I've had an email from Doggus.

She and her baby are fine, but she has had some sad news. Her mum has just been diagnosed with cancer and it is sadly terminal.
Doggus and her DH are moving up North to spend time with her mum and she will have her baby up there to make as much of the time with her mum as possible.

She promises she will come back to us when she is ready, and she is still very excited about her lo, but isn't quite ready yet.

I have sent her all our love from the June thread, and told her we are here for her anytime. She mustn't worry about bringing us down (as she said), just stay in touch.

Derlor! Am sending lots of get well vibes...

I saw mention of Johnny Depp somewhere in the thread - I love him and I have loved him ever since I saw him on 21 Jump Street.

Great news re MN coming to an agreement with SWMNBMN.

I know that I said I wouldn't mention rats again but can I just let you know that it will hopefully be sorted out tomorrow. Might have had something to do with me mentioning HEALTH AND SAFETY and moving into a hotel and sending the invoice to letting agents until problem sorted...

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 19:46

Oh doggus (((hugs))). If you are lurking all my best wishes are with you and your family. If you need to come on and shout and scream we are all here xxx

annobal · 09/05/2007 19:48

Poor poor Doggus. I don't really know what to say except that my heart goes out to her.

annobal · 09/05/2007 19:54

Someone was talking about free birthing or unassisted births this morning - there's a thread on it here

daisybump · 09/05/2007 19:54

Lilkel...I stopped wering jeans two weeks ago...even my materntiy ones were too uncmfortable.

Derlor....hope your DD is OK. Is it the smae thing that DS had last week? Try not to overdo things too much for the sake of the SPD....get your DH to help out or call in some ferrying to school favours if you can!

DKMA...missed your post earlier....I hope you're OK and that a couple of days rest will sort you out and that you haven't actually broken or cracked anything.

We're all falling to bits aren't we?

I've just had another emotional wobbly with DH who seems to be under the impression that I'm only doing it to piss him off. He hasn't called since he left for Boston yesterday or even sent a text...I had to call him this evening as I was about to put DS to bed and he likes to speak to his dad. Twunt!

daisybump · 09/05/2007 19:58

Poor Doggus .

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 20:01

Oh derlor, you poor thing and your poor dd. Hope she gets better soon, at least your dcs are getting their poorliness out of the way before lo arrives.

Well lilkel re trousers- My dd woke up at 3 screaming, so I went into her room to get her and I was desperate for a wee. She wouldn't let me put her down so I carried her downstairs with me to the loo (my bathroom is downstairs, such a PITA). As I was going down the stairs my trousers fell down and I had no spare hand to pull them up. So there I was in the middle of the stairs trousers round my ankles, bare arse on display, crossing my legs so I didn't wet myself! It was a sight to behold, I am so lucky it was in the middle of the night!

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 20:03

Here we go again!!

daisybump · 09/05/2007 20:06

It doesn't matter what we do does it?.....I think June baiting has become a game to some people now. The best approach is to just ignore it and they'll all just go and fuck off and leave us alone.

So ladies.....in through the nose for 10, out through the mouth for 10, and......Relax

annobal · 09/05/2007 20:11

LOL H&A (re the pants round the ankles - not the thread title - that just sucks)

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 20:13

Well we try not to offend anyone, but it just blows up in our faces. Next time maybe we should just go for full on in your face offensive!

daisybump · 09/05/2007 20:13

I think I might start a new thread in Chat entitled

Pointless threads by pointless people who have nothing better to do with their life than pick other peoples thread titles apart in the hope of starting a fight...the sad *s!

daisybump · 09/05/2007 20:14

Yeah HandA, like "Heavy metal pubes...will you give me a wax and trim please"

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 20:15

Daisy, how come your name has a little d now instead of a capital? I'm intrigued!

daisybump · 09/05/2007 20:17

you know I noticed that yesterday and thought I was just losing it, but I did a few cunning name changes, to sort of bagsy some potential new names when I am bumpless and I must have forgotten the capital when I changed it back.

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 20:20

Oh, I like it!

I've just had my dinner and I'm still hungry! Cheese and crackers are calling me! I'm so greedy!

daisybump · 09/05/2007 20:20

Just checked my registration details and that is exactly what I've done...muppet.

Perhaps Daisybump with a capital D can be my formal sunday name

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 20:23

I dare you to change it every sunday! I would PMSL!!

WhatAmuppet · 09/05/2007 20:23

What about this one.....

annobal · 09/05/2007 20:25

Ooh - I like that name - I won't say it suits you tho daisy (or is it Daisy?)

annobal · 09/05/2007 20:26

Just had yummy pasta and am also still hungry - cheese and crackers sounding very good H&A, or maybe raisins and cashews...

twunt · 09/05/2007 20:27

Personally I like this one!

twunt · 09/05/2007 20:27

Guess who I am !
