So so sorry to hear that redrobin 🙁

lost I got a travel system reduced from £160 to £100. But then they took a load more off at the till which made it around £80. I also got a brilliant breastfeeding kit i'd recommend, it's a Mam manual pump with bottles and accessories rrp at about £75 and I got it for about £30.

LostMyBaubles · 22/03/2018 14:59

Hows everyone getting on?
Have to start the injections tomorrow 😔

dingdongdigeridoo · 22/03/2018 21:25

They couldn’t get a nuchal measurement at scan so I was supposed to go for the quad blood test today. Turned up at pathology department and there was a two hour wait. Had to leave to do the school run so I’ve had to faff around parking and paying for the privilege for nothing. And I’ve got to go back tomorrow for a similar shit show!

blondie1001 · 23/03/2018 08:54

Argh how frustrating @dingdongdigeridoo

What injections do you have to have @lost?

I haven't been sick since Sunday - I'm really hoping that's it now. I also go all my lovely maternity clothes out of the attic and got really excited about wearing them but they're all too big - I need to be more pregnant! Hate this inbetween stage where normal clothes look awful and maternity clothes are too big!

CheekyPearl · 23/03/2018 13:28

@RedRobin7 My heart goes out to you. So sorry for your loss x

Flamingo84 · 23/03/2018 16:59

I had my 16wk midwife appt today (I’m 16+5). For those having theirs soon this is what happened:
Blood pressure check, urine sample and chat about how I’m getting on.
Results from blood tests at 12wk scan.
Leaflets on antenatal classes, she recommended booking in next few weeks as they fill up fast here.
Details on booking breastfeeding class.
Discussion of whooping cough vaccine as now is the time to sort that.
Website for virtual tour of delivery suites in the hospital, they don’t do walking tours anymore.
She also gave me the contact number if I have questions as after 17wks we have to go through the hospital.

All was well with me although I do have low blood pressure so I’m more susceptible to feeling dizzy/faint.

LostMyBaubles · 23/03/2018 18:42

I haven't had a local mw appt yet as was supposed to have it yesterday but had to see consultant.

Had to go back today to have my first injection. Hurt like a bitch and think ive bruised.

I did get to listen to heartbeat today which was nice

MonaTheMoaner · 24/03/2018 21:01

Confirmed today that we are having a little girl! Over the moon! I always knew I could reform Charlie's Angels Wink

Birdie963 · 25/03/2018 09:12

September 2018 #4: 12 weeks scans and bumps appearing!
Poppins2016 · 25/03/2018 10:16

I had my scan on Tuesday 20th and was 're-dated' to 13 weeks, so the first trimester is over already. I have noticed the start of a small bump (not that surprising as I'm almost 14 weeks now) which is lovely.

We told parents and closest friends after our first (early) scan, but held off telling anyone else until the 12 week scan... It was great to be able to tell siblings, friends, etc. this week. Smile

I'm planning on telling my boss tomorrow, feeling surprisingly nervous about it as work is stressful for everyone at the moment and I'm his PA, so I'm supposed to make life easier (not throw spanners in the works and swan off on maternity leave)! However I know he'll be pleased for me and I'm overthinking it really.

CheekyPearl · 26/03/2018 15:37

Welcome @Birdie963 what a lovely clear scan!
