Sorry that should be without getting kicked!

That's great Holly - can you put her in her own bed for tonight?

hollyandalice · 11/06/2007 20:47

Yep, she is going in her own bed and staying there if it kills me! She was so good for ages, but all of a sudden she has turned all clingy again. Maybe she knows that something is about to happen that will turn her little world upside down! Poor lamb!

annobal · 11/06/2007 20:50

It is difficult isn't it - T & G are 3 1/2 and 2 and are really clingy at the moment - even though we do talk about the new baby with them.

annobal · 11/06/2007 20:52

Am off to bed now, after a lovely day at the seaside. Night all.

westcoaster · 11/06/2007 20:59

Well if this isn't labour, I blardy want to know what is wrong with me. Have just spent 15 mins scrubbing utility room floor with disinfectant and a PROPER SCRUBBING BRUSH. This from the woman who split mayonnaise down the side of the fridge yesterday and immediately wondered how long she could leave it until it began to smell.......

hollyandalice · 11/06/2007 21:08

Oooo, good nesting WC! Hope it kicks off soon!

Night annobal, hope you get a good sleep x

westcoaster · 11/06/2007 21:10

Must be labour - have also cleaned mayonnaise off fridge Off to do the ironing and achieve fully state of smug....or dilation

Oh DG - blardy pancake place - thought their USP was COMFORT food??? Hope a wee bit of a carbo-load has made you feel better.

Of course, would never happen in a friendly place like Glasgow.....

trendaverter · 11/06/2007 21:49

nite all, off to try and dream of ripening cervix, or something.

TALLULAHBELLE · 11/06/2007 21:55

Good luck with that T/A.

I jumped about like a woman possessed in the pool tonight. Waters didn't break - at least don't think so but hopefully all the leapfrogging etc will have some effect.

riabutterflew · 11/06/2007 22:36

Congratulations on the arrival of Finlay. Lovely name.

Good luck for tomorrow SFL. Hope it's "a piece of piss"!

at derlor for the jeans.

My BP is passable so I had to go to the meeting at school with DH, but he "sorted" it. Probably won't have done DS any favours, but at least we stuck up for him instead of simpering and backing down.

My DS2 watched the MW do my BP this morning (he normally runs away and hides). DH discovered him with the cat and a bicycle pump after lunch, taking the cats blood pressure (think he was going to do it internally IYSWIM!). He also pointed out she had dirty shoes!

Must go, having a lovely cool beer and manadarin cheesecake.

Night all.

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi as I've been lurking for a while (after posting a hello message on the stats thread by mistake ).

I'm due on the 29th June and have been not very active on the July thread (we got our due date wrong by weeks), but June seems so much more real as people are having actual BABIES! Congratulations to everyone who's had one

I live in London, am a Scottish expat (will go back in a few years) and our buyer pulled out of buying our flat last week(marvellous timing ), so we're still up the stairs with an 18 month old and hopefully not another c-section! If anyone has anything positive to say about VBACs, I'd love to hear it! (scared, scared, scared!)

TALLULAHBELLE · 11/06/2007 23:35

Will be thinking of you tomorrow SFL.

Hi - 3 flights- welcome .

Morning everyone. Been up since 5.30 - that'll teach me to be smug about how well I was sleeping the other day. But actually not feeling too bad. Made DH a nice cup of tea in bed (he's still in the spare room poor lamb!).

Got to trek into town today to buy a father's day prezzy for my dad. Have no clue what to get him. Any clues? He's a drama teacher, mid 40's, bit quirky, likes juggling, reading, arsenal (but other than that isn't really very blokey) and snowboarding and has just bought a new house and has two young boys (10 and 11 or something like that). Get your personal shopping hats on girlies!

trendaverter · 12/06/2007 07:23

Morning all!
Well DH kindly tried to do his bit to encourage labour last night by generously donating some of his prostaglandins... I am still very pregnant but thanks to the big 'O' he gave me ('O' for 'O'xytocins, obviously ) I care less.

I feel great, I slept the best I have in days!

Now I just need to give birth.

bumperlicious · 12/06/2007 07:49

Glad you slept well TA, hopefully that is a good sign. What's the count for you now? Any talk of induction from the MW yet? My dr mentioned it the other day when I was 38 weeks !

trendaverter · 12/06/2007 07:50

Bumper I would love to help you but I can't even decide for my own father...he is going to have to make do with an Amazon gift voucher.

He's pissed off with me now anyway as the chances are high I am going to mess up his fathers day bbq plans by being induced.
