Just because I think we’re getting close to filling the first one. Pull up a pew, bring your decaf tea and all of the carbs!

Frazzlerock · 15/11/2018 09:50

@Laburna yes I wondered if it was the cyclogest. I normall do eat gluten and sugar. I just stopped for a few weeks when I found out it can negatively impact PCOS. I've never really had a problem with bloating from gluten and sugar, not that I've noticed anyway. But maybe those few weeks without then gave me some sort of temporary intolerance so that now I am eating normally again my body is a bit confused? I might call the MW anyway

SnailorSwift · 15/11/2018 09:52

@xine15 hope all is ok.

@Frazzlerock I'd probably put that down to the change in diet! I don't eat gluten or dairy and very little processed sugar (unless I want a treat 🤗) they cause me terrible bloating. It's not uncommon to have bloating after reintroducing any of those 3!

SnailorSwift · 15/11/2018 09:53

@Frazzlerock after your last post - reintroducing them after a break can cause bloating as you've said!

MrsC87 · 15/11/2018 09:56

Morning ladies, hope the scan goes well @xine15 💕
Have you ladies had mood swings since pregnant? I could literally rip someone's head off today and totally not in the mood for work. My muscles ache in my hip and a bit in my shoulder too which is making me worry! Just want to go home.

Laburna · 15/11/2018 10:05

Definitely @MrsC87, have had the rage, today I have the crying. Can't seem to stop them either way.

Kentishgal · 15/11/2018 10:06

I too have the bloating - I really look about 4 months pregnant. I also cut out gluten (as much as I could) because I'd heard it helped endometriosis - but reintroduced it last week - even so, I look huge!

Tad worried as had op in July and surgeon said I was at high risk of ectopic - I completed a self referral form but haven't heard from midwife or anybody yet so think I might make a gp appointment tomorrow just to get checked out.

Hate the not knowing - so stressful!

Frazzlerock · 15/11/2018 10:07

Thanks for the advice guys, sounds like it could be a mix of changing my diet about too much and the cyclogest. Annoying though!

Re mood swings, don't watch the new John Lewis ad...

Kentishgal · 15/11/2018 10:08

Ps yes! Sooo moody with my husband!

5fivestar · 15/11/2018 10:09

Nervously popping a toe inside the door to wave 👋
I think I’m due 15th July, I’ve booked an early scan for the 1st of December until then I cannot even begin to get excited although of course I’m grinning from ear to ear inside.

DartmoorDoughnut · 15/11/2018 10:43

Morning 😊

Congratulations to everyone Flowers

I’ve an EDD of 25/7 but I’m panicking about every little twinge at the moment but hopefully I’ll be here for the long run! Will be our third (and last!) so everything crossed it sticks

xine15 · 15/11/2018 10:53

Wooo back from scan. All fine, even saw a heartbeat which I wasn’t holding my breath on so early. So relieved after a scary night and really impressed in my local maternity services!

Frazzlerock · 15/11/2018 10:53

@5fivestar and @DartmoorDoughnut welcome and congratulations.

We have a Googledoc running if you'd like to add yourselves

Frazzlerock · 15/11/2018 10:54

@xine15 lovely news! I bet that has put your mind at rest for a bit!

Frazzlerock · 15/11/2018 10:57

So what have they said? What was causing your shoulder pain etc?

KinCat · 15/11/2018 11:03

xine15 how far along are you? I've been having bad cramps on my left side this evening. I'm hoping its just constipation but I don't know. It's a sharp pain that comes and goes. I'm 4+3 today - not sure how early they'd be able to scan and see.

xine15 · 15/11/2018 11:18

@KinCat 6weeks today, and the scan said the same so that's reassuring.

@Frazzlerock no idea about the shoulder, must have just pulled it somehow! Yes it is such a relief!

SnailorSwift · 15/11/2018 12:02

@Kentishgal was your surgery endo related? Did the consultant feel you were high risk for ectopic due to the endo or another reason?

Sorry to pry just I had surgery for endo in May.

KinCat · 15/11/2018 12:04

xine15 so lovely! Glad you had such a positive experience.

Twistering · 15/11/2018 12:06

Hearing you all on the bloating. I am normally really regular, but am so flipping constipated. TMI but scared to strain too! Prob not helped by all the bread I’m eating!

Kentishgal · 15/11/2018 12:12

Snailorswift not prying at all! I'm not 100% sure and was quite groggy st the time so stupidly never asked! I had fallopian tube removed and endo scarring - but had quite a it of scarring on womb from previous haemorrhage - so I'm not sure which of those reasons! However, I googled and I think all three can be risk factors! I also have a shoulder pain so that's not helping the panic - but think that could be my slipped discs - I'm a walking disaster!!

Do you mind me asking what they said to you and what you had done?

I'm sure with my first I just got on with it and didn't think about any risks - ignorance is bliss I guess!!

Oh ffs posted too early!! I'm nearly 8 weeks pregnant with my second child, can I join?

I have had SO much support from my first Mumsnet baby group, is this one on facebook yet? I don't mind setting a (v closed and secret!) group up if anyone is keen?

MrsC87 · 15/11/2018 12:19

Yes I'd like to join a very secret Facebook group. But would fb friends see you e joined it?

twosecs · 15/11/2018 12:21

@frazzlerock just seen from the googledocs that everything tastes bland to you. I had a Wagamamas yesterday and it tasted like dishwater. Devastated. Had this with DD1 but had completely forgotten about it!

twosecs · 15/11/2018 12:22

@MrsC87 No - if it's closed and secret then it won't appear anywhere that your contacts could see
