Oh and well done on the novel! How exciting for you!

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:14

Mystic Red Ranger - that is priceless!!!

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:15

Julie, you'll still be before me [sulky emoticon]

annobal · 23/05/2007 20:16

Daisy - lol at DS. DS1 came out the other day and had obviously been giving the whole birth thing a lot of thought - when Charlie is ready to come out he finds the key to come out of mummy's tummy (key goes in the belly button) - there's a door between my legs.

derlor · 23/05/2007 20:17

oh a bath now that sounds like a good idea. just put DD to bed so might even be able to soak in it by myself for once (she always wants to get in with me)
LOVE ds's comment re your bum Daisy - PMSL!!!!
DD asked my sister (she has a 6 month old) recently why her tummy was still fat since Katie was out now??????? kids are hilarious

I should keep a note of them for potential future embarrassment factor when he brings his girlfriends home

He was all excited today as he saw a girl's pants at school.....he was being quite shy and sweet about it, but as I wangled the story out of him, it turned out that one of the boys in Yr1 had grabbed her and lifted her dress up for the whole playground to see and reduced her to tears....cue stern lecture form me about how he and his mates should have stuck up for her and if I thought that he was a part of it, even as a spectator who laughed I would be sorely disappointed. I'll need to speak to the poor wee thing's mum tomorrow to make sure she's allright and not traumatised for ever....but I suppose, thus begins the lifelong fascination with girls pants.

Well it's kind of good and bad timing - as I am about to have six months off work...but also concerned about brain / writing muscle being a bit mushy...will just have to see how it pans out.

R.e. the floaty things - I get those daily, but no swelling, headaches, etc. Guess it's just all that blood rushing about?

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 20:19

My sister's DS1 used to gaily point at her fanjo whilst telling all and sundry that mummy had a special hole next to her winkle for the baby to come out

Lusting after Mike Delfino on Desperate Housewives.

My plumbing dearly needs some attention.

Well done BZ on the book! And it's no mean feat getting it looked at, well done!

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 20:21

Sorry BadZ....

That's brilliant news!!!

Oooh - he's lovely - he kept me watching series 2! Afraid NOTHING got me to watch series 3 though as Teri Hatcher is just too skinny!

derlor · 23/05/2007 20:22

congrats BZ - great news - maybe you'll be the next JK Rowling?????????

trendaverter · 23/05/2007 20:22

I wasn't looking at Teri Hatcher

annobal · 23/05/2007 20:23

LOL

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 20:23

When is your due date Julie?

OP posts:
trendaverter · 23/05/2007 20:24

annobal where in Aus are you from?

DH is a banana bender

BadZelda · 23/05/2007 20:24

Ah - have got 2 episodes of DH to watch later after take-out: roll on mat leave (starts friday) although DH is going back to work next week: have been thoroughly spoilt whilst he's been off. Plus am worried about keeping house to his standards...he has raised the bar!

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:25

Daisy, DS2 was the boy who lifted his friends dress yesterday He is also the one who shows his bottom quite a lot . We have spoken about it

Luckily the little girl was happy to show her knickers and her mum told me she'd told her she'd showed her knickers to the boys.

Did I say they are all 4?

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 20:26

I'm thinking maybe I can get the chocolate out of DSs easter egg wrapper and leave it so it looks like there's still something there, then surepticiously (sp?) move it to a different hiding place and hope he forgets about it completely

OP posts:
foxybrown · 23/05/2007 20:27

You can either have just whatever is in the middle or eat half the egg, leaving the other half in its foil in the front of the box.

So I'm led to believe

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 20:27

I seem to remember being that little girl when I was in infant school

BadZelda · 23/05/2007 20:28

Daisy papier mache is your friend ;) When I was a kid I used to take out the insides of my grandfather's grapefruits and glue the skins back together. He never clocked it - even complained to the greengrocer!

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 20:28

and then i could just tell him "that's what they come from the factory like"...genius

hollyandalice · 23/05/2007 20:29

We used to stand on the bench in the playground and sing a song and at the end we'd turn around and show all the boys our knickers! I was a hussy even then!!
