Hi,

It looks like we filled up the last thread before anyone had a chance to start a new one, so here we go! Hope everyone finds their way over.

@twittlebee could you possibly link to the Google Doc again?

@karigan195 so glad you were seen again and got a bonus scan. Lovely to get a bit of reassurance too, hope the next 7 days go quickly for you.

That's a cracking scan picture @Karigan195

I hope all turns out ok @TwittleBee and will keep everything crossed this week passes as quickly as it can. I had to wait 6 days for the epu to scan me last time and I tried to look at it as a positive because if everything was ok I'd be a bit further along. I know it's easier said than done though specially when you have history.

DustyDoorframes · 25/02/2019 15:05

Oh Twittle that's so hard!!! I'm also keeping my fingers so so crossed it's just a weirdness and all will be well next Monday.

Yay for your scan karigan!!!

@Megan2018 , I'm expecting to be put on aspirin next week- I've a 10 week appointment with the blood pressure clinic (due to high BP in my previous pregnancies), and my midwife, who spoke with them to arrange it, told me they are planning to put me on 75mg per day from 10 weeks, but they had also said that if I wanted I could start sooner. We both agreed that we couldn't see a reason to start sooner! In my last pregnancy I agreed to take part in an aspirin trial, but was never asked to take any, so didn't. I'm guessing I was one of the controls!

BBell2 · 25/02/2019 15:11

@twittlebee feet up time! I'm sorry it's gone badly today. It all seems very heartless "only two MCs" as if one isn't bad enough.

@ivegothedecaf thank you, I hadnt even thought that sickness wouldn't be counted, I was stressing about being ill later and needing one of my three annual periods off now.

BBell2 · 25/02/2019 15:12

@karigan159 your baby picture is brilliant, so clear in there

Karigan195 · 25/02/2019 15:28

I think its because I’m so far on. It’s been incredible seeing the difference in just a few weeks. Those little beans are growing fast now!

IVEgottheDECAF · 25/02/2019 16:43

My next scan is next week ill be 12+5(ish)

My uterus has definitely moved up now. Its just under my belly button when i lie down which is high but it is baby 5

Hsunshine · 25/02/2019 18:05

@karigan195 I am due around same time as you, they debated for a while but kinda said between 29th - 1st Smile

Hsunshine · 25/02/2019 18:07

@karigan195 if you ever get a private scan ask for a 4D one, I got one last week and you can see the little hands and face

Whisky2014 · 25/02/2019 18:09

So me, tefiti2, hsunshine and karigan all have similar due date. I wonder how different the reality will be!

Tefiti2 · 25/02/2019 18:17

Haha yes @whisky14 I was lucky as DS was a due date baby... don’t think I’ll be so lucky a second time around!

IVEgottheDECAF · 25/02/2019 18:25

I am due around the 10th (atm) other dc all born between 1 and 12 days early so i could still be August

Easterbuns1 · 25/02/2019 18:58

I'm due the 8th going by my early scan but I dare say section will be end of August.

DustyDoorframes · 25/02/2019 19:29

I'm a laggard at the 29th, until tweaked by the scan, no doubt. Mine have been on or just after their due dates so far. I really want a 9/19 birth date so hoping for early or on time! (Yep, keeping focussed on the really important stuff HmmGrin) how cool would 19/9/19 be???

Stroan · 25/02/2019 19:35

I’m unofficially the 4th, but will get a confirmed DD at my second scan on Thursday. Expecting an August c-section though

April88 · 25/02/2019 19:39

I had my 12 week scan last week and due 31st August. Hoping for a September baby but they’ll come when they want!

boodles101 · 25/02/2019 19:41

dustydoorframes my edd is currently 19/9/19 and I would love that date as my son's dob is 17/1/17.

ZigZaggyZoo · 25/02/2019 19:43

Lovely scan Karigan!

TwittleBee · 25/02/2019 19:54

I've something similar with my DS boodles he is 06.07.17 so I would really like 08.09.19! But as DS was 3 weeks early I've been told to expect an August baby my MW (if this one sticks of course)

Karigan195 · 25/02/2019 20:03

I know they won’t let me go over due to age and expecting an early induction as the lady few weeks of last pregnancy were horrendous with high blood pressure and emergency c section

DustyDoorframes · 25/02/2019 20:08

Ooooh those would be brilliant pairs of birth dates, boodle and twittle ! I've a 3/13 and a 6/16. 9/19 is like that final sticker in the album (I'm not holding out for 12/21!)

Whisky2014 · 25/02/2019 20:30

So with a first baby are you more likely to go early?
Is it better to have a sept baby than an August one for some reason?

Karigan195 · 25/02/2019 20:42

Only school really. If they are the oldest on the class it’s a bit of a boost educationally

KLane · 25/02/2019 20:43

@Whisky2014 The main advantage of a Sept birthday over an August birthday is that they'd be the oldest in the class rather than the youngest.

It mainly depends on the person and genetics but I believe on the whole, first babies are more likely to be later than subsequent babies.

Megan2018 · 25/02/2019 20:44

September birthday is an advantage at School as they can be almost a year older than the youngest in the class. August birthday children sometimes find it harder, but I don’t think it really matters.

Roughday · 25/02/2019 21:02

Hi ladies . Do you mind if I join ??
I’m 10+4 from lmp and 10+2 from early scan at epu.... feeling excited and nervous all at once as didn’t plan on anymore and eldest is 17 !! I feel too old 😂

Really anxious about scan which is booked for 13/3 as had a previous Mmc before my last born .. also feel like I’ve been hit by a bus but no one understands ( poor me )
I could sleep days
