Way to go Bumper!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!

hollyandalice · 20/06/2007 20:25

You are not rambling Klaw! Thanks for the advice and it's good to know we have choices, TA is a great example of that!

mumof4aceboys · 20/06/2007 20:25

Hi Klaw - are you a MW?

foxybrown · 20/06/2007 20:28

Thanks Klaw! Really appreciate your advice. I have a sense of 'my luck running out' this time round. Its been my most worrying pg so am more nervous than before, despite being more experienced. I'm just worrying myself, thanks for the positive support x

hollyandalice · 20/06/2007 20:31

Stats thread updated!! Anyone heard from catsuitgirl lately?

Klaw · 20/06/2007 20:31

No, Mumof4, maybe one day, if I can face dealing with the protocols and procedures and hoops...

Had to learn a lot to plan my VBAC, still have loads to learn, but am very passionate!

If I encourage others to just stop, consider their options before making choices I'm happy. Wish I'd had this kind of support and info when I had my first, but I was soooooo naive

Hope I've not stepped on any toes..

hollyandalice · 20/06/2007 20:35

Just searched for catsuitgirl messages and she was last seen on the 12th saying she was going to be induced on her due date which was 2 days ago! So she should be holding her lo by now!

foxybrown · 20/06/2007 20:36

I think thats the beauty of MN, that there is a wealth of experience to share. TA is a good example, I've learnt a lot about Expectant Management this week because of her situation. I hadn't even heard of it before, despite this being number 4.

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 20/06/2007 20:39

Yippee for Bumper

Wow - that was a quick one wasn't it??

foxybrown · 20/06/2007 20:40

Righto, better go and dry/straighten my hair ready for my Last Big Day Out For A Year. Look out for me on the telly - I'm the fat one!

Thinking of you tonight TA, you are so very, very close to having this baby

Night all xx

hollyandalice · 20/06/2007 20:42

Hope you have a lovely time tomorrow foxy! I shall look out for you, if I spy you I'll hit sky+!

foxybrown · 20/06/2007 20:44

As long as I'm not on because I'm being 'blue-lighted' out of there!!

hollyandalice · 20/06/2007 20:45

It could be like the birth of jesus, born in a stable and all! You could be the virgin mary !

mumof4aceboys · 20/06/2007 20:46

Klaw - no sorry. You seem so nice and informed. Kind of guessed you werent a MW! My sister is a MW and your nicer than she is!! Keep up the good work Mrs!! I agree that women should have more choices available. However I was swept or induced with 3 out of 4 of my PG's and honestly didnt find labours that much different to going natural. Guess im lucky.

foxybrown · 20/06/2007 20:48

now that's taking it a bit far Holly

foxybrown · 20/06/2007 20:49

DP will probably get the bookies to run odds on how weight etc!

riabutterflew · 20/06/2007 20:52

Congratulations bumper and well done TA for being such a trooper.

Have a good day tomorrow foxy and chin up to holly.

Back in a bit...

foxybrown · 20/06/2007 20:53

RIA! BEFORE YOU DISAPPEAR Boy or girl?

are you OK? Congratulations!

hollyandalice · 20/06/2007 20:54

Hey Ria, hope you and lo are well! Thanks for the email!

foxybrown · 20/06/2007 20:58

bugger! she's gone!

Are you feeling any better now Holly?

hollyandalice · 20/06/2007 21:03

Yeah, feeling better. Had a massive glass of wine, which helped I am sure! I just want my baby! It's not fair! I am fed up with people phoning dp or me and thinking it's a big joke that this baby is late as well. If I hear one more person say "Oh she's just lazy/selfish/rude" and think it's really funny I swear I am going to go round to their house with a big bat and do them some sort of facial damage!

annobal · 20/06/2007 21:05

Hi Ria, congratulations! I want to hear all the gory details .

Night Foxy, have a great day tomorrow.

I know what you mean about learning so much as you go along. This is my 3rd and there is so much I don't know. Having an indep MW this time has totally openned my eyes to a lot of things - she's also against induction unless necessary.

Anyway, off to watch Rome, because I am a saddo and LOVE IT - besides, The Apprentice finished last week.

TA - if you come back on - happy birthing

annobal · 20/06/2007 21:08

Holly - I'm already over people saying to me 'still here then'... You do know how quickly it happens though and it sounds as though everything is moving...

foxybrown · 20/06/2007 21:14

And Holly, there are some of us who are going to be on this AN thread MUCH longer than you... I'll still be here middle of July. Alone. By myself. No-one to talk to, you'll all be snug on PN thread with LOs to cuddle... [sob]

What a pisser!

Am really going now. Night all xxx

doggus · 20/06/2007 21:16

Gosh,I'm blown away by bumper, thinking back to when she and I were miserable and depressed for the first trimester, and now she has whizzed through labour on gas and air, amazing.

WELL DONE BUMPER!
