Starting a new thread as we near the 1000 comment mark on the Part 2 one!

It is nearly December and I am sure all we want for Xmas are healthy pregnancies and babies Star

Good luck to everyone still here and so sorry for how many we have already lost on the way Flowers

Have spoken to the midwife, she was really lovely, they can't fit me at the hospital until Monday... we are meant to be having a private scan tomorrow, think DH is going to give them a call and see if they can fit us in today instead.
Know that being seen today or tomorrow or Monday is going to have no impact on the outcome but I'm just panicking and want to know... no more bleeding... has anyone else had anything like this?
DH is being great, just know he's being so strong for me.

ratherbeshowjumping · 23/11/2018 12:28

@frazzlerock and it's just stopped thundering and come out in beautiful sunshine....!!! What a day!! I'm ready for bed already...!

Giraffe888 · 23/11/2018 12:55

@ratherbeshowjumping I’ve got everything crossed for you x

SnailorSwift · 23/11/2018 13:01

Hope all is ok and you get some reassurance soon @ratherbeshowjumping 💕

I'm heading now to get my hair done. Have an event to go to tonight - don't want to go! Feel dreadful and will literally be the only sober person in the whole place 😩 but I'm hosting part of it so no choice!

Twistering · 23/11/2018 13:10

@ratherbeshowjumping -don’t panic. I had a proper red bleed last week that then went brown and was all fine. Could just be bean making themselves comfortable.

@BettySwoll0cks, so, so sorry to hear that. Look after yourself and hope have plenty of support xx

Twistering · 23/11/2018 13:13

@itslilsebastian as the others have said, it’s so early. Shittest waiting game ever xx

Frazzlerock · 23/11/2018 13:20

Oooh an Aug 2019 group has just been started on the Pregnancy board. That's feels weird for some reason! But in a good way..

smerlin · 23/11/2018 13:38

I had bleeding throughout 1st trimester with DD who is now 5. Occasionally v bright red.

It was due to a (harmless) blood clot behind the placenta. I was a regular at the EPU!

Just had some pinkish discharge and trying to stay calm!

stephn88 · 23/11/2018 13:40

Really seem to be stressing myself out, had my LMP on 6th October so think I'm 7 weeks, but not really had any symptoms other than using the toilet more frequently and sore breasts.

But those symptoms seem to be subsiding, just as they did when I had a missed miscarriage in March this year.....

I've been debating going for a private early scan, I spoke with my local midwife and she said that's my only option if I want a scan..... would people say it's to early to go for one this weekend?

Kentishgal · 23/11/2018 14:34

Bettyswoll0cks im so sorry - is there any chsnce it could be too early - I read feral might not come till 6+5??

Kentishgal · 23/11/2018 14:34

Me and my bloody feral pole

TwittleBee · 23/11/2018 15:05

Bad news from me too today. 7 week scan was measuring at 6 weeks (10 days ago I was measuring at 5+3). With the bleeding and cramping and loss of plug it all adds up.

Frazzlerock · 23/11/2018 15:10

@TwittleBee was there a heartbeat though?
What did the sonographer say?

trukevoli · 23/11/2018 15:23

Hi! Found out yesterday I am pregnant, currently due 30th July so it might mean I should be in the August thread! I am about 4 weeks and 3 days so very very early days. I lost my last one at about 6 weeks. And i also have a nearly 4 year old (Valentine's day!)

Everyone is feeling a little on edge but i feel more positive about this one then the last. Also I am convinced it is a boy!

TwittleBee · 23/11/2018 15:31

No heartbeat and sonographer said not to get to get hopes up for next scan

Giraffe888 · 23/11/2018 15:32

@trukevoli congratulations! We’re due the same day x

Giraffe888 · 23/11/2018 15:32

@twittlebee I’m so sorry that your scan wasn’t good news xx

Brainfried1986 · 23/11/2018 15:35

So sorry to hear the sad news on here - take care of yourselves ladies, it’s really tough Flowers

I’m feeling crummy today - tired and still slightly ‘off’, not full on nausea but not far off, and waves of almost crying, think I got some new hormones today... Starting to feel more apprehensive about scan next Thursday. Generally I feel like everything will be fine, so if it’s not it’s going to knock me off my feet 😞 Also getting more concerned about the prospect of twins, no reason to suspect it will happen tho I feel like my tummy is huge (probably just bloat) and my symptoms have been much stronger than with my son. I know 2 healthy babies is much better than no baby at all, but I’m still hoping it’s just one...

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 23/11/2018 15:59

@BettySwoll0cks @TwittleBee @itslilsebastian I'm so sorry you haven't had more positive news from your scans today. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that follow up scans will bring some good news.xxxx

Laburna · 23/11/2018 16:26

Oh ladies, I'm so sorry you've not had more positive news from your scans :( fingers crossed for a better outcome at the next scan! It's still so early and measuring so inexact :(

Meg1389 · 23/11/2018 16:36

So sorry to hear of the sad news Sad thinking of you xx

Delilah7 · 23/11/2018 16:37

@TwittleBee I'm so sorry darling x x x

@BettySwoll0cks I missed your post darling. So sorry. Thinking of you xxx

TwittleBee · 23/11/2018 16:38

Really tempted to see if I can book in a private one before my next one in a weeks time. I can't wait 7 weeks. It's too far away

OP posts:
BettySwoll0cks · 23/11/2018 17:01

Thank you for the lovely posts, I just caught up.

@TwittleBee I'm so sorry you had bad news too. My EPU booked me in for 2 weeks time "to confirm" that the foetus isn't developing, so I just paid the deposit for a private one next Thurs. If I haven't started miscarrying by then (it took 4 weeks last time) I will go and see what's going on. I know it won't end well though because even if it does now start developing I will be too far behind. I've been here before

SnailorSwift · 23/11/2018 17:02

Oh @TwittleBee I'm so sorry you didn't have positive news today. When is your next scan due?
