How's the sleep going daisy? Any sort of routine yet?

foxybrown · 15/06/2007 22:26

Mine are - like floppy rabbit ears!

trendaverter · 15/06/2007 22:26

I'm off to bed.
Very tired and might need the energy!

Have a good night all!!

hollyandalice · 15/06/2007 22:27

Thought they were pitta pockets foxy!!

Big Brother is so shit! Why the fuck am I watching it? What a bunch of knobs!

foxybrown · 15/06/2007 22:28

I'm off to bed, having been terribly productive!

night night fluffy, twinkly, sparkly huggie buddies mwah mwah

bumperlicious · 15/06/2007 22:28

Have you lot been drinking ...

TA, I think it is an accolade to DH that your 'toy' is dusty! I had to replace mine as I wore it out

Holly I am actually of your ribena! I love the stuff but it always always gives me headaches, even the really light stuff. So I have to settle for shops own blackcurrent squash which I am addicted to at the moment. Weirdly, most supermarkets don't do blackcurrent on it's own - only apple and blackcurrent (yuk) why is that?

Goodnight TA! Hope something happens tonight, or maybe in the morning after a good sleep!

Sleep well, have lots of sparkly dreams about fluffy clouds, kittens and glitter xxx

foxybrown · 15/06/2007 22:30

Actually at the moment they are fantastic They are very lovely jiggly-wobbly round.

Sadly they will return to being pitta pockets by the New Year

hollyandalice · 15/06/2007 22:30

Night foxy, hope your dreams are full of glitter too xxx

daisyboo · 15/06/2007 22:30

We have a great daytime routine....feeds well then sleeps for four hours. Nightimes are crrraaaazy though....feeds for two hours, sleeps for less than two hoours, feeds for two hours.....you get the picture...the short summer nights just farking fly by, then I spend all morning catching up on Zzzzzzsssss.

trying her in the pram tonight as she sleeps in that through the day and it is smaller and more enclosed than the crib so she maybe feels more secure. We've also been on the infacol as well today as she seems much more windy through the night.

I suppose I should be in bed now really, getting at least some rest before it starts all over again, but the lure of a live birth thread is just too much for me!

Been experimenting with names and 8outof10cats was available...obviously it's mine now, but we can see if tech can transfer it to you, holly, if you want it?

hollyandalice · 15/06/2007 22:32

I love 'bena bumper!! Sainsburys do blackcurrant high juice, as do asda, but it's quite popular and not always available. I am a squash fanatic!

daisyboo · 15/06/2007 22:34

my norks are, sadly, still very much like womble snouts.

good night ladies......

hollyandalice · 15/06/2007 22:35

Oooo, love the 8out10cats name daisy! I think I'm going for treaclesponge though, if only to make foxy cross!! Good idea about putting em in the pram. Hope it works! I'm sure the bfing will get more regular and less hellish, I am really not looking forward to that madness!

hollyandalice · 15/06/2007 22:36

Goodnight daisy! Hope it's a less milky one xx

bumperlicious · 15/06/2007 22:38

Mine are like squashed lemons!

bumper...we got some very very very nice blueberry squash in mands....but it was very very expensive. but absolutely yummy scrumptious.

Before I go to bed......DS came into the kitchen tonight telling us that Emily had been sucking his little finger. "oh, I hope your hands are clean" says I. "bleargh" says DS wiping his hand on his jumper, "I'll have germs on my fingers now". Bless him

bumperlicious · 15/06/2007 22:43

Bless the mystic red ranger! Night daisy, hoe you get more sleep tonight!

riabutterflew · 15/06/2007 22:45

You have all been very funny tonight.

I am because I had a nice long bath with a book and when I came downstairs I had missed a text from my friend offering wine and reflexology. Too late now and my PJs would scare them away! s'pose I might still be here next Friday night!

How are you losing such vast amounts of weight daisy? Slow down so I have chance to catch up (I have 10 years worth to off-load somewhere... I'll never be pre-DS1 weight, in fact I don't know what that was. If I can get into half the jeans I have stored away by winter I'll be happy. Then new smaller clothes next summer?).

dogtanian · 15/06/2007 22:45

I am a muskerhound!!

Klaw · 15/06/2007 22:45

Hello, just checking up on you DomesticGrumpess!!!

So honoured to have been with you last night and so sorry I couldn't get to you any earlier than I did. Rhuaridh is a dream!

Can I just let everyone else know that I am so proud of DG and that she is amazingly strong and self confident, she rode out the little wobbles that I'm sure she had and continued to trust her body to carry and birth her baby at the right time. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that perfect little darling boy!

It just goes to show that informed choice about individual circumstances, and expectant management is FAR superior to blanket hospital policies whose only interest is prevention of litigation.

bumperlicious · 15/06/2007 22:45

Bed for me too I think. My eyes are going funny (but that's probably coz I'm too lazy to go and get my glasses!) So if I am going to make all the effort to get off the sofa it might as well be straight into bed! Besides sleep is the only thing that is going to stop me polishing off the biscuits!

loving dogtanian if that's you holly....

....i've tried loads of cartoon character names but they've all been taken!

bumperlicious · 15/06/2007 22:47

That's really sweet Klaw, I bet she did a great job. And don't worry, we are looking after her on here. Some of us might even get to the post natal thread with her before the end of the month!

daisyboo · 15/06/2007 22:48

It sounds like DG had a great experience!

daisyboo · 15/06/2007 22:49
