me too!

Rozzy - It's ok, I just hope the twins rumour is not phropetic!

DearBeatrice - Is it Q/Charlottes in Hammersmith that has the dodgy reputation? That's where I am planning to go, (St Mary's last time, don't think I could face it again!)

Congrats flamingnora, and welcome!

beansprout · 03/06/2007 20:49

Hi Flamingnora!!

I'm going to the docs on Weds too. Am actually quite excited. How sad is that?!

rozzyraspberry · 03/06/2007 20:49

Welcome flamingnora and congratulations!!

I was just about to post on your other thread but won't need to! I'm glad you found your way over.

flamingnora · 03/06/2007 20:53

Ah, Beansprout, I am so glad I'm not the only sad woman in town! I'll think of you on Wednesday then!

gingermumi · 03/06/2007 21:01

Neither of you are mad, i went to docs the day after I found out. She already knew 'cos it showed up on some blood test results - tesing for hormones etc as was having trouble getting pg! Even had midwife phone me which was really wierd! They seem to be extra attentive because of my age and the fibroid.

CountTo10 · 03/06/2007 22:26

Hi all, how are we? So, already the extreme tiredness has kicked in and I just want to sleep all the time - I mean at 5 weeks?? Also struggling with clothes round my midrift as my tummy seems to be poking out already! They do say it happens quicker second time round though. Either that or am going to be the size of a house!! And I echo the thank god for the smock top!!!
Am so excited at the moment and have now told my mum and best mate as I have little restraint!!! Haven't booked my docs appt yet but will do tomorrow.

Is anyone else a hayfever sufferer and if so what are you going to take as I am really starting to struggle!!!

Morning lovely ladies. You all got a bit busy on here last night!

No hayfever over here, am sure if you do a search though there will be countless others who do have it as it is so prevalent nowadays, and can hopefully see what others have suggested.

At least we all seem to have big bellies already, so perhaps it is normal.

I too have seen GP already AND was very excited about it. I don't think Queen Charlotte's is supposed to be that bad. I was at Chelsea & Westminster last time and will go back there again if we are still in the area. Does this mean that DearBeatrice and Beansprout are fairly near to me if they are going to Hammersmith? I am in Putney.

CountTo10 · 04/06/2007 08:32

Oh filly - your eyebrows can't be as bad as mine - they are slowly taking over my face!!!! Must get in to get them waxed!!! Booking docs this morning which feels really weird - but quite excited about just doing it!!! Said to dp last night that my boobs are starting to tingle so he can look forward to more than a handful soon!!! Is anyone else feeling slight flutters or moving about already? Not so much like actual movement but I'm defo aware there is something there.

beansprout · 04/06/2007 08:33

I like our spooky clone trio - Leesmum, me and Countto10!

Insomnia is killing me. Woke up at 4am this morning. Finally dropped off all of 2 minutes before ds woke up. Dh kindly got up and left me to try and get some more sleep but not v easy with ds running around and making general ds noise. I used to wonder how soliders slept in the trenches. Now I now

As for allergies, IIRC, pills are not ok but sprays tend to be better. Good old fashioned glasses and sunglasses and vaseline around your nostrils will help (blocks the pollen). Not a great look, but then again, I don't think this one is going to be our summer of glamour

CountTo10 · 04/06/2007 08:36

I'm hoping I'm going to be ok through the summer seeing as it'll just be the 1st trim. I struggled last time as I was huge and my feet swelled up so I looked like a hobbit!!!
I did think that about the clones - where is everyone, ar eyou all round london?

beansprout · 04/06/2007 08:37

I'm in Willesden, in NW London. You?

CountTo10 · 04/06/2007 08:40

I'm about 30 mins outside of London along the M40 in a village called Flackwell Heath. We are looking at moving though soon. Honestly, did it when I was pg last time it's like we're only allowed to move when I'm with child.
Forgot to say, I'm suffering with the sleep except it's not being able to get to sleep - am having lots of power naps in the day though!!!

leesmum · 04/06/2007 09:00

im in sunny manchester!!CountTo10 my sister and her husband live in Uxbridge is that close to you?its just off m40.

CountTo10 · 04/06/2007 09:03

Kind of - it's about 20mins or so up the road. Good shopping apparantly thought I've never managed to get there. Now if you;re in Manchester I'm going to pick your brains!! Looking at organising a hen weekend for my friend who wants to do a weekend in manchester. We were thinking a nice hotel in the city centre with spa type facilties - can you recommend anywhere or tell us anywhere to avoid??

Got my docs appt - but not till next week!! Only way I can see my actual doctor - too popular she is!!

leesmum · 04/06/2007 09:07

It depends on your budget, The Lowry is fantastic but not cheap, its a good place to see corrie stars and footballers! And they have spa treatments.

CountTo10 · 04/06/2007 09:15

Ooo I'll have a look at that one. Might be able to get a cheaper rate via work.

Slacker · 04/06/2007 10:18

Every morning I wake up and find I'm still pregnant - I'll start to believe it soon!

Just to buck the trend I have no intention of seeing a GP - I prefer an absolute minimum of antenatal care. I've moved to a new area since I last had a baby so I don't know what they're like round here, but since I'll be planning a home birth I suppose I'll find a midwife to talk to at some point.

Is this list in date order? I've slotted myself in what looks like the right place
