DaisysGotABigBump · 21/05/2007 19:48

How exciting about the show Natty......a bit inconvenient on the moving house front, but.....babies will be babies! It might even be sooner this time around as well.

LOL at the namechange, but not for long if this bub is on her way!!

Have I missed something....who's Freddy?

DaisysGotABigBump · 21/05/2007 19:53

Natty, how exciting re the show! You could always get DH to move while you are recovering from the birth . It won't be long now!

Am now regretting eating so many pies today as I think my stomach is going to burst...

FattyNattyThomasandEllen · 21/05/2007 19:55

ah shit i meant not ooo that looks like baby dieing is funny, noooo didnt mean that

annobal · 21/05/2007 19:55

Unfortunately I'm not a corrie fan - living with a mancunian is bad enough (I'm sure he says that of Neighbours)

DaisysGotABigBump · 21/05/2007 19:56

Not stopping tonight....ribs and back are hugely sore so off for a comfy seat on the sofa....

But...got the last of my hospital bag today....some cheap dark purple towels (2 bath, 2 hand and 2 flannels for £6....bargain) and a hand held fan.....I'm all set and it's scary.

FattyNattyThomasandEllen · 21/05/2007 19:56

yeah ashley and thingy been a while since u watched it then

FattyNattyThomasandEllen · 21/05/2007 19:59

yeah my hospital towel is brown.. as any marks (red ones) tend to go brown once washed so u cant see anything lol! same one i used for tom, its my "hospital" towel. lol that many things for 6 quid wow

FattyNattyThomasandEllen · 21/05/2007 20:00

ooo the baby wanst in the house OMG!

annobal · 21/05/2007 20:20

Night all! Am going to read my book in bed and have an early night. Good luck if anything happens tonight Natty.

FattyNattyThomasandEllen · 21/05/2007 20:31

sputnik · 21/05/2007 20:52

Still around Natty? Exciting about the show! Keep us posted.
Good to see you back Fatsuitgirl and DKMAFME.
I'm starting to feel better, seems like I've been ill for ages. Hopefully I'll be feeling ok in time for labour.
Glad your parents had a good time in my neck of the woods SFL, the weather's turned hot and as soon as I feel in the mood for eating again I'll be heading down the local ice cream parlour myself
Tomorrow I WILL do my hospital bag. I'm stopping my anti-contraction medication on friday, and could go into labour any time after that (huh, will prob go to 42 weeeks now)

DaisysGotABigBump · 21/05/2007 20:55

Sorry Natty....been "treading the boards" looking for somewhere to stick my oar in , and catching up on some of my other threads I regularly post on...as well as doing a bit of internet window shopping.

It's a bit quiet here tonight though isn't it?

I'm definately off this time.....got to go and talk emotional shit with DH......

No more pants action I take it? if that's not too personal a question

DaisysGotABigBump · 21/05/2007 20:57

LOL sputnik....wouldn't it be a little ironic if you ended up having to be induced......sounds like quite a nasty bug you've had....it wasn't the MILs rice was it?

Hi there - must be the night for it -have just finished my spag bol & decided that MN is infinitely more productive than yet another Friends re-run.

FNT&A - v exciting - sounds like you might be next to pop - hope all is OK. You'll be SkinnyNatty before you know where you are...

Daisy - sorry to hear about the AND - a complete bummer - I do agree with Foxy tho' - it might ease up once LO is out & about, without meds? I only realised I'd had it in early stages after things started to improve (i.e. I started washing again!!!) Hopefully won't lead on to PND - but no matter what, you've still got us.

SFL - sorry to hear about all your hassles - at least it sounds like they're keeping a close eye on you. Can't remember if you were planning a home birth?? Know what you mean about having your M about - mine is a bit on the ancient side & lives quite a while away but it's still good being able to phone her & chat easily. She was a sister midwife in the 40's/50's so has a pretty down to earth take on labour!!

Sorry - monster post -

FattyNattyThomasandEllen · 21/05/2007 21:13

still here just catching up.. brb

FattyNattyThomasandEllen · 21/05/2007 21:21

and now everyone has gone.. damn it

fatsuitgirl · 21/05/2007 21:27

Half an hour till Prison Break... am going to have to make sure that when LO arrives, his feeds coincide with the nice-shaped-headed one.

