I am having the vivid dreams too Looking, they can get quite surreal. The need to pee every 17 minutes all night doesn't help, but being more comfy last night means I slept through quite a bit of it.

Not necc re constipation - it has never affected me that way either. Wait til after the birth...I'll say no more but you'll miss it :)

WonkyDonk87 · 04/07/2018 11:46

Much less bloated this morning thanks! Still pretty chunky though
Feeling absolutely fine, so obviously now going to stress about mmc for the next three weeks 🤦🏽‍♀️

LookingAtTheStars89 · 04/07/2018 11:49

@LimpLettice. Ha ha yes! It's not my first rodeo so I know too well what it's like to poop after pushing a baby out and with stitches Confused makes you nip your bum cheeks! I was so constipated with my youngest DD during pregnancy that I was downing several sachets of high strength movical a day! I have chronic internal/external hemmaroids which sucks big time with bowel troubles :-(

LookingAtTheStars89 · 04/07/2018 12:13

@WonkyDonk87. I know what you mean about mmc. We are booking another scan for next weekend because I can't bear the thought that o could turn up to my 12 week scan and it be over again. I know that another scan isn't going to stop that but it's making the gap shorter. It's sad because I feel like I'm having to keep a distance with this pregnancy. I haven't allowed myself to enjoy it yet.

SoozC · 04/07/2018 12:33

I get constipated. Joys. I am also bloated and have a small bump so look massive. No vivid dreams though, but I do toss and turn.

Second sports day today. Hate sports day! Fingers crossed I'll miss next year!

Hahaha. That post birth first try with stitches and The Fear :) No one warned me, midwife mentioned holding a pad over the patchwork and then the constipation was like nothing I had ever known. More scary than the birth. A thread like this might have prepared me! When my bestie had her DD a year later I bought her prunes and lactulose the week before the birth; she thought I was mental, until after of course .

We had extra scans, at 9 and 16 weeks, for that exact reason. I just could not cope with the wait, and it really is only now the 20 weeker is out of the way I feel I can stop distancing myself and start getting excited. We have been given and bought / promised so much, the only thing I really need to spend on is a few clothes, so am finally allowing myself to start looking at some fancy sleepsuits and maybe actually buy something. Maybe.

Ah yes Sooz but you have just rather committed yourself to attending about 14 of them as a parent. That is even worse as there is nothing to keep you occupied while they happen except traipsing around the field watching your own lob a beanbag every 17 minutes.

No chance, Limp - as a teacher I'll spend my time watching other people's kids! Unless I manage to leave the profession, that is.

Yammers, I swear I felt a little fluttery movement today! It happened as I bent one knee up to my stomach. It was enough to stop me talking! Hasn't happened again since but was a nice thought that maybe it was movement. Smile

WonkyDonk87 · 05/07/2018 07:49

@SoozC That is VERY exciting eek!

Si1ver · 05/07/2018 08:27

That's so exciting @SoozC.

I had an early scan yesterday at 10+3. Everything looking fine and the baby waved at us, it's measuring exactly spot on. So today I have to tell my boss as we're off traveling next week and I can't really go without telling him. Mainly because all the evening stuff is based around drinking, but also because I can't lift and shift any kit at the moment.

LimpLettice · 05/07/2018 10:49

Yay S1lver! Baby waving :) I had to tell my boss a week or two early as he was being very difficult with someone we will need when I am on leave. He was fine. And not very surprised either.

Love those early movements Sooz. Once they get more regular I think you realise there were more but you didn't know what they were. If that makes any sense haha.

Office is so fucking hot today, I was melting by 9.30, it is going to be a long day. I would love some air con.

SoozC · 05/07/2018 12:23

I had to tell my bosses at 6 weeks due to bleeding. But my head asked me today if people knew because she wants to make arrangements for maternity but didn't want to go blabbing if it was still secret! Which was nice of her.

Yay for a wave, Si1ver! Baby turned its back on us at the 12-week!

Thanks guys, haven't felt any more but we'll see this evening!

DoAsDreamersDo · 05/07/2018 14:02

Ooh Sooz that's exciting!!

Aww Si1ver how lovely to see him/her waving at you

Si1ver · 05/07/2018 14:27

My boss was actually terribly good about it and said he wasn't surprised. Apparently he's caught me absent mindedly touching my stomach the way his wife used to when she was pregnant.

WonkyDonk87 · 05/07/2018 19:56

Anyone here anaemic? Is this a pregnancy thing? Or just picked up because they happened to take bloods?

Ah brill, thanks @Milknosugar1 . I know I can rely on you guys for sensible answers. Did a quick google and I'm only a little under the range so not worrying atm although have sent shopping list to DH to bring home from work Grin
Gives me a little more reassurance that I am still preg too. May or may not have POAS yesterday 🙈😂

SoozC · 05/07/2018 21:40

Still POAS, Wonky?! 😂

It's great to have Yammers at different stages; there's always someone more knowledgeable to give advice and sensible words!

I think I'm having more flutters tonight! Feels different to wind, not sure how I know. Although that could be bollocks!

WonkyDonk87 · 05/07/2018 21:48

IT MAKES ME FEEL BETTER OK? 😂

WonkyDonk87 · 05/07/2018 21:49

I'm very excited about your flutters Sooz, don't doubt them - enjoy them!

NimbleKnitter · 07/07/2018 23:13

Yup - only now am I becoming anaemic.

Along with tachycardic and dehydrated. This hot weather can do one. Ended up on monitor for reduced movement, but turns out he was just sunbathing.

REALLY need this over with now though. Can’t handle another 4 weeks. I can’t get any shoes on

LimpLettice · 08/07/2018 07:44

Thanks for you Nimble. I'm suffering in the heat at 21 weeks, you must be exhausted. Office is hotter than hades, sleeping like shit, and I can still see my feet. I hope the next four weeks is done in a flash.

Summer1986 · 09/07/2018 06:49

Hello yammer grads, hope you are all ok....not caught up on the thread for a while but wanted to stop by to check in and let you know my baby girl arrived into the world late on Friday night :)
I'm besotted. She's perfect. Still in hospital as i was quite poorly pre birth and so we are both on antibiotics.
Hope you are all well and able to enjoy at least some of the beautiful weather.

Nimble....hate to say it but my experience of foot swelling is that it's worse at least for a couple of days post delivery!
