I vividly remember pinning a boy called Neil up against a shed when I was playing kiss chase at my first primary school. Must've been 5.

derlor · 23/05/2007 20:30

Daisy just eat it all then tell him it was out of date so you had to put it in the bin and you'll buy him something else when you're next at the shops

BadZelda · 23/05/2007 20:30

Ella is currently in bed having the cutest conversation with her dolls. Listening to her, I'm SLIGHTLY less shit-scared of having a baby this time than last time. Which comes as quite a surprise.

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:30

Didn't you make a career out of that Holly? What was the name of that bar you worked in?

hollyandalice · 23/05/2007 20:31

Can you eat his easter egg now and confess all in the morning? Then you can take him to the shop and buy him something better, like a power rangers mag and some skittles!

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:31

I was warmed by Em's response to friends baby today, BZ. Am sure they'll be fine. And your Ella is just so cute on her picture!

BadZelda · 23/05/2007 20:32

naughty foxy

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:32

Skittles? Wash your mouth out right now!

A colouring book and a packet of raisins, if you please!

hollyandalice · 23/05/2007 20:32

I wore hotpants actually foxy, not knickers ! They were silver and shiny! Class!

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:33

What? At school? You rock Holly!!!!

derlor · 23/05/2007 20:34

oh well it worked for Kylie Holly!!!

Seansfatlass · 23/05/2007 20:34

Evening girlies,

Hope all is well - have i missed any arrivals???

Sorry not been around, busy nesting day yesterday, really managed to knacker myself out, so much so I really ached last night.

Today I have spent most of the day at hospital having just about every test possible, my OC level is about the same , ctg monitoring showed bean to be fine and happy, the growth scan showed that bean has put on weight, but not enough to keep the doctors happy, however the fluid and doppler showed that everything was fine. So am just back to more monitoring for the OC and with the growth - have to go: fri-sun-tue-wed-thu !! and probably same the following week. it is good that they are keeping an eye on things, but this is making it intensely stressful.

Very sorry that I haven't kept up with thread, but promise to come back as soon as I feel a bit more cheery.

Take care all xx

BadZelda · 23/05/2007 20:34

Yeah - she's very friendly and gentle with babies. She was trying to play with some little girls on the train today - but they refused to speak to her at all. Should probably teach her a bit more 'stranger danger' - but I can't bring myself to curbe her naturally sociable manner. Will just have to be extra vigilant with her I guess.

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:37

for you SFL. I'm pleased they are monitoring you so well, and hope you are OK, but what a PITA. Fingers crossed for you xx

Daisy, I bought these (one red, one green) for the boys from the newborn. Mistake?

evilpowerrangers

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:40

BZ, that is sad! Girls are quite mean very early on, and its not nice for the little ones to have to deal with rejection is it? Poor Ella.

BadZelda · 23/05/2007 20:41

me too SFL - that's hardly going to make you feel more chilled and happy is it? Can they not do any home visits?

BadZelda · 23/05/2007 20:42

She wasn't upset, just a little bemused by it all. I think she thought they didn't understand english. She resorted to speaking really clearly to try and make them understand...till I gently removed her.

hollyandalice · 23/05/2007 20:42

Glad you are ok(ish) seansgirl. How horrible that you have to go into hosp so often, but at least they are keeping an eye on you. That must put your mind at rest a bit (((HUGS))) and hope your oc levels don't get any worse xxxx

Seansfatlass · 23/05/2007 20:42

Thanks Foxy
Daisy, hopefully you have got my cheque by now? sorry if you have said, but just have not had time to catch up.

Seansfatlass · 23/05/2007 20:43

Holly

derlor · 23/05/2007 20:44

SFL - hi, glad those Docs are keeping such a close eye on you, bit boring having to keep going in but i suppose it means you feel safe about things x

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:46

She's probably forgotten all about it by now, BZ. I think we let them be themselves, with heaps of reassurance when this happens. They are the lovely, wonderful, gorgeous little girls who are perfect! I'd have mine in a bubble 24/7 and untainted by the world given the chance.

Seansfatlass · 23/05/2007 20:46

Hi BZ , unfortunately no they have to do them all at hospital. Only good thing is they seem to have ctg machines everywhere unlike the hospitals on panorama the other week. KWYM about DD being socialable, my DD just the same, I always get really upset when she talks to other kids and they just ignore her

hollyandalice · 23/05/2007 20:47

My dd is extremely and painfully shy. She spent a lot of the time in the play centre today in tears because she couldn't see me or because someone had pushed her. She wouldn't go and play with the other children and sing happy birthday, she just screamed. It is getting to be a bit of a problem. I have tried taking her to toddler group, but she hates it and I don't really want to make her do something she doesn't like. I suppose they grow out of it don't they?

annobal · 23/05/2007 20:47
