyone been looking at maternity wear? I have some clothes left over from last year pregnancy, but I was big in the winter last time so mainly wore my usual baggy jumpers with maternity jeans. Summer heat will be a whole new world! Just looked at Zara maternity wear — hello potato sack! Do the designers think we all want to hide under a billowing tent from neck to feet?! Next looks better and Seraphine is great (but spenny). Desperately need some work wear that hides the bloat 😩

pinkpig381 · 27/02/2019 13:19

@BridgetJonesDaiquiri I've had a bit of a browse at maternity wear, H&M is the best I've seen so far! Quite a bit of choice and doesn't seem to break the bank x

Karigan195 · 27/02/2019 13:28

I looked at maternity wear but shops don’t seem to stick it. Can only seem to find stuff online.

I’ve gone to eBay to be honest as loads of people are selling off their maternity clothes.

Easterbuns1 · 27/02/2019 13:54

@BridgetJonesDaiquiri I got a wee bundle on my fb selling page and a wee bundle from eBay and that's me pretty much sorted. Mainly H&M jeans, new look dresses and a selection of tops.
