Definitely still in there!

Preaching to the choir here, but if he/she wasn’t sticking around, you’d know about it.

Chances are at this stage - you’re in it for the long haul.

(And by 37 weeks, haul is right. So. Much. Pain)

LookingAtTheStars89 · 01/07/2018 18:52

Have any of you ladies experienced dryness/soreness in the vag area? I'm wondering if I'm sore because I'm dry or sore because of thrush. I don't really have any itching and minimal discharge Hmm

Thanks guys, guess I was having a wobble due to maybe sitting on the sofa too much?! Reckon that's what made it soft; went to my parents' and sat on a hard lawn chair for about 90 mins and now my stomach is proper hard! Grin

I'm just worrying I'll be in that tiny percentage who have a late mc or still birth or something. Don't know how I'm going to get through the next 25 weeks!

BTW - by 14 weeks, how much weight had people put on? I was oversight to begin with but have only put on about 2lbs since I found out. I'm worrying that's not enough!

Nimble, nearly there! Sorry to hear you're in pain though.

Looking, no I haven't really. I hope you find something to relieve it.

NimbleKnitter · 01/07/2018 22:13

You don’t need to put on any weight for the first half, unless you are underweight to begin with.

NimbleKnitter · 01/07/2018 22:15

And yes - made it to mat leave, hooray!

Have also quit Facebook, so sorry if I’ve missed anything

LimpLettice · 02/07/2018 06:51

Can't believe you're so close Nimble!

Weight wise I've put on about 4lbs I think so far. No booze calories, smaller meals and no significant increase in junk, so it stands to reason really.

Thrush is v common in pregnancy Looking, get it checked out coz it gets worse if it is.

Anomaly scan today. Feeling bloody nervous. They've made such a hoohar about monitoring due to age that I can't help worrying, but I'm looking forward to seeing baby again.

SoozC · 02/07/2018 07:22

Anomaly scan today, Limp? Isn't that normally the 20-week scan? Are you having an extra one? Thinking positive thoughts for you x

LimpLettice · 02/07/2018 09:40

This is the 20 weeker! We had a private one at 16 weeks hence know the sex. I have another 3 booked for growth later on as week. Thank you.

SoozC · 02/07/2018 13:06

Ah, I was remembering you finding out the sex, that threw me! I thought you were further than six weeks ahead of me, nice to know we're not too far apart Smile

Hope it's gone well!

LimpLettice · 02/07/2018 13:42

Not til 2.30, about to leave work and getting v nervous but ta. It is nice - it was nice when you got your BFP as I was a bit invested haha, the yam threads did go that way. Although I haven't been on the current incarnation v much, I keep losing track of who everyone is these days.

SoozC · 02/07/2018 15:40

Yeah, I do check in but lots of new people I don't know well. I do like having you bunch of ladies I've known for months to go through this with me!

I got my first non-told person congratulations at work today, so the word is getting round! She's due beginning of December so we can compare in real life too Grin

LimpLettice · 02/07/2018 16:11

All is well. 50th centile all the way, still definitely a boy, looking healthy. Such a huge relief and so lovely to see face, lips and everything looking clear. Ultrasounds are so much better than when I had DD!

LimpLettice · 02/07/2018 16:12

It's so nice to have rl peers too. An old uni friend is about 8 weeks in front of me too which is giving me someone else to witter on to Smile

SoozC · 02/07/2018 17:08

Yay! Glad all is well, Limp! x

DoAsDreamersDo · 02/07/2018 18:03

Glad it all went well Limp I’ve got my 20week scan in just over two weeks! I can’t believe how quick this pregnancy is going!

WonkyDonk87 · 02/07/2018 18:16

Great news Limp Smile

Had my booking appt today, starting to feel a bit real now. ConfusedGrin

LookingAtTheStars89 · 02/07/2018 20:54

@WonkyDonk87. How far along are you now? You can't be far off me? I'm 7wk 2 days. I'm nauseated ALL THE TIME! I was sick before leaving for school and it was that acidy, burns your throat type of vom Envy

@LimpLettice. Ahh lovely

WonkyDonk87 · 02/07/2018 21:57

@LookingAtTheStars89 I'm 9 weeks 2 days today. Sorry you've been so sicky. I've been pretty lucky and not actually chucked yet.. just waves of occasional nausea. Mad dreams and bigger boobs are my most constant symptoms (trying to focus on that, not the acne and bleeding gums)

LookingAtTheStars89 · 02/07/2018 22:14

@WonkyDonk87. My boobs aren't any bigger at all Confused My gums are bleeding though, it was like a blood bath before bed last night!

WonkyDonk87 · 03/07/2018 23:22

Today's pregnancy related late night google: "am I really really bloated, or am I just fat?" 🤦🏽‍♀️😫

LookingAtTheStars89 · 04/07/2018 10:32

@WonkyDonk87. 😂 I think I fall into both categories! Don't worry yourself though. How are you feeling? I was sick as a dog this morning! I wretched that much that I peed a bit 😂😂😂 So classy!

LimpLettice · 04/07/2018 10:42

Hahaha. First few weeks I was like that. Loving how obvious it now is so I can point to the bump and pretend I wasn't a chunk before hand.

Looking I feel for you. Sickness went off a while ago but sneezing is a danger point for me. Doing pelvic floor exercises but honestly it doesn't seem to make much difference.

Finally got a reasonable night sleep last night - we bought a preg pillow on Amazon and I hadn't realised how uncomfortable I had been without it. Wasn't a particularly expensive one but is very supportive all round.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 04/07/2018 11:01

@LimpLettice. Coughing/sneezing/vomming - all potential piss yourself triggers 😂. My poor digestive system/bladder are taking a beating, I can only tolerate carbs and anytime I eat them I end up rushing off to the loo! I thought pregnant ladies were meant to get constipated!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 04/07/2018 11:02

@LimpLettice. My sleeping is pants too. I toss and turn and have the strangest dreams!
