Hope no-one else has started a new thread, I couldn't find it if so.

Just wanted to send hugs of support to Holly. I hope it all goes well.

Will check in tomorrow if I can to update.

Good luck!

Sorry about your shitty night annobal. Hopefully things will seem a lot less desperate after some sleep.

FWIW, the reality of having DD is much less stressful than I'd thought beforehand. I'd built it up to be something horrible an un-doable, but so far so good. I'm sure you'll be just fine annobal!

annobal · 29/06/2007 13:49

Hi Daisy, thanks for your words of wisdom - I think you are right, a good sleep would do me the world of good. Both DCs were up in the night about every hour last night, so when DH gets here, I think I will be heading off for some kip...

Emily sounds like such a lovely baby. I'd like to get me one of those .

Has there been any update from DKMA? Do you know who her text buddy is?

sputnik · 29/06/2007 15:14

Poor you Annobal, are your DCs ill or just being a pain? Reminds me of my last few days, i was waking at all hours and so was DD, partly because we were at SIL's house and her normal routine was up the spout. Anyway hope this means you're nearly there. I've actually had much better sleep since giving birth, so there is hope!

annobal · 29/06/2007 15:18

Thanks Sputnik

How are you getting on?

doggus · 29/06/2007 15:21

I am on here for 1 minute as he is about to start screaming but Baby Doggus was born last week 22 June at 2.05am. Have been in hospital for a week as he had slight breathing probs (too fast). Horrendous birth I am afraid but he is adorable. Will be back to post proper announcement when he allows me but wanted to tell you have not fallen off face of Earth!

He has been named Arthur and was 7lb 11oz.

sputnik · 29/06/2007 15:22

Pretty good actually. Baby Sputnik eats, sleeps and fill nappies. Hee's even doing 5/6 hour stretches at night. Apart from a grumpy day yesterday that's it. I am SO happy not to be pg anymore (sorry)

bumperlicious · 29/06/2007 15:24

Congratulations Doggus! Sorry to hear you were in hospital for so long. Hope all is well now xxx

sputnik · 29/06/2007 15:26

Hooray Doggus and Arthur

daisyboo · 29/06/2007 15:51

Doggus.....BIG BIG Congratulations on the birth of Arthur.

Sorry to hear it was a horrible birth and that he's been poorly, but glad that you're home now......was wondering where you'd got to.

We will be needing the gory details though!

Well Done

Seansgirl · 29/06/2007 15:52

Hooray for Baby Doggus!!!
Fingers crossed for DKMA!!
Happy EDD Foxy and JB!!! As you know was my EDD date too so seems quite surreal to me that DS is here already!
Annobal, hope you are getting some kip in!! I am going to be extra vigilant with my phone for your text!!! how exciting!!

Seansgirl · 29/06/2007 15:54

Very of your weight loss Daisy I am considering being senasfatlass again or fatrampergirl as I am and feel soooooooo lardy!!!! (Not that I was ever Miss Slimicia 2007!!!)

Seansgirl · 29/06/2007 15:55

Baby Sputnik sounds like a little angel Sputnik was DD that good?

foxybrown · 29/06/2007 15:59

Big congratulations Doggus! Am delighted for you, Mr Doggus and Baby Arthur

Hope all is well now. xxx

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 29/06/2007 16:09

Hiya
I'm still here!

Congrats to Doggus and the Doggus family!

Well I'm trying to keep busy and not focus on my dwindling twinges too much. So I've been pottering about the house, eating, drinking, dead heading the roses, reading a magazine etc!

Arghggggggg - It's so hard not to think about WTF is going on to my body and when I'll get to meet my baby!??

Thank you so much for all the support! Sorry if I have got everyone excited over a possible false alarm?

I'll be leaving my computer on so I can dip in and out for updates etc. Dunno what I'd do without MN? Thank you!

sputnik · 29/06/2007 16:11

hi Seansgirl, as far as I remember DD was nowhere near as good, but maybe wasn't too bad in the early days then got worse, I really can't remember! Her sleeping was very bad at one point.

sputnik · 29/06/2007 16:14

DKMAFME, is this going to be TA all over again

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 29/06/2007 16:17

Sputnik - I am wondering the same thing!

As a very hour passes - TA is becoming more of a hero of mine! I don't know how she kept her spirits up for so long!?

TA if you're lurking - you were much better at this than me

justbeme · 29/06/2007 16:26

Congratulations Doggus!!! Sorry to hear you've had abit of an ordeal - but at least your home now.

DKMA - what can I say?? This seems to be a trend on this thread doesnt it?? Seems like you're doing the right thing though and the advise from Lulu and Mars was good.

daisyboo · 29/06/2007 16:29

DKMA...you had us all excited....glad you're ok and hope you're not getting too despondent. it will happen soon! who is your text buddy?

SG I'm still very flabby about the middle and cant do up my trousers...still wearing maternity jeans, but the underbump ones don't look too maternity like, more like hipsters. Still got 10lbs to get to pre pg....but ideally want to get another stone off afer that. did manage to get my size 14 stretchy jeans on today, but the rolls of flab hanging over the top were too horrendous for words! i think the amount dd is gobbling is helping...apparently shes pooing so much because of the amount shes taking in but not needing...so long may that continue; whats a few extra nappies compared to rapid weight loss

daisyboo · 29/06/2007 16:31

now we have dkma's labour thread to keep up with too, it could get mighty complicated around here...its hard enough keeping up with two!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 29/06/2007 16:36

Hi Daisy
My text buddy is Trace - but I've not seen her on here for a while?

I've run out of things to do to keep busy so I'm just planted on my ball in front of my computer for a bit

foxybrown · 29/06/2007 17:01

Oh DKMA! What a shitty fucker! am for you. But it will happen. Honestly!!!!

My due date is coming and going - and already I'm completely pissed off with everyone saying "you still here". All the mums in the playground are getting right on my tits. How am I going to cope with two weeks of them??? Any suggestions??

daisyboo · 29/06/2007 17:02

trace was about yesterday, but if you want I'll e-mail you my number as I seem to be finding the time to be hanging around more than everyone else

daisyboo · 29/06/2007 17:04

lol foxy...get a t-shirt printed with "Does it farking look like I've had my baby yet?" and refuse to make eye contact with anybody so they can't talk to you!

foxybrown · 29/06/2007 17:04

Daisy, you are doing brilliantly! Who needs a life beyond family and MN?

And I read you had a shower AND got dressed today! Yay!!
