I saw her thread earlier...must go and catch up!

OMG! Could I be more knackered!!

Sounds like everyone is very hot and cross! I'm pretty glad none of us are in labour today, it's too hot!

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 17:59

Fannyannie has had a show and is having pretty annoying BHs....

Just examined my ankles and they have grooves in them FFS.....didn't get swollen ankles at all with DS, and I DON'T LIKE IT....ONE TINY BIT. I've always had a pathological fear of thick ankles. I suppose the trick is just not to look, and be thankful that it's almost over!

Can you believe I've been to JS twice today and neglected to buy chocolate on both occasions. my pg brain is obviously turning to mush...I mean how could I forget the chocolate. Good job DS still has a couple of easter eggs squirreled away. He's probably forgotten all about them

I've got swollen hands! My fingers look like sausages! I had to take my ring off earlier coz I was scared of it getting stuck! I'm terrified of my feet and ankles swelling up coz of my already gigantic shoe size!

that you've got no choc daisy! I was going to get some on the way home, but I was nearly at falling over point, so couldn't!

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 18:20

I've taken all of mine off except my wedding ring, I felt too naked without it, but it's looking like I might have to take that off too. I will have to anyway for the section...
...has anyone had a look at this....I think Mohze and Xenia are the same person. Why does she do it, does she just like a good barney every now and again, or is she actually a man?

OP posts:
foxybrown · 23/05/2007 18:27

Foxy needs a bit of reassurance

I am SO completely exhausted today that I'm questioning how I'm going to do this. It's OK because its the first time I've really had my doubts - and I'm not really having doubts I'm just so fucking knackered.

I've done a lot today (most of it on my arse admittedly) and am sore from the gym yesterday so all the factors are there conspiring against me. My children are all in bed and I'm having my tea, so realistically I'm ahead of the game.

But I am ready to cry

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 18:33

Aaaww foxy {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} to you. It's just those pesky hormones getting to you.....what are you now, 34 weeks?....we all went through a little wobble at this stage, so looks like its your turn now. Try to stay positive (erm yuh, fine advice from the basketcase in the corner ) and remember that this means it'll soon be over and done with!!

And as I was reading on a thread the other day, once you've already got two or three, the third and fourth are easy!

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 18:34

Have a bath with candles and soft music and an early night....and get DP to give you a nice back rub!

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 23/05/2007 18:36

(((HUGS))) foxy, why don't you have your tea and have a lie down? Have a cry if you need to, it'll prob make you feel better! You are a fab mum and one more will make you extra fab! xxx

Do some shopping...loads of stuff has just gone into the vertbaudet sale! It's making me happy!

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 18:38

Probably me who said that ....

Thanks Daisy, I'm doing everything I'd normally do without a heavyweight inside of me. Even the children are knackered at the moment, so I think its time to put the breaks on for all of us.

35 weeks on Friday, so I am beginning to feel the end is in sight. And I'm really looking forward to the birth, so that's not worrying me at all.

Lightbulbs just gone on in my head. Every single person I've seen has commented on my size - for the first time. Even people I saw days ago. Dur! Baby's had a growth spurt hasn't she???

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 18:38

OOOh, talking of shopping, I got a thing from La redoute today with free bag and money off and free delivery if I order....must go and find something that I need to buy, LOL

Can't miss out on a free bag!

Foxy, you'll be fine! Says the person who has no idea how she's going to cope with one...

Sputnik at your DH. He's in denial, I reckon - figures that if people are staying, babies won't pop out! Personally I've been training DH to be a guard dog, allowing visitors in for 30 mins at a time. We probably won't get any, but my biggest fear is having the house swamped with well meaning friends and family when all I want to do is stare at our new little creature and sleep.

Daisy, don't get me started on lines on ankles. I'm just clinging onto a photo a friend sent me of Kate Moss two weeks before she gave birth, and her legs look on the chubby side. And please don't tell me it was a wide lense camera...

derlor · 23/05/2007 18:38

Thanks Holly. My last baby was 9 pounds 6, so I'm expecting to be growing a whopper this time too. I reckon that's got to slow me down a bit.

Am filling up, but its at your kind words. Thanks lovely ladies. xx

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 18:41

Sounds lovely Derlor...i thought all the pressies were out, but it looks like yours has been on a magical mystery tour!

I missed that about Sputniks DH, so have re-read. Now PMSL! That is hilarious!!

He IS joking, isn't he?

hollyandalice · 23/05/2007 18:44

I'm expecting whopper as well foxy! We can be in the gigantic babies club! I went to a birthday party today (it was like hell on earth) and everyone was telling me how big I was and looking like this when I told them I've still got nearly 5 weeks left! Yes, thank you wonderful friends of mine, that's just what I wanted to hear!

Go on daisy, do lots of shopping! I just bought a toybox from vertbaudet and now I feel !!

Derlor your pressie sounds great, you lucky girl!!

derlor · 23/05/2007 18:45

oh Foxy {{{{{{{{{{{big hug}}}}}}}}}}}} to you - it's crap when you have a day like this isn't it. you'll be a fantastic mum to this new wee addition and will soon be planning no.5!!! you sound like an earth mother already with your 3 LO's so will cope amazingly with a beautiful wee new one - just take some time out for yourself tonight and relax xxxx

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 18:46

He's maybe just trying to be thoughtful , thinking visitors will cheer you up Sputnik. Men can be incredibly dense at times can't they?

If it makes you feel any better, my DH is meant to be going on a stag do on 14 June (my due date is 18 June). He's assured me he won't go. But has he cancelled the tickets? Told his mates? No, of course not. I think somewhere deep inside he still thinks there's a chance he might go. 300 miles away.

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 18:51

He's probably just really excited and thinking he can show his new baby off, awww bless!

I met my friend's new baby girl (d'ya think that has anything to do with it???). She is just gorgeous! 9 days old, she fed and slept and was just perfect. Born by c-section, my friend recommends phospherous homeopathic remedy for bleeding and Arnica 200. But she looks amazing, completely together and so calm. She is her third, with a 4 yo and 18 month old. Em was so, so lovely with her, stroking her hand and hair, giving her little kisses on the back of her head. I can't wait for my baby to come out and meet her new friend!

foxybrown · 23/05/2007 18:52

I think at 300 miles away I might put my foot down too!

fatsuitgirl · 23/05/2007 18:56

Bless! Sounds adorable. And it's amazing when friends' tummies turn into babies. I mean, sure, I know that's what's supposed to happen but it still blows me away a bit...

And re the stag do it's not just the 300 miles, it's the being drunk with 12 other lads for four whole days, during which time I guarantee the mobile won't be heard or felt as I desperately try and get hold of him... The stag do finishes on the 17th. In the evening. And in my experience, this group of lads means a hangover of several days...

DaisysGotABigBump · 23/05/2007 18:59

Aaaw Foxy, no wonder you're filling up seeing that!

LOL FSG....my DH was invited on a stag weekend, the weekend I'm due. Not too far away, but walking in the Lakes, so still a good three hours away and no phone reception. Thankfully he had the sense to decline. Of course now I've got my date for the section it'll be the weekend after I get out of hospital. I did say he could go up for a days walking, but he had to promise to come home again, but he' says he wont...bless him, but I don;t think he trusts me to be together enough.

Lord above my child has psychic powers ...I've just been coveting his chocolate orange easter egg, which has been hidden in the cupboard since easter...he's just came over, gave me a huge cuddle and asked when he can have some of his big easter egg....f.f.f.f.freaky
