Oh I hope so Tallulabelle! There seems to be a lull in birthing this weekend

I take it back. DP is still a twunt.

hollyandalice · 09/06/2007 22:10

I bet he will foxy! He loves it! When I pumped it up before without water he was going on about how brilliant it is! Bet he doesn't get in when the baby is being born though!

Thanks for reminding me tallulah! I was watching that weird talent thing on itv and forgot about joseph! Doh! Lee to win!!! PLEASE!!

Why is DS2 up? Seems that when he has Nurofen he gets a bit hyper. Perhaps its a 4 yo equivalent of Pro-Plus?

He is cute though

hollyandalice · 09/06/2007 22:16

My dd is still up too foxy! Don't really mind though coz she is gonna have to come to bed with us tonight anyway coz her room is full of junk cleared out from our bedroom. SHe has just found a pack of post it notes and has stuck them all over me, I look like a notice board!

LOL! DS is "waiting for me" and watching Celeb Masterchef. He's still really ill, someone mentioned Scarlet Fever today . He's really up and down, but nurofen is working. Because he dozed this arvo he's up. Has a rash all over him too. He was gutted he couldn't go swimming this morning, and he had to leave a party in the park early because he was too hot and too sleepy.

I might take him to the hospital drop in tomorrow.

hollyandalice · 09/06/2007 22:23

Oh dear foxy, the poor thing! Good that nurofen is working though, bless him! Hope you both get some sleep tonight and he feels better in the morning.

OP posts:
foxybrown · 09/06/2007 22:25

Hopefully he won't throw up tonight, he seems OK. As long as DD doesn't try to get in as well. DP is away, which isn't a bad thing!

TALLULAHBELLE · 09/06/2007 22:26

Lee wins.

Now my baby can arrive. Well......I'm waiting ..........

foxybrown · 09/06/2007 22:28

be realistic - give him or her an hour!

hollyandalice · 09/06/2007 22:28

Hopefully the fact that the nurofen is working means it's not too serious. I bet you spend hours sitting in the drop in centre tomorrow and the dr says it's a viral infection and it will clear in a few days! That's what they always say! Hopefully he'll be better and you won't have to go, finger crossed!

HOORAY for Lee!!! Keith was a scrawny little shit!

Hi Holly, that's an idea about the middle name. God, I haven't even considered MIDDLE names, help!

Your birth pool sounds incredible, I keep having to leave the PC and go to the livng room as PC room is about 6 foot square and like a Turkish bath.

Check this out for nesting - I have cleared my airing cupboard, bought boxes and labelled them with what is inside to save the mad scramble for a single duvet cover. The rest of the house is a tip though!

foxybrown · 09/06/2007 22:32

Exactly Holly! Thats why I waited, trouble is its been hanging around a while. I gave him periton on Wednesday thinking the washing powder I'd used gave him the rash. Also he was behaving really badly last week. Seems to have stemmed from then. Perhaps Monday to the GP.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. Good luck Tullulahbelle, hope giving birth in the next 45 mins doesn't 'smart' too much

TALLULAHBELLE · 09/06/2007 22:33

Awww - harsh Holly. Poor Keith. Feel sorry for him - he does have very good voice but Lee more the leading man type.

foxybrown · 09/06/2007 22:33

Do you keep opening the door and looking in, feeling deeply satisfied with a good days work?

Or is that just me?

Just the rest of the house to do now then!!

hollyandalice · 09/06/2007 22:35

Dp wants to give the baby his dad's name as a middle name, but I don't think he deserves the honour, being a bit of a twunt (or actually a complete twunt!).

Night foxy, hope ds is feeling better tomorrow xxx

MMMM - Orlando on Parky. Very nice.

TALLULAHBELLE · 09/06/2007 22:36

Orlando - not Parky!

hollyandalice · 09/06/2007 22:37

Can you come round here doggus?? My house is a shit tip! The contents of our bedroom are spread all over the house and you can't even get in dd's room! Can't wait til the bedroom is finished and I can get back to some sort of order. Oh shit I'll have a nb baby soon, forget that idea!

hollyandalice · 09/06/2007 22:38

I don't usually fancy Mr Bloom, but he is looking pretty foxy today!

OP posts:
TALLULAHBELLE · 09/06/2007 22:45

Yes -prefer Johnny Depp but any bit of eye candy welcome really.

hollyandalice · 09/06/2007 22:53

I'm off to bed before I start to melt, I'm soooo hot and sweaty!

Night tallulah and anyone else still up xxx

HOORAY FOR LEE!!!

G'night. Sleep well.

BadZelda · 10/06/2007 08:48

Morning everyone - hope you're all well and we've had a new clutch of babas in the night. I dreamt I'd grown nipples on my bum for extra feeding, as the world had been through some kind of post-nuclear cataclysm and everyone was mutating. Most odd! They felt quite nice, but a bit tricky to sit down on. Not been on here too much as I've been working hard on the book, but well done Derlor - I want one like yours!

annobal · 10/06/2007 09:55

Morning everyone. LOL at your dream BZ - think you may have been working too hard on your novel . How's it going?

Carrying on from conversation last night before I had the computer taken off me and fell asleep...Doggus - good idea on Barbara as a middle name. An old boyfriend of mine had Shirley as a middle name as it was an old family name - it was always a talking point!

I think it is going to be quite warm again today. My fingers are already swollen - I haven't worn my rings for weeks.

I wonder if there were any births last night?
