Just because I think we’re getting close to filling the first one. Pull up a pew, bring your decaf tea and all of the carbs!

@beckanne90 i usually ALWAYS get the bagel without the egg but had a brain fart and got a sausage mcmuffin without the egg.... coz lets face it the eggs are disgusting!

i really need to get a grip with my eating, i stepped on the scales this morning. ive put on 7lbs in a month but in my own defence the first 2 weeks of that was all inclusive holiday before we got the BFP where i was obviously having 4 meals a day plus snacks plus THEEEE most delish cocktails ever. lol so yeah am obv waiting till monday anyway. no1 starts healthy eating on the weekends right???????

ohmybaby · 09/11/2018 10:54

I actually am so worried about my weight again with this baby Onestep2

Beckanne90 · 09/11/2018 11:00

@Onestep2 I love the bagels and no ew the eggs are awful from there. Only type of egg I eat at home is scrambled.

Midwife booking have just rang and I have my appointment on Monday the 26th.

Onestep2 · 09/11/2018 11:15

@Twittlebee me too!! really going to have to try and stop eating as much!

has anyone succesfully done SW or another diet plan during previous pregnancies?

@beckanne90 how man weeks will you be at your midwife appointment? i have my first one on tuesday and i will be 6+3weeks

itsallgreek · 09/11/2018 11:19

Copied from other thread

@StargazyDrifter after getting my test results and speaking to a midwife she tells me it's normal and I should go back for my already booked scan at my doctor who's thrilled with hurty boobies (seems that's the best symptom to have that proves I'm still pregnant) in Wednesday the 14th to see heart activity and get the final OK that I have a successful pregnancy...

I feel much better having taking things into my own hands and getting tested and speaking to other doctors to make sure mine was doing things right

On another note my other blood tests came back I've got low iron so I'll be drinking my supplements 3 times a day now woohoo Envy and my sugars high so hot to start eating better and cutting sugar out Angry

@ohmybaby Ohhhh snap lots of things on common. I can also teach you how to man at your DH in Greek. I'm sure he'll be thrilled hehehehe

Beckanne90 · 09/11/2018 11:22

7+3 by LMP @Onestep2, she said they aim for around the 8 week mark now. So that’s changed since I had my other kids. I’ve got the same midwife though as my last 2 babies; I think she will be shocked to see me again Blush

itsallgreek · 09/11/2018 11:23

*moan at DH not man... That would be weird Grin

Holty99 · 09/11/2018 12:16

Hi,

Can I join? Been lurking for ages but I'm 4+6 today and have just freaked myself out by doing another digital test. I calculated that I wouldn't get a 3+ until at least tomorrow so am now annoyed I did it today (and obviously got 2-3)!

I had FET with 2 embryos put back so am now cacking myself it's twins as I already have teenage twins. Due 13th July.

Belmo · 09/11/2018 12:26

Hi Holty99 wow two sets of twins would be something!

I put on four and a half stone 😱 with my last night pregnancy and still have two to lose. I am determined not to let it happen again, although I don’t have a plan of action yet (and the hunger is hitting me already...)

Onestep2 · 09/11/2018 12:35

@Belmo i am terrible for being a yo-yo dieter over the last few years - put on a stone, lose 2, put on 2 n half, lose a stone, put on half a stone etc etc so i think i will REALLY struggle if i dont get a plan of action in place and PRONTO.

@holty99 hello! wow twins!! my gran once predicted i would have twins, i really hope that she is wrong!

edidxb · 09/11/2018 12:35

Thanks @DianaBlythe for the new thread - love the intro to it!
@Frazzlerock - good luck for the scan tomorrow - how exciting. I totally understand the nerves though too as I have been there too.
Welcome to all the newcomers! Love the googledoc @twittlebee too. I love a spreadsheet too!
I am finally beating my bronchitis and have been back at work the last 3 days. I was SO tired last night, I went to bed just after 9 and work up at 7am - 10 hours sleep! I usually wake up at 530/6 on weekends just like the week but not today! And then I almost fell asleep this afternoon....
@itsallgreek I am really pleased to see/hear things are going well for you after the early scare.

I am also on progesterone pessaries, progesterone tablets, baby aspirin, my pregnare vit, Vitamin D and an Osteocare VitD/Calcium liquid all prescribed my doctor! She is British (I live in Dubai) and therefore not like some of the other doctors here who prescribe at the drop of the hat but I am happy to take anything which will help after my previous MMC.

I am back to the doctor tomorrow (6 weeks exactly) for another check (she asked me to come back) after my HCG blood tests last week. Not sure if I will get a scan or not....but even if I do I think it will be too early for a heartbeat even if everything else is OK.

I had some nausea for the first time yesterday too! Although it has gone again today.....

itsallgreek · 09/11/2018 13:03

New symptom... Uncontrollable raging hunger.. Can't seem to feel full today. I wanna go home and cook a fry up or something coz I'm starving and I've already eaten everything I brought to eat at work Blush

Frazzlerock · 09/11/2018 13:24

Have you all seen the baby blanket offer at the top of the Pregnancy topic? I've just ordered one, bear in mind it is £5 postage but £6 isn't bad for a nice blanket.

pancakes22 · 09/11/2018 14:00

Hello new thread!

The staff of 7 weeks today and the sickest day yet today. Twice have been sick in my mouth but luckily it hasn't gone much further than that. My little one desperate for me to play and I'm just looking at her from the sofa thinking I really don't want to!! #Mumguilt

pancakes22 · 09/11/2018 14:00

The Start* of 7 weeks that was meant to say

HSapr · 09/11/2018 14:22

Had tummy ache and 4 bouts of diarrhoea today so that was fun! Is this technically a symptom?? Trying (again!) not to worry!

Frazzlerock · 09/11/2018 14:25

@HSapr I had that the other day! It was all day too. I think it is just our digestive systems being taken over by relaxin or something more scientific. I've now not pooed for two days since. Delightful!

Can't wait for the next eagle to land....

Frazzlerock · 09/11/2018 14:27

@pancakes22 similar to me. I am 7 weeks tomorrow and nausea began properly yesterday. No doubt it will disappear and cause me unnecessary worry.

pancakes22 · 09/11/2018 14:37

Also in team diarrhoea rather than team constipation!

HSapr · 09/11/2018 14:52

Ah okay! Well welcome to the team!! I need to take a chill pill. Anyone got any good methods of taking your mind off things or not worrying?!

TwittleBee · 09/11/2018 14:59

Ladies, idk who else to turn to about to worry. Just been in a car crash. In A&E right now. I feel fine apart from my back but so scared

Frazzlerock · 09/11/2018 15:02

What!? What happened? Have you told them you are pregnant, they might see you quicker?

Onestep2 · 09/11/2018 15:03

@twittlebee omg!! Are you okay? What happened? How bad was the crash?

SnailorSwift · 09/11/2018 15:07

Oh @TwittleBee are you ok?
I was in a crash in 3rd trimester with DS it was horrible but we were both ok.
