Interesting question.

And one that I have no idea the answer to. I have heard you can feel a pop, but I am a novice at this baby malarky.

derlor · 11/06/2007 18:43

Hi TA and Tallulah, >>
all quiet here just now so taking the opportunity to try to keep up - can't believe how much you miss on here if you don't log on for a couple of days!!
waters breaking in the pool think you might feel it but not entirely sure?? mine broke when i was sleeping so easy to feel THAT!!!

derlor · 11/06/2007 18:45

TA i just looked at your profile - you are one hot chick - bet syou still look great even with your cauliflower ass!!! at that expression by the way - ROFL

annobal · 11/06/2007 18:52

Hi everyone,

Have just finished catching up for the day - you guys have been chatty!

SFL - good luck for tomorrow. I've sent you a text - let me know when 'things' happen and I can update everyone!!

Derlor at you fitting into your jeans - they are just a distant memory for me...
btw - I love you photo, she is sooooo cute

Foxy - your photo is lovely - you look so glam and your LOs look so angelic - can't believe they would ever do anything wrong

DH had the day off work today and we were on our way to the gym when he suggested we go to the seaside instead - so we spent the day in Whitstable - it was lovely and we've just arrived home.

annobal · 11/06/2007 18:53

Sorry - forgot to say that your photo is lovely - don't believe that you have a cauliflower arse though...

trendaverter · 11/06/2007 18:57

Hello Derlor!! I can't believe I am talking to you, not only was your birth 'a piece of piss' but you are back in your jeans. I have severed good friendships over less jealousy than that.

Thanks for the comments re the photo... ahh those were the days, before lard ate my features
I should probably put a more recent (ie, less flattering) picture on. I look the same...just a tad wider.

I think I took the phrase 'eating for two' a little to heart, and figured that it was ok to eat for two fully grown men. Ahh well, starvation and a gym memebership will see me right

annobal · 11/06/2007 18:58

DOH - that last message was for TA

trendaverter · 11/06/2007 19:06

TBH I agree with bumper, the wonderful thing about this place is that looks don't matter, in my eyes everyone in here is gorgeous and from what I see of the profile pics I have no reason to think otherwise, you ladies are beautiful.

Everyone is slim and glam and sexy even with their big bumps in here.

RL can be a disappointment sometimes - in here I feel like an equal, I can talk chocolate without feeling fat and guilty, I can sit in my pj's chatting and feel confident, in RL I can be very self conscious about my weight at the mo - gotta love virtual living!

derlor · 11/06/2007 19:10

vitrual life certainly proves that it is what is on the inside that counts - i agree people can be so self conscious but also so judgemental so none of that exists on here and it is lovely x

hollyandalice · 11/06/2007 19:10

Evening all! Derlor you are a witch! I still had a stone of baby weight to lose from dd when I got pg again! I have put my size 12 jeans in the loft so I never have to look at them again! My size 10 tops have been donated to my sister, I can never see my norks being that small again!

Foxy aren't you foxy?! I look like a bag of shite compared to you lot! TA you are beautiful too! I used to be quite presentable, I feel I have let myself go somewhat! Oops!

Holly i truely can't explain what has happened this time round - i certainly wasn't back in my jeans by this stage with the other 2 (or indeed 6 months later!!)- i think that i have been struggling to eat so much in the last few weeks cause there was just no bloody room that i actually lost weight - watch it all pile on in the next few weeks thought - i think my jeans will not be on for long!!!
oh oh Abbie awake.... se ya x

hollyandalice · 11/06/2007 19:18

Well done though! It is truly an achievement to be back to "normal" so soon!

Anyone watching freaky eaters?! Good grief - addicted to spaghetti hoops of all things

hollyandalice · 11/06/2007 19:37

I was going to watch it, but I'm watching the re-run of the grease show on itv 2. I sky+ed it, but I may as well watch it now whilst it's on!

God I'm so hot again! Will this pregnancy ever end?

Bumper - I've added to your reflexology thread.
Seems like it might be working??? Lets see??
DH has agreed to some 'jiggy jiggy' (as Mr Delor put it) tonight woo hooo! I have made it clear that I don't expect pleasuring - I just want his prosaglandins!!

hollyandalice · 11/06/2007 19:39

Lol dkma! It would be better if you do get pleasured! Orgasms release oxytocin, the same hormone released whilst bfing, which can get things going as well!

OP posts:
Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 11/06/2007 19:41

Oh bugger - I was hoping to keep it clinical as it just seems like so much effort!

annobal · 11/06/2007 19:46

PMSL - you have an excuse - the effort doesn't have to be on your part iykwim

daisyboo · 11/06/2007 19:48

at derlor in her jeans. i weighed myself this morning and am very . i am only 4lbs lighter than i was last monday?????? it just does not compute...7.5 lbs of baby, 1.5lbs placenta, 1.0lb fluid.....thats about 10lbs by my counting, not four ffs. i'm consoling myself with the fact that there must be at least 6lbs in my massive milk laden norks and in my grossly swollen ankles.

wow foxy....cute kiddywinks, and look at you...not how I imagined you at all....you look like an old uni friend of mine, so much so that i did a double take, but she def doesn't have any kids and lives in NI!

TA you look v glam in your photo and your dh looks a bit like Carlos frm desperate housewives.

swaddling rocks btw....it's the only thing settling my lo at the mo...i've managed to convince her that she doesn't need any more boob just now.

spot the one-handed typing btw!

daisyboo · 11/06/2007 19:50

loving the oxytocin/endorphins from bf....makes m e feel fab , and dh said i get this soppy stoned expression on my face. don't remember this with ds at all, but bf didn't go well with him from start to finish!

foxybrown · 11/06/2007 19:51

Has anyone tried those swaddling blankets? I've been thinking about getting a couple, but they are £15 each. I reckon they could be great, or could be a complete waste of money.

Thanks for all the nice things said about my pic. it was chosed very carefully from a load of dodgy ones!

foxybrown · 11/06/2007 19:53

Derlor, so tell me, what exactly do you do with your tummy? Tuck it in?

Please don't tell me you don't have one of those loose A3 sized folds of flesh overhang?!

Go on DKMA, you might be pleasantly surprised. Not that my DP is getting any. Farking Twunt.

annobal · 11/06/2007 19:58

Yes - have a swaddling blanket for this one (one with legs in it so I can use it in the baby bjorn - not that I'll need to during summer but such is my pg induced shopping - no sense at all). With T &G I just used a blanket. The swaddling blankets are gorg tho...

foxybrown · 11/06/2007 19:59

You're all off having dinner with your DPs, aren't you?

Mines not getting any made for him as he just sat on his arse and let me do dinner, bath and bed on my own, despite telling me he was going to do his share. I'm happy with cereal, he can bog off to the chippy.
