Argh baby brain strikes! I left my laptop at home this morning and had to drive back and get it THEN I left it in the car at the park and ride and had to go back and get it. I think I should have stayed at home today!

Thought I had got over the sickness.
Is there any medication that's safe for sickness?

I had to come out of work today.
Plus how does doctor measure dehydration? I am afraid of being dehydrated. Don't know if I will get an appointment today.

Just catching up on the thread because it's the end of assignment season and the beginning of revision so I've been swamped with uni work and stress.

Just wanted to ask, at 15 weeks I'm safely in the second trimester, yes? I have dental work being carried out on March 14th and they need to x ray before extracting so we've waited two months for this date. It should be safe?

mamaiFifi - as long as you are weeing then you shouldn’t be dehydrated. If you aren’t keeping fluids down and can’t wee then you should call 111 so they can get you an out of hours GP. Poor thing, it sounds horrible.

Dentists won’t usually X-ray you during pregnancy. Even though dental X-rays are tiny amounts of radiation and not close to your bump.

Got our screening results back today. Downs 1:998 and edwards/pataus is 1:10000 letter says we are low risk for all 3 but 1:998 is a bit higher than I'm comfortable with

Hey all, had my scan at the EPU earlier. Baby is only measuring 6 weeks (I'm 11 today). I've got to go back in a week for a repeat scan just in case my dates are wrong. So I think I'm probably out xx

There are a few diff ones out there.

Cyclizine is the first one they normally try.

My sickness is still here and cyclizine doesnt work so they put me on orada something

Namechange these results really confuse me (maths has never been my strong point) so if the second number high then it's even less chance?

Hi all, I posted in the first thread but have been catching up with everyone’s news today. I am now 13.4 weeks EDD, Sept 6th and had my booking in scan this morning, a week late due to the snow. I have had hyperemesis since week 5 and thought I was getting over the worst of it but from Friday it has completely ramped up again, probably due to another kidney infection. I’m now a bit worried to be taking more antibiotics along with regular anti sickness (which again doesn’t seem to work) anyone else been bothered with Kidney or urinary tract problems? Have attached a photo of the little trouble maker.

And hg buddy. Ive been on antibiotics and antisickness this time round. Will prob be put on long term antibiotics on thurs.
I have kidney problems and suffer a lot with my kidneys, been on antibiotics with all3 and thankfully they are all well. Double check when you get them that they are safe during pregnancy.

JellyTots I'm so sorry you're in limbo. Are you certain about dates? With DD my 12 week scan ended up being at 5+5, I went back 6 weeks later and she was 12 weeks that time. Dates can be hugely out. I'm really crossing everything for you and hoping you just had an annovulatory cycle before concieving.

I finally told my mum, which I was dreading. But softening the blow with a scan booked for her to come to helped. She's really excited and won't stop messaging me.

Cuppa - I've never heard of that before. I got a positive pregnancy test on 14th January though? Plus I think my bleeding is turning red now rather than brown. I'm holding onto some hope but I think I need to be realistic that's it's probably over now.

@Katjolo my scan is also this Thursday. I'm now on antibiotics for s chest infection and I feel so ill I was already off work with exhaustion do this has just topped it off!

Had a spot on my neck (prob nothing)
Think I have tonsilitis but moving my neck really hurts. Prob because of pulled muscle in my back but top of back hurts too.

I've been trying to feel my uterus for a few weeks but I'm not the skinniest so wasnt always sure if what i was feeling was definitely it. Today I properly felt it! However, the top of it was definitely level with the bottom of my belly button.

Why so huge?! I have had a scan and there is only one! I'm 14+1 with my dates and 15 with dating scan. My mum was always big with us but she was only short whereas I'm 5"6 with a normal length torso. She had a hysterectomy and the surgeon said to her it was the biggest uterus he had seen 😂😂 I hope that isn't genetic!

Zoey I am so relieved to hear someone else say this! I don't know if I have a big uterus, or it swells up fast with pregnancy, but I always palpate like 5-10 weeks ahead in the first half of pregnancy!! My babies were 7.1 and 8.3 so not huge. I'm just so glad to not be the only one with this

Oh that sucks LostMyBaubles. Hope they can give you something pregnancy friendly to sort you out.

Big uterus chat is hilarious! I didn’t know it was possible. Could that be why my stomach is so big already?
