Just because I think we’re getting close to filling the first one. Pull up a pew, bring your decaf tea and all of the carbs!

Hi @twosecs we've transitioned from that list to a Googledoc as it's easier to update. Here it is!

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1y-XaVbeNQM-bCGlr_UxXxcBBNGUfIVQY_4htZRUpbbw/edit#gid=0

We don't have a FB group yet, but happy to start one soon. Although I think the general consensus is wait until we all reach 12 weeks

Frazzlerock · 15/11/2018 12:24

@twosecs oh glad it isn't just me!

Hot sauce is my weapon of choice right now!

MrsC87 · 15/11/2018 12:27

Can someone add me to the google doc too as I can't manage to do it on my phone. I'm due 20/07. Thanks so much.
Yes I'd join a fb group then @twosecs

MyloC · 15/11/2018 12:30

No major updates from me 4+6 today and minimal symtpoms! Just bloating and headaches.
Have booked an early scan just for peace of mind but it’s still not until 11th dec. Thought I’d wait until I’m 8 weeks so there would definitely be something to see.

Frazzlerock · 15/11/2018 12:35

Done @MrsC87 Smile

Capybaras · 15/11/2018 12:35

Hi all! Sorry I’ve dropped off the thread - been keeping up by reading but haven’t had much to contribute! Hope everyone is well, and congratulations to those who have had good scans!
6 weeks today and had my first aversion to last nights leftovers (the broccoli!) so trying not to heave at my desk! Otherwise been feeling fine apart from the fatigue! Have my first midwife appointment next week so excited for that. Will probably book for an early scan if we don’t get a 12 week appointment before Christmas as I don’t think I could wait!
Noticed my boobs have grown too and got veiny (lovely!). Think my Edd is actually earlier at 11/07 but hoping to confirm that with the midwife next week and will update the google doc!
Sorry for the essay!

MrsC87 · 15/11/2018 12:36

Thanks so much @Frazzlerock 😘

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 15/11/2018 12:37

Yesterday I had my booking in appointment with the midwife. Very through. Due to a pre-existing medical issue I've been told I will be under consultant care. Currently 6+1. Haven't been offered a dating scan, just been told to wait for a letter which will give me a date for my 12 week scan, which will be after Xmas. Had really hoped it would of been before then.

Had any awful week. Feeling tired and really sick. But today I'm feeling a lot more normal. How's everyone else feeling?

twosecs · 15/11/2018 12:42

I'm feeling much less nauseous this week, was throwing up last week. V conscious that with my daughter I didn't start puking until after 12 weeks though!

I saw a GP on Tues, couldn't get an appointment at my doctors for anything so they sent me to their 'satellite' clinic, but the doctor had no idea whether his system would link in to let the midwife know I needed an appointment. Two days and three calls to my normal doctors later and they've told me to phone the midwife centre myself, which is fine except NO ONE'S PICKING UP THE BASTARD PHONE.

ohmybaby · 15/11/2018 12:43

I actually feel pretty great - had on/off nausea, fatigue, breathlessness and mad hunger - but thankfully good! Which when I can’t sleep I focus on and decide something’s wrong Grin but it’s my first baby and I’m winging it and trying to let my body guide me. Craving fruit! EDD 07/07.

Anyone else around the 6-7 week mark feel similar?

Delilah7 · 15/11/2018 13:10

Measuring 4/5 weeks. Had a cry. Go back in 2 weeks.

Capybaras · 15/11/2018 13:23

@delilah7 - how far along were you expecting to be? Did baby look good for 4/5 weeks? That’s great you get to see it again in a few weeks!

Belmo · 15/11/2018 13:28

Woke up this morning with a desperate craving for cheese and onion McCoys! All well and good but am vegan 😩 might pop out for salt and vinegar later and see if that hits the spot!
Bit crampy today which I’m trying and failing to not worry about!
Lovely to hear about everyone’s scans! Think I’m going to have to book one, I can’t last another 6 weeks!

DartmoorDoughnut · 15/11/2018 13:30

@Frazzlerock have added myself to the google doc and will definitely join the FB group once it’s set up and I’m a bit further on

@Delilah7 fingers firmly crossed, hopefully you’ve just ovulated a bit later than you thought maybe Flowers

I’m def emotional - have cried at both the John Lewis and Sainsbury’s Christmas ads so far today! - and grumpy, was proper mardy with DH last night poor sod! Feeling nauseous too, had a bite of a mince pie last night and it tasted disgusting, too much booze in it, DH thought it was delicious so at least he can eat them!

Not bothered phoning midwives yet, may do next week, but have had a lovely lazy dog walk with my nearly 2 year old and he’s now napping on me on the sofa

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 15/11/2018 13:32

@Delilah7 how far along did you think you were?

Delilah7 · 15/11/2018 13:41

@Capybaras @ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts @DartmoorDoughnut the more I thought about it I thought maybe 4 as I have 33 day cycle and last period was October 2nd. I hate midwives and doctors go from last menstrual period. Confused the fuck out of me and now I just feel abit broken.
Said everything looks fine.

twosecs · 15/11/2018 13:54

@DartmoorDoughnut I cried at the JL ad too!!

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 15/11/2018 13:58

@Delilah7 it must of been such a shock. It's frustrating the way they date us in early pregnancy.
It's best to take the positives that everything is looking good. I know it's hard but ovulation and implementation aren't always the set timings we've been taught

Delilah7 · 15/11/2018 14:02

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts I just wish they'd set you up more for actually being earlier than that! I should of known but I guess I was just hoping I wasn't that early 😔 xx

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 15/11/2018 14:07

@Delilah7 times going so slowly, isn't it? I desperately want a scan to see what's happening in there but at the same time I'm terrified that I'll get more attached and something will go wrong. I'm going to try and hold out till beginning or middle of December, before I have a scan.

Delilah7 · 15/11/2018 14:14

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts do what's best for you honey and what you feel comfortable doing x x

DartmoorDoughnut · 15/11/2018 14:18

@Delilah7 that’s a relief! Hope next scan shows progression and puts your mind at ease Flowers

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts nice to see another doughnut name Grin

DartmoorDoughnut · 15/11/2018 14:18

@twosecs got to love hormones!

Delilah7 · 15/11/2018 14:19

@DartmoorDoughnut just sucks there was no embryo. But that sacks a good sign x x

amanda2809 · 15/11/2018 14:20

@twosecs and @Frazzlerock there is a fb group: www.facebook.com/groups/294738377802514/ It's closed (you have to request to join) but not secret so that people can find it :)

I'm feeling pretty grim. No one thing in particular just a mix of tiredness, caffiene withdrawl, slight nausea and emotions!

Before I got my BFP I applied to another job, well two positions within the same company, and I found out this week I was shortlisted for interview for both! Had to email them this morning to decline the interviews which is making me feel a bit glum. Would have been more money and responsibility but further to travel and less maternity pay. So makes sense to stay where I am.