And yes. Hospital bag. Must get onto that one.

SFL and Sputnik, glad you're feeling better. Foxy and Holly how's the shopping going?

And loving the towel debate. Dark purple and brown sound perfect. Think I'm going to steal DH's vile black footie towel. Obviously I'll wash it first...

riabutterflew · 21/05/2007 21:36

Hi all. Nothing to add really. Haven't really cleaned anything, went shopping (have got fathers day cards and gifts or the important daddies - mine & DH, a present for my friend and some wrapping paper, so if I don't leave the house again til August it won't matter). Been to the supermarket as DH was worried I might not be able to go again before the impending trip.

Feel better tonight than I have all day, but really thought it was thunderbirds are go at teatime. Luckily not. Some of the toys are away and there is room to hoover tomorrow. Nearly done, then I will treat myself with a trip to the charity shop to buy novels. (No matter how worried my mum ws she would still notice mess - honest! Bless her.)

Am going to try the cocodamol thing tonight as have backache and would like a bit of sleep.

Hugs daisy. I have had AND too and I know how it feels, admitting you feel that way is the biggest step. I haven't had any medication this time but did with both DS1&2. Hang on in there and keep talking to us.

Am off for the night tonight. catch you all tomorrow.

justbeme · 21/05/2007 21:43

Evening All!
Have you missed me? Not......
Ive been away on a lovley holiday to Devon and Cornwall for one week - and I come back to over 2000 messages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stayed with my Mum and Dad for a few days and then went to the best ever B & B in Falmouth (sadly no kids allowed so wont be able to go back again!!) Can defro recommend if any one wants a child free hol!

Daisy - So glad that you're being treated for AND now - its such a relief when your "diagnosed" rather than just thinking your going mad. ( I suffer from cyclical depression so know abit how you must be feeling).

Natty - How are you?? any more news?

I'll have to email Holly re getting a text buddy.

Oh and re hospital bags - havent done mine yet - but would defro recommend taking some small bottles of water for the birth (gas and air really dries your mouth out and warm hospital water - euchhh )and Im also packing a bottle of "Bugs Away" - its antibacterial and kills MRSA etc - last time , no one cleaned the bath in between people and sometimes the loos are bit smelly - so at least I can feel clean and "safe".

Have started getting heartburn now, so have offically opened the bottle of gaviscon!

and have also started having the nesting feeling - I want everything to be cleannnnnn - or maybe it was the cleanliness of my B & B putting my own house to shame!!

hollyandalice · 21/05/2007 22:06

Well, that took me a while to catch up on! You lot have been busy today!!

Hope everyone has recovered from backaches etc., though I spose that'll only be possible once those bloody babies of ours come out !

TEXT BUDDIES-- Email me at my MN name at hotmail.co.uk and I'll pair you up!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Alice chicks! I'll pass them on to her in the morning! We had a lovely day just chilling and playing with the numerous new toys (where the hell I'm going to out them all I have no idea!).

derlor · 22/05/2007 04:38

morning!!!!!!! LOOK AT THE FARKING TIME!!
i've been up since 02.10 - great!
well i've had a quick read through of today and nightmare re your AND Daisy, glad you got us though I had terrible PND after DS was born so can fully understand how you are feeling - however nagging doubt in my head says St John's Wort is a no no when pregnant or BF???? mytwocents - is this right? Don't fret re taking the prozac - just get well so that you can enjoy your LO.
Natty - delighted for you and your show - how exciting.
everyone else vomit backache bbblleeuughhh. - i symathise.
well DS operation went well even though we had to wait around for 5 hours before it!! however, he is now sore and keeps being sick - hence me being up at this godforsaken hour - he was SO brave and it was only me who shed any tears throughout the whole day he will have blurred vision for about a week and his eye is all bloodshot and bruised hopefully though no further problems at the end of it all.
So i am now officially ready to have my baby - just wanted to get through yesterday and as of today i'm going on a pineapple and mango juice diet to get thngs moving!! Natty i'll not be long behind you hopefully. anyway off to watch eastenders from earlier so i'll check back at a more sociable hour x
