Don't do it Lilkel!!! It'll be torture!

Glad you are OK BTW!

annobal · 22/05/2007 14:22

Why have I done it to myself?? I was adamant that this time I was going to buy RLT capsules but went a bit overboard in Neils Yard today and bought the tea - IT MINGS [blah emoticon]

foxybrown · 22/05/2007 14:26

go on, let me say it!

Please!!! [smug "i told you so" emoticon]

annobal · 22/05/2007 14:30

Gloat if you want to...... as I am dry retching at the thought of having to finish this lot of tea before I can get the capsules (because I do have to punish myself in this way, you know).

foxybrown · 22/05/2007 14:36

Well, if its from Neal's yard it wouldn't have been cheap either!

Think of your lovely toned uterus!

Out of interest, is it any stronger? My capsules, you know those things you swallow in one go without the vile after taste, are 640 mg.

On another note, I am pleased to say I went to the gym on account of you going the other day, and I felt bad!! Have also booked my creche places for next week, so thanks for that

annobal · 22/05/2007 14:40

I've no idea how strong the tea is - I'm seeing homepath tonight so might ask her.

Foxy, you're not meant to DO anything in the gym - I only book T&G into playtime and sit in the cafe. Oh bugger - does that mean that I actually have to do something when I go tomorrow????

annobal · 22/05/2007 14:42

btw, well done on doing something in the gym!

Oops - nursery pick-up time...

foxybrown · 22/05/2007 14:43

I did more than I meant to, but only because someone nicked the Bosu I was in the middle of using so I had to have a huff and show her that I was using THAT!

Oh, I went to buy a bottle of water from the cafe. They had no bottled water either in the cafe or in the vending machines! WTF! Farking Virgin Farking Active. Farkin Shite.

sputnik · 22/05/2007 15:28

I used to take raspberry leaf tea for period pains (for anyone that doesn't know, it's brilliant for that). I found it's drinkable with tonnes of honey.

bumperlicious · 22/05/2007 15:31

How can you still be going to the gym you two? I demand you stop it at once! Traitors

Saying that, I have just had a lovely yoga session. I love my teacher. Unfortunately once this LO is born that's it for me for a while as the usual private lessons are £35 and the classes are before DH gets back from work. I'm planning on going to "buggy fit" classes though!

Just having some lunch (a tub of B&J for brekkie and lunch just isn't enough) and psyching myself up for this 2 hour drive...

BadZelda · 22/05/2007 15:34

My friend has given me some rosehip and RLT - it's actually delicious. Agreed by itself it's NASTY.

Oh and ScottishMummy - are you a secret Juner? Or just have an aerial tuned to ANY discussion of breast feeding?

bumperlicious · 22/05/2007 15:44

Right, catch up with you ladies in a day or so. Good luck if any of you have babies in the meantime. It's getting to that stage where any time we log on here someone could have dropped! Hope everyone's ailments/children feel better soon xxx

RedFraggle · 22/05/2007 16:46

I must be a bit twisted. I really liked the raspberry leaf tea....

TALLULAHBELLE · 22/05/2007 16:51

Any other saddos out there? What happened in Home & Away last week? Was away to Lake District and no Channel 5 so missed 4 days worth. Caught it at lunchtime today and Rick home. WTF - thought he was in jail. What happened?

Talking of things Aussie, Annobal, did you see the poll that listed The Wiggles 3rd as Australia's most trusted people?
poll

foxybrown · 22/05/2007 17:25

No T! Only 3rd?!!

derlor · 22/05/2007 19:11

Hi i'm back, hey just a thought but no sign of Natty do you think Ellen has arrived???????????

Something random, but for anyone that does decide to Formula Feed did you know that it is actually recommended by infection control specialists that you don't sterilise the bottles - dishwasher or hot wash then left to drip dry is actually better for baby as too much sterilising actually hampers the development of their immune system!

derlor · 22/05/2007 19:14

Hey Tallulah i like your list did you notice that nurses beat the doctors - GET IT RIGHT UP YA,DOCS!!!!!![GRIN]

DaisysGotABigBump · 22/05/2007 19:23

I think Natty said she'd be back on this evening...if she doesn't appear.....she might be off having baby Ellen!!

OP posts:
derlor · 22/05/2007 19:28

How you feling today Daisy?

foxybrown · 22/05/2007 19:28

She said she'd be here at 7.30 didn't she?

Well Natty???? We are waiting!!!!!!!!!!

derlor · 22/05/2007 19:30

who is Nattys text buddy?? is it BZ?

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 22/05/2007 19:36

Hope everyone is having a nice evening?
Natty - come on lady! Now you've mentioned that 'plug' we're gonna be waiting for every post from you!

I have a question for this evening..... for those ladies who have had a baby/ies before.

Now I know I have yet to give birth and all that, and I should really have more important things on my mind at the mo but...........

What actually happens to our bumps when the baby comes out? Does it sag down? Shrivel up? Just look like fat? Of course I don't mean immediately - but in those first few weeks - what does it look like? and what clothes advice do you give?

I know I'm sad and vain - but I can't stop thinking about it

foxybrown · 22/05/2007 19:38

I think its a very good question.

All I'll say is you are never prepared for what happens to your stomach afterwards.

Even at number 4 I'm prepared to be shocked by the lose, over-hanging, monstrosity of flesh which will accompany me around continually for at least 6 weeks. And I'm not talking about DP here!

annobal · 22/05/2007 19:41

lol TB - THE WIGGLES??? At least it wasn't Hi5 - possibly the most annoying kid's programme (and that is really saying something)
And did I really see the croc hunter's wife and child (?) as 6 and 7 WTF???

Actually have to say that I don't recognise too many of the names on the list - may have to gen up before I go 'home'

Sorry - don't watch Home and Away (bathtime, not because I am high brow and only watch neighbours or anything like that )

Oooh, exciting, I wonder where Natty is?
