I think I'm going to be brave and dip my toe in the grad thread! I'm very scared and feel the need to knicker check!

One day at a time ladies. I keep reminding myself that today, now, I'm pregnant. 16 weeks tomorrow and I still knicker watch and boob prod. And I'm starting to look like I've swallowed a basketball. Every scan helps. For a while. Private one next Saturday and we should find out if it's b/g. Scary!

I feel so fat and bloated at the moment, partly in still feeling like this from the IVF drugs. I'm too tired for sex or anything else tbh. I got half way through painting the shed the other day and I needed a nap.

On top of that I'm still having to use the vaginal pessaries and they're disgusting. I swear, I'm happy to be pregnant but I'm not finding this first bit easy. First scan on Saturday.

Eeeeek! Pregnant on a digital this morning! I'm exhausted, hot and sweaty and I feel like someone pumped me up with a balloon!!

@Si1ver. Yeah whoever made up the pregnancy glow thing was talking shit!

@Si1ver. I'm quite gobsmacked. Because you were IVF, have you ever sat there a wondered if there's more than one in there? Or do you already know there's just one? I bet you are scared/excited for your scan! I'm going to book one for just over six weeks. I'm so anxious after the miscarriage

No I don't think so. We had one embryo transferred, unless it's spontaneous split into two after transferring, it's just the one in there.

The embryo that was transferred was ahead at every stage though so who knows. It was 12 cells at day 3 when 8 cells is normal and it was an expanded blastocyst at day 5 when it was put back when the stage before is more normal.

Ugh God - my poor stomach! Whenever eat it's going straight through me! I can't believe how bloated I am 😮 I look like I've shoved a plumped up pillow underneath my t-shirt!

Just had my first 'bump moment'! Have always had a slightly podgy stomach but have felt it's getting particularly podgy lately. In the shower just now I pushed on my podge and could feel the bump underneath! It's really there! So excited. Don't know how I'm going to get through the next 6 days till my dating scan!

My first scan is tomorrow I'll be 6+6. I've basically convinced myself that there's nothing in there.

@Si1ver. Fingers crossed for you! I'm sure there is a baby in there :-) I was the same with my DD's, i never really believed there was a baby in there and my mum said that until I came out she never really believed I was in there 😂

I hate this part of being pregnant. I've let myself get drawn into the whole weeks estimator thing I did one on Monday that was 1-2 and one today which was 2-3 and I still got upset! I think it doesn't help to compare as there are a few ladies on my Feb board that got their 3+ but they are like 5 days to a week in front of me. It's like your brain can't think logically!

Had my last hypnobirthing class last night and bags are now packed and ready. I still look at my huge bump and feel my baby kick and feel so blessed to have got here.

I still don't think they're going to see anything online despite all evidence to the contrary. I'm being scanned tomorrow too S1lver, should find out sex too.

Stop with the tests Looking! You'll drive yourself batty. I did a million of the bloody strips, like 2 a day, for weeks coz I kept thinking the line would disappear. I did not help my tiny shred of sanity 🙄
