Hope no-one else has started a new thread, I couldn't find it if so.

Just wanted to send hugs of support to Holly. I hope it all goes well.

Will check in tomorrow if I can to update.

Good luck!

There was a thread yesterday about the floods JBM....

daisyboo · 27/06/2007 11:05

Some news from Trace2

trendaverter · 27/06/2007 14:06

Come on ladies!

We miss you!

foxybrown · 27/06/2007 14:09

Nothing changed here. Period type pains and nausea.

SHite. Thought I was on my way

daisyboo · 27/06/2007 14:26

Foxy, are you bouncing?...eating pineapple?...drinkig mango juice?...sidestepping up and down stairs?....having sex and stimulating your nipples?....No...well no bloody wonder its not happening

Big labour vibes baing pinged down the information superhighway.

hollyandalice · 27/06/2007 14:29

Hey foxy! I hope you are on your way, all that pain and nausea does sound quite positive (obv not for you, you must feel shite, but for you going into labour!). I feel like I haven't spoken to you for ages, I miss you!

foxybrown · 27/06/2007 14:32

Bouncing as we speak!

Went out for lunch to a friend's who had a lovely babyshower for me. she went to so much trouble with the food and all, and I've left the children there for an hour to come and relax!

I feel shite, but hopeful I have to admit. Perhaps I've simply got a stomach bug?

Can't face any of the other stuff TBH!

foxybrown · 27/06/2007 14:33

Thanks for missing me, Holly! You weren't on here at all yesterday were you?

Am glad Will is OK. I think snipping is the right thing, tho I too would be slightly concerned that the MW missed it - I don't think its all that uncommon.

hollyandalice · 27/06/2007 14:37

Wow, what a lovely friend foxy! My two bfs came to see me on mon evening and didn't even bring a present! This morning, however, I received a wonderful bouquet of flowers and a £100 cheque from my godmother! She is great!

hollyandalice · 27/06/2007 14:40

No, I missed one day and it felt like a week! William was feeding almost constantly and I was literally curling my toes up and wincing with the pain! The tongue snip has done the trick though and he is fast asleep now. Bless the poor little man! The bfing counsellor said his tongue tie was 100%, which means he couldn't stick his little tongue out at all. The paed didn't even check it!

foxybrown · 27/06/2007 14:40

How lovely!! Spend that money on yourself!

foxybrown · 27/06/2007 14:41

BTW SCHOOL RUNS ARE COVERED - SO C'MON BABY, YOU CAN COME OUT NOW!!

hollyandalice · 27/06/2007 14:47

COME OUT FOXY'S BABY, WE ARE ALL WAITING FOR YOU!!

foxybrown · 27/06/2007 14:48

she's still not due until Friday, I just got myself worked up and convinced - it feels very similar to when I started with DS2.

But its not building, just staying the same and we all know how long that can carry on for

moving on....

justbeme · 27/06/2007 16:07

Hi!
Ohh Holly , didnt know about the tongue snip??! Ouch - I'll read the PN thread later.

Just back from MW - head is engaged and the pain she says is NOT the fibroid - she reckons its normal when the head keep re engaging!

She also reckons its gonna be 8lb!

daisyboo · 27/06/2007 16:10

Out of interest JBM, how heavy do you think your bub will be?

I read somewhere (probably here) that the mother is really quite clued up and can usually get pretty close to the actual weight of their own baby. We did a wee family sweepstake here and I was closest at 4ozs over her actual weight.

justbeme · 27/06/2007 16:14

Well my DD was 7lb 13oz, and Im a bit bigger this time round - If I had to guess I'd probably say the same as the MW - 8lb.

hollyandalice · 27/06/2007 16:15

Hmmm...on the way to the hospital I guessed William's weight at 9lbs! Was a tad wrong!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 27/06/2007 16:20

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all ok today?

Foxy - sorry to hear you're not feeling so well - but this might be the start of a very exciting evening?

Holly - glad little Will's tonge is sorted! Did it seem to hurt him when they did it?

Daisy - Well Done for the school run this morning!!

JBM - good news that it's not your fanjo fibroid giving you jip!

Have I missed anything else today?

sputnik · 27/06/2007 16:57

Just popping in to check you're all still here

Foxy the 99.9% gel is exactly what I mean, it's fab. Also great for sunburn, red bits in general (have put it on Baby Sputnik's bum) and I use it as a face pack too. Give it a go.

trendaverter · 27/06/2007 18:34

DKMA! What are you still doing here? Have they offered you an induction or anything yet? How's it going?

daisyboo · 27/06/2007 19:02

sputnik...are you talking aloe vera?

foxybrown · 27/06/2007 19:18

I can categorically say this baby isn't coming out tonight. I think I had a tummy bug.

daisyboo · 27/06/2007 19:23

Oh Foxy.....I thought the lack of posts from you this afternoon was a positive sign....

DD cluster feeding again tonight...it's bloody exhausting, but she's dropped off for a bit, phew.

foxybrown · 27/06/2007 19:25

Just asked about cluster feeding on the PN thread as Sputnik mentioned it!

How's 'normal' life resuming Daisy? I have to say, you are doing fantastically well - am very impressed.
