Just because I think we’re getting close to filling the first one. Pull up a pew, bring your decaf tea and all of the carbs!

I think most places don't recommend starting yoga until you are 14 weeks. Not sure why, but that was the advice when I had DS. If you are doing it already you should tell your instructor.

@delilah7 I'm a GG and went up to an HH/J last time, can't remember what I started on 🤔 baby boobs are ridiculous!

If you do have bigger boobs, it's worth thinking about night time bras and breast pads earlier, when you sleep on your side they'll start leaking all over the show, and it's incredibly unpleasant! 🤣

Pregnancy is DELIGHTFUL!

TheCraicDealer · 09/11/2018 20:03

I got as far as don't suddenly take up strenuous exercise and then text the gym guy- don't need to tell me twice no mention of a refund in his response though, bugger.

@pancakes22 I had it in my head we'd be trying ages tbh. DH still doesn't believe it. And it is still really early days so trying not to get too ahead of ourselves, especially since my only symptoms are a late period, feeling of bloatyness and some tiny cramps.

SnailorSwift · 09/11/2018 20:05

@pancakes22 really delighted!!! Was really not expecting it so quickly but on the other hand has been a long time coming - in that we've talked about it for 3 years just wasn't feasible for various reasons.

DH and I were both shocked at how soon it happened though.

Delilah7 · 09/11/2018 20:05

@pancakes22 I feel I fell quite quick. I've been pregnant and am pregnant twice in the last 6 months. Which is baffling lol. I'm nervous but starting to get more and more excited x

@Laburna oh Jesus Christ. Why did I get blessed with big boobies hahaha I don't want them 😭😭😭😭

SnailorSwift · 09/11/2018 20:07

@TheCraicDealer did you just tell him you weren't coming or did gym guy suggest it's not suitable?!

If the second I'd definitely ask for a refund!! Think he should offer one either way though tbh.

SnailorSwift · 09/11/2018 20:08

While we are on the subject of boobs mine are ACHING tonight 😫

Brainfried1986 · 09/11/2018 20:15

@StargazyDrifter I did this one while pregnant last time & really enjoyed it :) tried to do it 3 times a week from 2nd trimester on. I’ll be lucky if I can manage even once a week this time with ds around!

Onestep2 · 09/11/2018 20:17

@pancakes22 we were really shocked actually. Like we only got married 4 weeks ago and im 6 weeks pregs (wel be the talk of the town when people do the maths) 😂😂 Like I couldn't actually believe it lol still trying to get my head around it

Essexgirlupnorth · 09/11/2018 20:19

My boobs are sore and my 5 year old keeps Elbowing me in them.

Have all day nausea and this morning ended up sat the traffic lights next to a fish processing factory that I drive past on my way to work. Was smelling very fishy today. 🤢

One of colleagues announced she was pregnant due to May which led to a discussion of who is going to be next so was keeping very quiet. Kit drinking at the Christmas do is going to be a give away.

Doctors appointment booked for next Friday as don't want to go to my local hospital so have to referred by my GP. I had my daughter at the hospital I want to go to and work there so easier for appointments.

babyHP · 09/11/2018 20:22

Hi everyone! Would love to join you guys in sharing this journey!

I am currently 4+6, very early days but completely over the moon! My husband and I are on cloud 9. This is our 1st, after years of talking about it and only getting married 4 months ago. My estimated DD is 21st July - but waiting to get a confirmation from my midwife on that.

Awaiting my midwife appt but have booked an early scan privately (8 weeks) purely to see if theres 1 or 2 little beans in here!

Trying my best to stay positive and not to stress about every little thing (but its proving very difficult). Just want to be at 12 weeks already!!

Has anyone else booked an early scan? Xx

Jxtina86 · 09/11/2018 20:29

@StargazyDrifter so glad I'm not alone with the cycle confusion! Ovulation date puts me 2 weeks behind what LMP would suggest. Yes hoping all gets sorted at booking in too, although my hospital says dating scan can happen between 10-13 weeks. Hoping they can move the provisional scan date though - definitely can't make it as I'll be in a different country...! We booked it months ago before we even contemplated TTC and seemed we tempted fate just a bit... 🙈

Belmo · 09/11/2018 20:30

pancakes22 we weren’t actually trying, we had an exploding condom incident Blush (I say that a bit guiltily, I do realise how unfair it is that some people have to try so much harder than others).
We hadn’t ruled out having a third, but it certainly wasn’t planned. I am thrilled, though. Dh went from horror to acceptance in about 24hours, and I think is something approaching happy now!

