derlor · 23/05/2007 20:50

holly DS used to be like that but yes he has grown out of it - think DD coming along actually really improved his confidence

Seansfatlass · 23/05/2007 20:52

Hiya Derlor hope you are fel a bit more comfortable with that pesky SPD.

LOL Foxy on the bubble, thinks its a bloody good idea myself! On the protecting them thing - this sounds a little neurotic but the since the current news I have been very over protective with DD and have told DH that I seriously want to consider putting air con in upstairs so we don't have to have windows open at night in summer! Sounds a bit OTT I know but air con is DHs business!

Right, am off downstairs to try and chill with I nice cup of warm milk.

Night all xx

BadZelda · 23/05/2007 20:53

BTW Derlor - meant to tell you DH is from Ayreshire - was most amused by deep friend mars bars ref (from about 5 threads ago)

hollyandalice · 23/05/2007 20:53

Yes derlor, maybe she will be better once she has a little brother to play with, it might make her a bit more sociable with children.

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:53

I agree, she'll be a big sister and she'll probably love showing off her little brother.

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:55

Would you like a Blue Riband biscuit with that SFL? I appear to have ordered about 50, and i do find they are perfect with a cup of hot milk or horlicks.

How sad am I?

hollyandalice · 23/05/2007 20:57

Oooo I lurve blue riband! Not as good as caramel wafers though!

My dd wants to go to bed in mummy's bed again tonight so I'm gonna have to go. Hope she's not going to start making a habit of this!

Night everyone and sleep well xxxx

annobal · 23/05/2007 20:57

SFL - glad they are keeping a close eye on you - have a good rest!

Am def with you on the bubble - it is soooo sad when LOs get rejected - T (3) was running around with some older boys in the park the other day (5 and 7) and the 5 yr old turned around and shouted at him to stop following them, go away and leave them alone! Poor little thing was so upset - what do you do??

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 21:00

Aww! The Law of the Playground. It sucks!

derlor · 23/05/2007 21:00

right it's only 9pm but i need my bed so i'm off - enjoy your evening ladies x

BadZelda · 23/05/2007 21:02

Holly it's a slippery slope...DD informed me the other day 'Mummy when my baby sibling arrives she can sleep in my bed and I'll sleep with you'. She'd obviously been giving sleeping arrangements a lot of thought. Daddy can sleep on the couch apparently...poor DH!

annobal · 23/05/2007 21:04

Anyone else watching the apprentice?

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 21:08

Yep!

BZ - that's so sweet!

DD has spent the last 3 nights in her bed, hoping its down to the success of my new Star Chart regime!

I know we aren't meant to encourage what some people call "bad habits" but sometimes they need a bit more of us.

And habits can be broken.

I think that when a new baby comes along its very common for siblings to want to be babied. So I'll be pandering to it, feeding them, letting them sleep with me, whatever they want.

annobal · 23/05/2007 21:12

BZ - your LO is soooo lovely.

Agree with you Foxy - any bad habits can be broken and I'm certainly planning to make a HUGE fuss of T&G when baby comes along.

annobal · 23/05/2007 21:12

Ooops - am about to run out of battery on laptop so will say g'night to all!

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 21:14

I think everyone is!! My big sis just phoned, then DS got out of bed (he'd stolen all my pillows the wee bugger "it's not fair, why do you get all the extra pillows?" so I've had to sort all that out, and somehow his duvet had gotten sideways in the cover....don't know what he's been doing up there, but I did my best at staying calm and reasoned...then i shouted at hime and threatened to cancel his party and then I find i've got to tkae another 15 minutes to catch up...phew

SFL...yes I got the cheque thank you...I've been meaning to e-mail to say so. You've overpaid me by £2.30......

I'm glad they're keeping an eye on you, but appreciate what a total PITA it must be all that toing and froing to the hospital. At least they're happy to let the LO stay put for another week as every little helps. Have they given you a definate date for an induction?

So who's getting fired tonight then....I hope it's Katy...she's just a little bit too smug for my liking!

OP posts:
foxybrown · 23/05/2007 21:18

I kind of like her, but not in a 'she's a nice person' way, but she's a good character for the tv! A lot of them don't have any personality that stands out.

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 21:20

Did you see my evil power ranger product question to you daisy? I have bought one green and one red of this

evilpowerrangers

from the new baby.

have i made a dreadful mistake and will they lose eyes????

Seansfatlass · 23/05/2007 21:30

To cover packaging Daisy?

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 21:36

I hope Trey goes ... he pisses me off

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 22:05

Well, if its only me left I can either sit here and talk to myself or try to get up off the sofa and go to bed.

Getting up seems like such an effort! Maybe I'll just sleep here tonight.

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 22:09

SFL....more than covers the packaging...I'll buy some nappies with the rest!

Foxy...I think those outfits are great, but I must say that since we've limited DSs exposure to the evil Jetix, and consequently Power Rangers, his behaviour is much more maneagable. Although I don;t think its Power Rangers per sethat cause the problems...its the other shite like Yin Yang Yo that's the problem.

My neighbour has just been over to point out to me that the drivers and rear passenger door of the car are wide open . I obviously didn't lock it after our trip out earlier, and someone has been opening the doors. The embarrasing thing is, that it is so untidy with CDs, empty water bottles, sweet wrappers etc, that I couldn't honestly say whether anything is missing . I'm hoping it was DS when he was out in the garden earlier....but I won't get that out of him till tomorrow! My sat nav is thankfully in the house and the charger still in the passenger footwell. If it was thieves, they probably took one look at the state of it and decided it would take too long to rummage through the crap and legged it. The upside of being a slut I suppose

ISWYM about Katy's pesonality Foxy....a head to head final with her and Trey would be interesting TV!

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 22:10

FOXY....DON'T GO...I'm still here!!

OP posts:
foxybrown · 23/05/2007 22:12

I was half way through getting up then ...

You sure you didn't leave the doors wide open yourself?

somehow I seem to be watching peter andre and jordan. Do I need to see peter andre taking a piss???
