Wow!!!! Didn't think we'd get a graduate from this thread just yet. Huge Congratulations Jamantha, that is such fantastic news!!!! What a lovely name.

She looks so beautiful and a lovely size for being a early.

Bodkin · 14/06/2007 19:22

Congratulations Jamantha - she is beautiful! 2 paracetamol indeed - talk about raising the bar for the rest of us

huskygirl · 14/06/2007 19:56

wow congrats jamantha! I hope your enjoying getting used to your little bundle! She is very cute!

Had scan today to continue monitoring growth, everything still fine got to have another one at 38 weeks in 4 weeks time which will be my 5th . No complaining tho, still love to see him/her! DH sat on the chair next to me and had DD on his lap (age 2.4) and she started stroking my hair and head when i was laying on the couch having the scan saying "its alright mummy" bless her!!!!

JennsterFrogLover · 14/06/2007 20:27

Congratulations Charlotte and Jamantha. Well done!

abgirl · 14/06/2007 20:39

Jamantha, many congratulations on the lovely Charlotte - she looks so cute! Will have to change the stats list for tomorrow...

Still no baby here and head can apparently be engaged for weeks before labour starts but am seeing consultant tomorrow to book elective c-section so at least I will have a final end date after the appointment!

Bags all packed and ready, bought final items yesterday which were newborn nappies - they're so small - at least compared to the monster size that DS wears .

twoplusone · 14/06/2007 20:47

goodluck tommorrow, abgirl..

dewmeadow · 14/06/2007 20:48

Had just written huge message when broadband booted me out! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

dewmeadow · 14/06/2007 20:50

Congrats Jamantha and welcome to the world baby Charlotte

2 paracetamol!!!!

My bambino is in a good position and his/her head is on the brim of my pelvis but not quite engaged. Sometimes it feels to me like hes squirming down, and when I walk up the stairs it definitely feels like Ive a head between my legs.

abgirl · 14/06/2007 21:00

dewmeadow, I took DS to a particularly vigourous music lesson on Monday morning (lots of row, row, row your boat etc), which I am sure is when baby's head shuffled down into my pelvis!

weepiglet2 · 14/06/2007 21:53

Congratulations Jamantha!

what a hard act to follow - hope you get her home soon - she looks gorgeous

berrysmum · 14/06/2007 22:13

Congratulations Jamantha!!! Charlotte is beautiful. What an act to follow eh girls?!

agnesnitt · 14/06/2007 22:22

Abgirl, I can just imagine everyone on the floor of the living room after everyone is in bed furiously rowing their boats

quick update while i wait for next feed.
charlotte is still in scbu, had fluid transfusion today as blood was too thick, is on phototherapy for jaundice and antibiotics because i had infection. they think my infection may have caused early labour. hope to b clear of scbu tomorrow lunchtime and home at weekend. so while great to have her and miss last weeks of preg, its not all plain sailing. and short labour was good and lack of pain relief sounds impressive it blinking hurt!!! only managed by being VERY vocal (get your fingers out of me!! no i'm not being brave i just don't have any choice, i can't do it please make it stop) and thankfully dh and mw very forgiving.

good wishes to all for equally spedy but less painful births, and i shall keep following progress. and i dont know how the pics got o the web - dh did that bit

Myfairone · 15/06/2007 07:37

Jamantha, Heres hoping that Charlotte is out of SCBU very soon and well enough to go home.

You sound like you did a great job and I am sure that everything you said and did are now forgotten by anyone who had to listen to it!

Have a great weekend taking baby Charlotte home and introducing her to everyone.

Groveregg · 15/06/2007 09:27

There's another one arrived - no not me but just spotted auntymandy's post in the "Birth Announcements"!

justbeme · 15/06/2007 09:44

Congratulations Jamantha!! All the ladies from the June thread will be very of you!! Hope all goes well and your home soon.

typhoonsmum · 15/06/2007 09:47

Congrats to auntymandy as well. It's getting scary now. Birth is immenent. It has been 7-8 months of being months away and now it is weeks if not days away for a lot of us.

HELP ME! I'VE CHANGED MY MIND. I'M NOT READY!

Groveregg · 15/06/2007 09:52

Me neither typhoonsmum!!! I veer between wanting it to arrive early so that I don't have to feel pregnant and hormonal any more and wanting it to be at least another 3 months so I can be a bit more prepared...

LieselVentouse · 15/06/2007 09:58

Cmon humour me - tell me how many have dropped so far?

Chooster · 15/06/2007 10:14

Congrats to AuntyMandy too!!!! Will go and have a look through the childbirth announcements - I love a good birth story - if only mine wasn't around the corner i'd enjoy them more

Groveregg · 15/06/2007 10:22

Just the two Liesel... how's your bump doing?

Its doing fine thanks, found out Im having another girl. How are all of you?

Caroline1852 · 15/06/2007 10:55

I keep talking about packing the hospital bag and making lists for what to put in the hospital bag but still haven't done it! I haven't even got a cot yet for new baby. Phil & Teds Sport with doubles kit and cocoon arrived early in the week, it is still boxed in the hall. Have slept really badly the past 3 nights. Which means I just hobble through the days.... so annoying.