Laburna · 09/11/2018 20:37

@essexgirlupnorth I am with you on the boob pain! Thought I was doing alright with them today and then DS was laying on top of me and pushed himself up, one hand on each boob. I was quite proud I only reacted internally to that one!

I was a really sore hip on one side, I'm going with it being a combination of ligaments stretching and my jeans digging in as it's on the outside of the bone. Had to relent and borrow some pyjama bottoms from DH as have spent half the day with my trousers undone 🤦🏻‍♀️

Frazzlerock · 09/11/2018 20:46

I think I'm the opposite to all of you!

I have PCOS so have struggled to conceive in the past. This little miracle only took 4 months which is very fast for me.

Also my boobs don't really grow much in pregnancy (though they are quite tender)

Re exercise I just wouldn't risk it. Exercise has been one of the things I've irrationally blamed for my MMC. But that means that my body will fall apart during this pregnancy as it's so used to running all the time!
My knees are already seizing up.

I'm so tired. I'm on the train home back from Shoreditch after meeting up with friends.
I'm looking out the train window at this vastly weather and I've no umbrella! Still gotta walk from the station to my car
I cannot wait to be home!

I just want tomorrow to hurry up. This time tomorrow I'll know if our little Popsy is okay or not....

StargazyDrifter · 09/11/2018 20:47

Laburna That's funny about the trousers. Hope you're enjoying the PJs.

Brainfried Thank you, I will read up on yoga and when to start and will keep that one in mind!

Jxinta Sounds perfectly within the laws of TTC - new job, fancy big holiday, impractical new car = BFP!

Google Doc there again for all the New people to fill out! Welcome 😁

I think a few of us have early scans booked babyHP ! I've got one on Tuesday when I will be 5+4

TwittleBee · 09/11/2018 21:44

I'm so stressing now ladies. I'm really really cramping badly. DH has told me to have a bath (like warm of course) to try to relax but can't stop stressing. I know my anxiety is making worse for baby so I need to calm down.

Also had my medication review today too. Consultant said it's best I continue on the drugs I'm on as they work and I shall have extra growth amd development check scans to ensure baby is okay. The medication i am on has a v v v small chance of causing slowed growth and pre term labour but consultant reckons it's better for me to be taking that chance than to be off the meds

SnailorSwift · 09/11/2018 21:51

@TwittleBee DH's advice is good. Try to relax as much as you can - easier said than done I know. 💕

Re. your medication - it sounds like the doctor has a plan; and it's much better all round for you to be as well as possible through this. If you staying well means medication then that's the best plan.

I am on meds as well and was through my last pregnancy. The doctors will weigh up all the options and if you are having extra scans then they will be really on top of things.

Laburna · 09/11/2018 22:01

I had extra scans during my last pregnancy @twittlebee. I know it's a worrying time because you are taking extra medication, but I got my brain around the worry by thinking of all the extra glimpses of baby you will get. You'll end up feeling very sorry for all those ladies who see there baby at 20 weeks and then not again until they arrive!

Try to relax, though I know it's hard. This may be a result of you panicking about the medication and what the review was about. Stress isn't going to worry the baby so please don't think you'll be hurting it. Have a nice bath, chill out for a bit, and let DH look after you for a while xx

Laburna · 09/11/2018 22:22

I feel like I've had all the fluid sucked out of me tonight. My eyes are dry, my mouth is dry, even my nose feels dry.

Ugh. No amount of water drinking is making this better either!

reggiesmama · 09/11/2018 22:51

Hello!
My EDD from LMP is 7th July!
This is my first except for my fur baby and I am so anxious already, over analysing every symptom or non symptom or change in how I feel and absolutely terrified it's not going to stick 😭
Been really comforted reading everybody's messages so thought I'd come and join 😌
Really considering an early scan (private) about 9 weeks for peace of mind! I've had crampy pain on and off and I'm just on the ceiling !! Plus the dodgy tummy... 💩

pancakes22 · 10/11/2018 06:53

@Frazzlerock good luck today for your scan! X

Laburna · 10/11/2018 07:04

@frazzlerock fingers crossed for a good scan!

TwittleBee · 10/11/2018 07:09

Thank you SnailorSwift and Laburna I guess I am bit worried as I went into labour pre term with DS before I was on medication and they always say the 2nd one comes earlier than the first!

So strange about how you feel about all the fluid, Laburna maybe you are coming down with a cold? Or perhaps you're starting to make the amniotic fluid? When do we start making that?

reggiesmama welcome and congrats! Feel free to add yourself to the Google Doc above. Try to not worry too much about the cramping, we have all had it and reckon it's where our little beans are getting secure

TwittleBee · 10/11/2018 07:10

What time is your scan today Frazzlerock ? Let us know how it goes x
