Why does my mother think its ok to turn up unexpectedly at 6.45 when we've already had the conversation that she wouldn't? Got the kids all hyper, DD just reappeared (she's been up since 6) and they've been whiney and whingey all day. Grrrr!

That's bollocks Foxy. Get DH to look after her and go somewhere quiet to read a book or listen to some music. I've also been finding Rescue Remedy very helpful (god I hope that stuff isn't addictive as I've been quaffing it )

Just wanted to say 'hi' and I cant wait till all the visitors and well wishers have calmed down so I can get into some kind of routine and get some regular naps - and then I can catch up with you guys more! We have not had 1 day to ourselves since Ed was born last Sunday and it's starting to get to me.

Anyhow Ed is going great and is feeding like a big milk monster. I am going to try to do a bit of a birth announcement thingy now - as long as he doesn't wake up.

Well I'm still here and LO still firmly inside despite having a shitty night's sleep. DH is taking today off so will take the pressure off this afternoon. Might go to the gym this morning and see if I can work out my frustrations (gently of course).

Foxy I know what you mean about the school run - it is all I can do to stop from bursting into tears everytime someone asks me if I'm still here . Bloody hormones!

I am really feeling for those of you who have gone past your due dates - I was so pissed off and felt more and more shit as each day passed.

I think I said the week before last that 'I'd rather have stitches around my ass hole than go another day overdue' .....well here I am - and yep I got them!!! But yep I'd rather that than still be pregnant now!

It really isn't going to be long for you now ... but you've heard that a million times I know!

DKMA - posted on your birth announcement, well done, you sound very calm! I have my scan today, and I'll be happy if the MW sweeps me with a pineapple and gets things moving!

Woke up at 5 with mild cramps. Came to nothing. Today will be tough, Em was 10 days late but born by now. Perhaps I could have managed my expectations of today better, but I will be upset if I'm still pg at the end of it. Still, tomorrow is another day!!!

Well just got myself into a panic - but have calmed down now!!
Went to the loo and had a little bit of a show!!! So seeing as i've not had any sweeps, this could be it!!
Feeling abit crampy too, so I'll keep you informed!
MW supposed to be telephoning me later to sort out about monitoring as 10 days over - so we'll see what happens!!

I'm also seeing MW today, I'll officially be 41 weeks tomorrow - not sure if I should ask for a sweep as I had one on Friday to no avail...

No school run today thank god! Tomorrow is another day.

Am keeping fingers very tightly crossed for all of us today - I hope there is SOME action today xx

Well, still getting niggles but nothing major - spoke to the MW , she said she'll call later today to see if any progress, if not suppose i'll have to go into hosp for some monitoring.
Off to have some lunch and am going to do some pruning - not my lady garden, my actual front garden - I mean House Garden!!

ps - hurry up Foxy - tell us whats happening!!
