My boys are doing gardening so i'mm off the parenting duties as well.

JBM...I'm a 14, but I bought these in a 16 and they fit just fine.....they were only £10 as I got loads off, so you can have them....e-mail me your address.....daisybump at yahoo dot co dot uk...and I'll get DH to send them off towards the end of the week!!

HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Underrr the moon of love be dah be dum.

Revenge is sweet.

So, can't find my cervix...but think I can feel something that is suspiciously like the baby's head - or am I just making that up?

hollyandalice · 03/06/2007 11:02

They are great shorts JBM!! I have them too! They do fall down A LOT, but I found wearing a vest top underneath and safety pinning the shorts to the top works a treat. Although it is a bit cumbersome when needing a wee!

BadZelda · 03/06/2007 11:03

Am getting the urge to hoover again...did it on Wednesday. This is most unlike me! Do you think I"m nesting ;)

hollyandalice · 03/06/2007 11:04

Is it hairy bumper?? If it's hard it's prob your cervix!

bumperlicious · 03/06/2007 11:06

Ewww no it's not hairy!! Can't feel anything like a pursed mouth though.

hollyandalice · 03/06/2007 11:09

Wow bz, your dd must be very tidy! I have to hoover all the farking time coz my dd is a big crumb monster! I leave her alone for 5 mins with no food and I come back and there are crumbs all over the floor! Does sound like nesting though! My nesting has come in the form of decorating, alas I don't feel the need to clean!

Glad it's not hairy bumper! I think if it's flat and hard it means that nothing is happening yet. If it is soft and like a pursed mouth then that means your cervix is ripe and ready!

bumperlicious · 03/06/2007 11:12

Oh I see. Well I'm very much in the not Ready camp. Humph!

Going to sulk in the garden now and drink copious amounts of RLT!

hollyandalice · 03/06/2007 11:15

I can't find mine bumper, so I have no idea if it's flat or kissy! Have lots of sex, that'll make it nice and ripe!!

annobal · 03/06/2007 11:22

LOL at hairy cervix.

So far this morning have managed to:

  • colour in face masks with T&G
  • watch Hercules
  • wash new babies clothes and sheets for cot (now nicely drying outside)
  • clean toys up in playroom (T&G had friends over 3 days ago and managed to upend all the toy boxes)
  • pack my hospital bag
  • suggest (scream like a banshee) to DH that he mow the lawn
  • spend too much time on MN

Am now going to have a little lie down - all this activity is just a bit too much

foxybrown · 03/06/2007 11:28

Blimey Annobal, that's a bit productive!

hollyandalice · 03/06/2007 11:28

Wow annobal! You have put me to shame! So far I have made a cup of tea and an egg sandwich and eaten them (and made breakfast for dp and dd). Also have watched cbeebies and sat and looked at MN! I am a slattern!

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 03/06/2007 11:29

So far I've ironed 2 pairs of trousers, 2 t-shirts and half a shirt...and the iron has been on for over an hour!!

Oh, and I've put a chicken in the oven so we can have cold chicken salad for tea!

foxybrown · 03/06/2007 11:33

JBM, I went for the 640 mg, just because it was stronger. Been taking it for a week.

Can I have one of your sandwiches please?

DP has put the farking sport on far too loud and is ruining my peace and quiet!

hollyandalice · 03/06/2007 11:34

You lot are making me feel lazy! There's not an awful lot I can do tough. My house is a shit tip, but that's because everything from our bedroom is all over the house! Can't wait til it's finished!

annobal · 03/06/2007 11:35

Foxy, can I borrow the mother superior title just for this morning?

Chicken salad sounds yummy Daisy.

hollyandalice · 03/06/2007 11:35

Oh no foxy, what sport is on? Whatever it is my dp hasn't realised it's on yet. Thank god! Although I think I'd rather watch sport than the tweenies!

annobal · 03/06/2007 11:36

Holly. When do you think the bedroom will be finished?

hollyandalice · 03/06/2007 11:38

Hopefully it will be tidy and ready for papering by the end of today so at least we can put our bed back up! Papering, however, will prob not be done til next weekend, but at least we know what paper we are having now!

foxybrown · 03/06/2007 11:40

Ooh, what are you having Holly?

Sport on Sky+. Thankfully we have it on multi-room so we can lead seperate lives!

Will gladly give over the title Mutha Superior Annobal! Won't be needing it today thats for sure!

hollyandalice · 03/06/2007 11:42

Oh to have multi room!!

It's this paper. It looks really different in real life though, much nicer colours. I'm really chuffed dp is letting me have some pink!

annobal · 03/06/2007 11:45

Actually, am now lying in bed with laptop pretending to be having a lie down, so don't think I really deserve MS

Did you decide on the Laura Ashley paper, Holly?
