I was so worried about Downs (we didn't have any testing at all done), I couldn't settle after Em was delivered until I'd had someone check her out. I was sat there doing my skin to skin, trying to feel love for this little scrap, asking DH whether he thought she was ok and did her face look ok and why did she have a thick looking neck.....ignoring the obvious that her muscle tone was so strong she managed to wiggle her way down from my shoulder to my boob! DH had to go and get someone before I could calm down.

Of course she's fine, and I'm sure both your LOs are too.

No - no special scans - just normal ones but quite a few 'cos of my 4 MC's and then position of fibroid.

JBM - I am 33 in a couple of weeks, I had a nucal fold scan and blood test etc - all was fine - but you just don't know till they come out etc do you I suppose?

DH went to the garage and spoke to the mechanic - and we're going ahead with the work. Unfortunately another quote wouldn't do us much good as we need the work doing at a VOSA MOT test centre so they can check it out on the VOSA equiptment - that way if it doesn't pass it'd MOT then they have to re do the work and put it through again with no charge (it also has 12mths warranty).

Trying not to think about it today - got a bit stressed yesterday - thinking 'why can't I have a cheeper hobby - like tennis or something?'
