Hope everyone's had a good weekend :-)
12 week scan on Tuesday! I keep flipping from calm to panicking!

SoozC · 29/07/2018 21:40

We were in Devon, it was so relaxing I didn't think about work either!

Got everything crossed for you, Looking, though I'm sure all's fine. Doesn't stop us worrying though, does it?

I'm guessing Nimble is busy with her newborn?! Anyone heard? She said by the end of the week last week.

WonkyDonk87 · 29/07/2018 22:02

Not long now Looking! What time is your scan on Tuesday? X

LookingAtTheStars89 · 30/07/2018 00:36

@WonkyDonk87. Not until 17.10, DH is at work so he'll only have to save a little earlier.

@SoozC. No! It's a never ending panic station! This hot weather has made it worse, I keep worrying about keeping hydrated!

LimpLettice · 30/07/2018 12:59

I wondered too about Nimble, hope she's enjoying cuddles now the heat has broken a bit.

I've made it to 24 weeks! It feels like a real milestone in this pregnancy and we're finally relaxing into it. I've even bought some baby clothes. Settling into the enormo bump and actually starting to think about the birth. Feels good.

WonkyDonk87 · 31/07/2018 08:05

Hope you're keeping busy @LookingAtTheStars89 and not too anxious. I'll be thinking of you come 5pm!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 31/07/2018 10:08

@WonkyDonk87. I am quite anxious this morning! I will be glad when it's 5pm and I'll know what's going on either way x

LimpLettice · 31/07/2018 12:18

Good luck Looking, let us know how it goes.

DoAsDreamersDo · 31/07/2018 12:46

LookingAtTheStars89 · 31/07/2018 13:07

Hey ladies! Good scan, I'm 11 weeks and 6 days with an EDD of Feb 13th. We've told everyone now too. My mum wasn't overly impressed but I didn't think she would be but everyone else was thrilled. I told the sonographer my history and she was lovely, as soon as she found the heartbeat she told me, she even offered to turn the big screen off at first.

WonkyDonk87 · 31/07/2018 22:36

Eeek!!! @LookingAtTheStars89 I've been checking here all evening waiting for you to post! So pleased for you, only ten days between our due dates. Grin

LookingAtTheStars89 · 31/07/2018 22:45

@WonkyDonk87. I know! I'm sorry when I clocked the time I said to DH "Shit I didn't tell my yammers" LOL. Eeek 10 days!!!

SoozC · 31/07/2018 22:55

Yay, so pleased and relieved for you, Looking! I didn't want to post after the event in case it was bad news, I'm so happy to see your update!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 31/07/2018 23:51

Has anyone else got an anterior placenta??
I've never had this before!

@SoozC. Awe thanks :-)

LimpLettice · 01/08/2018 06:36

Cor don't leave us hanging like that Looking! Relieved all is well 😊

Placenta was anterior with Dd but not this time. It had no ill effect just meant I felt no movement until very late, about 24/25 weeks, and then it was very cushioned at the front. Arms and legs out the sides but nothing in the middle!

WonkyDonk87 · 01/08/2018 09:18

Never mind Valentine's - the 13th is Robbie Williams' birthday! (Much to my BILs frustration when DN was born on the 13th and my sister gleefully announced it in the hospital Grin)

LookingAtTheStars89 · 01/08/2018 09:20

@Milknosugar1 and @limplettice. Ah sorry ladies! I didn't mean to make you worry. I was at the hospital for a fair while, which meant no signal and then I went to see my mother and then I had to put my DD's to bed. They didn't get to bed until 10pm last night bless them.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 01/08/2018 09:21

@WonkyDonk87 My 11 year old DD is a Valentine's baby Grin

WonkyDonk87 · 01/08/2018 11:36

@LookingAtTheStars89 Ha ha! I bet your DD is well impressed with your due date 😂

LookingAtTheStars89 · 01/08/2018 12:01

@WonkyDonk87. She was a little concerned until I told had I would probably be induced so it probably wouldn't be her birthday 😂. My DD (5) said she'd like a brother and he should be called Wilbur 😂

DoAsDreamersDo · 01/08/2018 12:24

Yay Looking I'm so pleased that everything was well.

I've got an anterior placenta and every time I think it's been a while since I felt my LO move I remember that it could be because of the placenta (or because I'm only 22 weeks) x Limp that's interesting that you felt more movement from the sides when you had DD as I sometimes feel little prods even now right at the side and I never thought that this could be why!!

LimpLettice · 02/08/2018 18:13

Once I knew it was fine Dreamers, but before the anomaly scan I was so worried about weird crab movements!

Off down to Dorset for a few days tomorrow and only got a couple of hours in the office next week and I'm so ready for a break. Worked out I have about 60 working days left and I can't bloody wait.

V old friend who has suffered infertility for years and years and should have been a yammer had her baby boy this week. IVF after an incredibly tough ride, her husband was horrifically scarred in a terrible accident a few years ago too. I'm not ashamed to say I blubbered like a bloody baby. Not even blaming the hormones. Grin
