Kitty call your clinic/hosp straight away. Might be nothing wrong but you need to speak to someone that can help.

BadZelda · 05/06/2007 08:02

Hey KittyKit - are you ok? Have you called a midwife?

trace2 · 05/06/2007 08:03

Hey Kittykitt.....
Hope you're okay?
I've been up since 5am - I wish I'd come on here to keep you company now!?
Hope you've done what the others have said and rang the ward / midwife?

kittykitt · 05/06/2007 08:17

trace2 · 05/06/2007 08:35

lol trendaverter were all on last run now were so want our babes out

bumperlicious · 05/06/2007 08:36

TA you must be so frustrated! Have you done all the usual? Sex, nipple stimulation, pineapple, bouncing on your ball etc.?

bumperlicious · 05/06/2007 08:38

I am sooooo tired once again. Pay back for my lovely long sleep yesterday. Last night had the most excuciating pain in my hip (ligaments I think) and just could not sit of lie without being in pain in any position. Ended up having a hot bath at 1am, didn't help much though, had a very broken night's sleep and no absolutely knackered.

Got dr's appointment in a couple of hours. If baby hasn't engaged any more I might cry!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 05/06/2007 08:46

Sounds bad Bumper! It's not getting any easier is it?
TA - I can't imagine how I'd feel if I was OVER my due date it's bad enough now and I've got 2 weeks to go.

trendaverter · 05/06/2007 08:52

I don't have a ball but I do lots of housework lol!

I walk the dog about a mile a day, eat spicy foods, pineapple, drink raspberry tea (I have even grown to like it, strangely), nipple stim is a no go as they are too senstitive, but I got DH to perform a 'home grown' sweep last night and still nothing.

I get the odd backache and period pain but that's it. I have a MW appt tomorrow, I was so hoping LO would come before then as I hate my mw, she's not very nice and I don't want her anywhere near my business end

bumperlicious · 05/06/2007 08:52

The sleeplessness is what I am worried about most when the baby is born. It completely changes my mood and my ability to cope with things.

bumperlicious · 05/06/2007 08:54

It's crap when you don't like your MW. I'm not overly found of mine either as she's done nothing but mess me around. On the other hand, it could be worth it if it gets things moving.

trendaverter · 05/06/2007 08:54

I understand Bumper, I am terrible when I am tired, it is a worry. Trying to be positive though.

trendaverter · 05/06/2007 08:57

Mine just tells me off all the time, over silly little things like misplacing a booklet or not doing much pee in the pot - I can't see to aim and it's only little!
She also tells me how fat I am quite often.

I want to bitch slap her.

Apparently lots of women complained about her and she was given a disciplinary but that still doesn't help me much!

bumperlicious · 05/06/2007 09:06

She won't be your midwife for labour though will she?

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 05/06/2007 09:08

TA - MW sounds like a cow

It's my first day of my Mat Leave today and am pissed off that I was awake at 5am!? Tis not fair!

I've got loads of little jobs to do today - feelin the need for a list as my brain has gone to mush and I know as soon as I leave to house I'll forget what it is I am meant to be doing!!!

It looks like it's gona be a hot one out there today too - so better get going before my feet / ankles swell up too much and I can't get any shoes on!!?

Have a good day all! Bumper - I hope you can catch a nap if you get comfy at some point today?
TA - I hope you have your baby while I'm out!!!!!!!!

trendaverter · 05/06/2007 09:13

No not for the labour thank god, just the befores and afters. At least I hope I don't see her in the labour ward! The shock would send LO back in

I admire all you ladies working so close up to your due date before taking mat leave - I don't think I could have done it. I had days when I felt too fatigued and exhausted and just crappy, there is no way I could have looked after me and a stressful job.

hollyandalice · 05/06/2007 09:16

Morning chicks!!

Hope you are ok kittykit! Sounds exciting, you are prob at the labour ward now, so won't be able to read this, but I hope it all goes well and you are holding your baby very soon!

Daisy I don't know what time you are going in, but if you log on or are lurking before you go (((HUGS))) for you and dh and mystic red ranger! Hope it all goes to plan and lo is with you soon xxxx

I want my baby!! Though not today coz dp is working a 3 hour drive away!! Maybe this evening. YES BABY IN MY TUMMY I'M TALKING TO YOU!!
